Plesk 12.x / Linux :: How To Sync Customers With WHMCS
Jun 11, 2014
I'am using Plesk 12 Web Pro Edition, I would like to know how can I sync my customers with WHMCS? I have config Plesk Server (at whmcs, module version Plesk 10/11) according to WHMCS. But I still with error and without can sync, users, domains, etc... from plesk web pro to whmcs.
I've got a e-mail notification problem since i upgraded from Plesk 11.5 to Plesk 12: One specific Application Update for customer X is being sent to all my customers.
Last week we did have a problem with a busted customer portal. ( not customer X, plus still on Plesk 11.5 ) I fixed this by using this procedure: [URL] ..... Restored two records and problem solved.
As a temporary resolution we disabled Application Updates for our customers, but I do want that my customers receive Application Updates, but just the one where they are the recipient.
When I try to unlock a subscription I get the following error message. The fact is that I have not customized any time any parameter of this subscription, but has blocked me.ERROR: Call to a member function isDefault() on a non-object (Domain.php:966)
I have a 'Service Plan' which has 270 subscriptions associated with it. When I navigate to 'Service Plans' page, underneath my plan it reads "Unable to sync subscriptions with the service plan" along with a yellow exclamation mark.
If I go into the plan there is another message near the "Update & Sync" button stating that syncing will take time and therefore be run in the background. When I click the "Update & Sync" button nothing appears to happen. If I then click on the plan again, as if to edit the settings I get the following "Warning: Subscriptions are currently syncing with the service plan. Please wait until the sync process is finished." and it prevents me from accessing the plan settings.
If I wait a while, I can eventually get into the plan settings again, which should mean that the Update & Sync has completed. However the "Unable to sync subscriptions with the service plan" warning is still present under my custom plan on the 'Service Plans' page and if I navigate to a subscription to check if it has been updated it hasn't.
If I change the subscription plan to another plan and then change it back to my original plan again, then the changes are reflected. But this is obviously a workaround.
Why doesn't the "Update & Sync" button do as it should?
Why is my plan "Unable to sync subscriptions with the service plan"?
I have a subscription and I'm able to switch the subscription to a given service-plan, but I'm unable to sync the subscription with the plan, using the CLI. These are my commands:
result => The subscription <domain.com> is now associated with the service plan Hosting..When watching the webinterface in Plesk, I see the domain is "connected" to the service plan, so far so good. However, I notice that the subscription is not synced.
Back to the CLI, I've tried some combinations, but I can't get the subscription synced. The webbased interface keeps telling me that the subscription is unsynced. Here is what I've tried:
And I also unlocked it (just in case it was locked) like so: /usr/local/psa/bin/subscription --unlock-subscription <domain.com>
The funny part is that the CLI tells me: "Subscription <domain.com> was synchronized with the associated service plans." but unfortenately it's not if I look through the GUI. Only if I click the sync-option webbased the subscription get synced. we have to transfer over 1000 domains and need to sync these domains with a given service-plan.
I have recently started using the slave DNS manager in the Plesk extension library. I've found that even for DNS zones that are switched off in Plesk, failed sync/transfers still try to take place between the slave and master. Why is this so?
Shouldn't turning the DNS functionality off in Plesk remove the zone from the slave DNS server?
When a domains DNS functionality is turned off, it removed the zone info from the master, but no command is issued to remove it from the slave??
Domain that is trying to sync/transfer: example.com Plesk/Master server: 111.11.11.111 Slave DNS: 222.222.22.222
Code: May 6 08:51:39 ns2 named[1178]: zone example.com/IN: refresh: unexpected rcode (REFUSED) from master 111.11.11.111#53 (source 0.0.0.0#0) May 6 08:51:39 ns2 named[1178]: zone example.com/IN: Transfer started. May 6 08:51:40 ns2 named[1178]: transfer of 'example.com/IN' from 111.11.11.111#53: connected using 222.222.22.222#53166
I'm using the migrate tool to clone our production server to a backup server.
I'm using the following command
Code: cd /opt/psa/bin/ ./migrate --migrate-server -host x.x.x.x -password mypwd
I've noticed that the per-domain PHP settings (like open_basedir and include_path) are not transmit to the backup server. Is that the expected behavior ? I would have prefer the migrate tool to include all settings....
How can I completely disable ALL notifications from plesk? We NEVER want plesk to notify customers of overages.
Not only do we want to disable all notifications but I want someone at parallels to know about the bug.. It notifies people that they are over or approaching limits when they aren't anywhere near it.. Here is a sample of one of the notifications emails sent. Names and emails changed of course...
Code: From: My Name [mailto:me@mydomain.com] Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2013 3:38 AM To: My Customer Name Subject: <host.mydomain.com> Notification: Resource usage by subscription has exceeded the allotments.
The 'domain.com' subscription, owned by user 'Customer Name', is approaching or already exceeded the resource usage limits:
We are running Plesk 12.0.18 with MySQL (Server Version: 5.5.33-MariaDB - openSUSE package) on OpenSuSE 13.1
MySQL is running in strict mode and its fine for the most of our customers. But some are trying to run Contenido, thats a CMS, which could work with this mode and we have to disable mysql strict mode.
So my question is: Is it possible to disable mysql strict mode just for choosen customers?
Any time I attempt to create a customer, subscription, domain, anything I get the error "The password should be between 5 and 20 characters in length.". The password is exactly like that. On some pages it gives an error to the username I chose and the error just explains what a username is (??)....
The only actual error I've seen is one from creating an account via the command line. It was a PHP error relating to a function having issues with the encoding or something. (I think this is only relating to sending feedback though?)
Error occurred while sending feedback. HTTP code returned: 502 PHP Notice: iconv(): Wrong charset, conversion from `ISO-8859-1' to `UTF-8//TRANSLIT' is not allowed; File: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/api-common/cu.php, Line: 599

I've been trying to get this to work for almost 2 weeks now. Is there a tutorial around for Plesk 12, Postfix and WHMCS that works? WHMCS does not support Plesk, only Direct Admin and cPanel.I'm getting this in maillog:
ct 4 23:12:48 xxx postfix/smtpd[24500]: connect from mail-la0-f44.google.com[29.5.15.4] Oct 4 23:12:49 xxx postfix/smtpd[24500]: E83E57C9C: client=mail-la0-f44.google.com[29.5.15.4] Oct 4 23:12:50 xxx postfix/cleanup[24506]: E83E57C9C: message-id=<CAC9_f0rbT-Lb-v1NKhAr7+HAkg@mail.gmail.com> Oct 4 23:12:50 xxx /usr/lib/plesk-9.0/psa-pc-remote[4537]: handlers_stderr: SKIP Oct 4 23:12:50 xxx /usr/lib/plesk-9.0/psa-pc-remote[4537]: SKIP during call 'check-quota' handler Oct 4 23:12:50 xxx postfix/qmgr[7097]: E83E57C9C: from=<test_user@gmail.com>, size=1859, nrcpt=1 (queue active) Oct 4 23:12:50 xxx postfix-local[24509]: postfix-local: from=test_user@gmail.com, to=support@xxx.net, dirname=/var/qmail/mailnames Oct 4 23:12:50 xxx postfix/pipe[24508]: E83E57C9C: to=<support@xxx.net>, relay=plesk_virtual, delay=1, delays=0.89/0.01/0/0.16, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (delivered via plesk_virtual service) Oct 4 23:12:50 xxx postfix/qmgr[7097]: E83E57C9C: removed
I have tried editing .qmail and I have also tried this tutorial -[URL] ..... but nothing is working for me at the moment.
I migrated from one server running Plesk 10.4.4 Update #59 to a new server running Plesk 11 which I then updated to 12.0.18 Update #32. Since moving to Plesk 12 the "Notify when disk space/traffic usage reaches" emails have been being sent to our customers set up on the server whereas previously they were sent to the server admin email address.
I have a client on a dedicated IP, today we needed to downgrade the web hosting plan. As the web hosting plan puts users on a default shared IP, this plan change also changed the dedicated IP to the shared one causing some propagation issues for a small period of time.
I have contacted WHMCS about this asking if they had a way of changing the clients plan but keeping the IP address intact as this could lead to some very undesirable outcomes. They explained that it is not their fault and to contact Parallels.
I know I can change the plan directly in Plesk however by initiating the plan change via WHMCS, everything is automated.
I have two Plesk servers running on CentOS. I want if one server goes down 2nd will start serve requests to clients. But data should be sync from first server to 2nd server or we can say 2nd will 100% replica of first. So if one server goes down 2nd will start serve users data thats they required like databases, emails and web request.
I'm looking for a method to basically clone my plesk site to another hosting provider also running plesk, the idea is so if my site A is down, I can just re-point the dns entry to Site B, and minimize downtime.
It makes sense to me to pay 2x hosting costs so I can have a site mirrored in case the main site goes offline, then I can just switch the dns to the new host. The trick is how can I automatically keep Site B mirrored as part of site A. Using Plesk Backup doesn't seem practical as it's not automatic. Does Cpanel have a site mirroring feature?
Would something like rsync work? Doesn't this require shell access? I'm looking for best practices to be able to mirror Site A to Site B in an automatic method..
I was trying to get Active Sync running on my Windows Server 2008 R2 to be able to sync calenders, adress-books etc. with my mobile without success. With a Linux Server ot seems to be "easy" changeable like posted here: [URL]...
Need getting Active Sync running on my Windows machine? According to the steps in the mentioned post, I failed very early
1. check
2. I changed the following files: => "C:inetpubvhostswebmailhordeconfigconf.php" "C:ParallelsPleskWebmailhordehordeconfigconf.php" "C:ParallelsPleskWebmailhordehordeconfigconf.php.plesk"
with the values: => $conf['auth']['admins'] = array(my mail account); $conf['activesync']['enabled'] = true; $conf['activesync']['version'] = '14.1';
3. Rewrite: here the "problems" start, as of course I don't have the nginx option the question is, where to place the rewrite-rules best?
4. check
5. don't know what to do here, if it even is a problem with the max connections to the imap server?
6. I can restart the mailenable service ?
7. as I have admin rights in horde now, I could do step 7!
That's it? I can't use the active sync features ...
i'm install whmcs in My plesk 12 for Windows now i set Cron Job but system Send email with subject "Parallels Panel Scheduler notification" and attached Files and Write>> Could not open input file: php ...
Is it possible to disable the option to change the system user (FTP/SSH) for customers. I can disable this for the control panel user but not the system user (FTP/SSH). Is there any option to do this that I didn't see?
I have windows 2008 server with plesk 9.2 and whmcs installed, it worked well for 10-15 days but now when ever i click on create account module it just gives me "INTERNAL SERVER ERROR 500" i contact whmcs and they replied the following
------------------------------------------ I am getting an internal server error - this is being returned from your Plesk server. you should check the server error logs for the issue,
Regards, Andrew ----------------------------------------------------
but i checked every thing looks fine example time out etc what can be the real problem? please help
I have wrote a shell script that uses public keys to sync data between some servers, the problem is that moving about 20 GB from one server to another, is consuming too much CPU, about 80%. Is this normal? Should I use nice -n +number scp -p bla bla bla.. as syntax to try to get a lower cpu usage?
