Plesk 11.x / Linux :: AWS Route 53 Integration
Jun 6, 2014I have been stuck on a rather annoying issue using the Route53.php script included within the Plesk Extensions SDK - [URL] ....
Instructions were followed from [URL] .... but there are obvious confusions with the instructions.
First, it never mentions that within Server Management - Extensions you can load the extension and within the AWS Route 53 extension settings and you are prompted to enter in your identifying security keys. But the instructions ask to code these keys into the actual script, must this be done in both places??
Second, how does it operate?? After I install the extension/script must anything else take place? Do I register private dns addresses using my Route 53 ips and the rest is automatic? Should more information be added within the Plesk DNS template area or can I just turn off the DNS/Bind server and only utilize Route 53? There is no feedback in the UI letting you know it is actually on and working.
Third, I have tried to install the script in ssh and I always receive error:
ERR (3) [panel]: PHP Fatal error: Class 'pm_Loader' not found in /......./modules/route53/scripts/route53.php on line 8 I stumbled on a thread discussing this bug at [URL] .... but it leads to a dead end with the author withholding what the bug fix was and how to achieve it.

I found a solution on the internet and updated the records with phpmyadmin [URL] ....
When I click on Login at the the WordPress Installations I'm still being navigated to the old website url. It supprices me that there is no option to change it on Plesk level after wordpress is deployed.
How can i change or update the wordpress path once it is installed in Plesk?
I'm using CentOS 6.2, maybe there is a config file or an database for Plesk?

Problem started to appear just after I updated server with atomicorpURL....When I try to update manually through console (yum update) I get following error:

Can't connect to backend: No such file or directory
The source is locked and the "Store installation files in directory" is empty and i cant change it. The source gives an explantation:
"This field was locked by vendor. Enable it by removing 'SOURCE' option from Parallels Installer configuration file."
But where is the Installer configuration? I think i might have deleted this by accident and comparing files with another server didnt gave result.

Pretty sure it is a permissions problem, have tried chown -R domain.com.au domain.com.au and returns invalid user.
Can now FTP, use webmail, preview the site and have uploaded a pretty big site .... the Paraellels site displays it as 0mb disk space used and only displays the default Parallels place holder.
This is what a new domain name is displaying ######################################
Files listed in the file manager ######################################
Files uploaded using Filezilla FTP program ######################################
Default place holder ... can't display any other page. ######################################
Have checked all DNS settings and they match the other domains.

Dec 3, 2014So I set up a Cloud VM to host a number of websites and as a precaution I enabled the Parallels Antivirus.... wow. The server memory usage has shot up from 55% to 108% when it is turned on.
This is bonkers - how can I reduce the memory back to a safer % while keeping the AV turned on? Are there other services that are non essential that I can turn off without effecting performance?

Jun 11, 2014I've got a serious problem with a domain I purchased from parallels marketplace.
I have a plesk installation at my current provider (server4you.de) and I ordered a domain via the integrated services of plesk: marketplace.parallels.com
Great. So now I own the domain.
However, I cannot propagate my IP or set the domain's dns servers. Of course, a proper DNS template has already been applied.
My plesk installation is not hosted by parallels. My provider (server4you.de) sais, they can't do anything, because I ordered via plesk panel. The domain has been purchased via marketplace.parallels.com, but the registrar is tucows. I have no user account for tucows. Regardless what the plesk KB sais, it is NOT possible on my marketplace account to set the nameservers. I don't have that option in my marketplace account.
It seems like I have a domain now that I cannot use. Where can I set the nameservers for the domain?
The parallels support is hidden behind seemingly 1000 barriers. Whom can I contact to set the nameservers for me? I CANNOT even transfer the domain to my provider as the domain status is "server transfer prohibited".

Nov 18, 2014For some time now the Autoinstaller fails and the Plesk control panel becomes inoperable until I run the stop and then start command for the plesk control panel. Looking at the error log: autoinstaller3.log I see the following output:

Since you use one or more 3rd-party repos (say, atomic), be careful when installing different package versions from different repos as this may lead to installation failures. For example, you may encounter a problem if you first install PHP from a 3rd-party repo and then upgrade it using the Parallels repo. To avoid such situations, install and upgdare packages from the same repo.
