May 19, 2014I'm trying to use spamfilter to block mail from specific address, adding this e-mail to spamfilter in mail account settings, but it doesn't work. In logs I see:
spamc[13430]: skipped message, greater than max message size (256000 bytes).

Aug 25, 2014When creating a domain alias in Plesk, I can activate Web, Mail and DNS. When I activate "Mail" I would think that I now can create a mail address with that domain (myaddress @ domainalias.com). But I can't. If I create a new one I only can choose between the "real" domains. Is this a bug or a feature?

I understand this is a problem with the database but I am not sure where to look to fix it.

Jun 20, 2014Since upgrading to 12.0.18 Update #5 i have picked up a strange problem when creating a new email account.
When I try setup and new email account on any domain, I get teh following error message.
Code:
Error: mailmng-outgoing failed: ERROR:outgoing:mails.domain_id may not be NULL
If i click OK, I get the following error message
The specified email address is already in use.
I have to click cancel to return to the email address list, which shows the new email address with NO mailbox.
I then have to open the email address and check the Mailbox option to activate it.
Now the email account is configured correctly.

Apr 21, 2015On my plesk server, i have several emails account. These email addresses should receive only emails send by a specific server. But for now, they can receive any email, including spam.
So, i would like to block all emails that are not coming from the allowed server.
How can i do this in plesk ? As i am not a very good server admin, can you tell me exactly what i need to do in plesk?

Oct 16, 2014Is there any way to forbid plesk panel to use one of the IP addresses?If I remove address from panel - it has removed physically from network interface. I want to keep this IP address on network interface, but not let plesk panel use this address in all config files (nginx. apache, ssl etc.)
I want to use standard ports (443 and 80) on this IP address with some custom program not related to plesk panel and web servers. But now Plesk binds all available IP addresses to it services by default.

I have to install several SSL certificates and the provider indicates me I must use different IP address in each domain, but I don't know how to do that.
I have several IPs
But all the domains are associated with the first IP, and I can't disassociate one domain and associate it to other IP.
Only when I go to settings for the hosting, I can change the IP, but it's the IP of the hosting, not the IP for one domain.

Plesk 12.x / Linux :: Change SSL Cert Assigned To IP Address
May 4, 2015I changed the default certificate (I added the certificate and marked as Default in Server->SSL Certificates).Also I assigned the SSL certificate to my domain.
This works fine, but now I'm trying to make the website PCI Compliant and their test shows that if you request the certificate from the ip address (instead of using the domain) it showns the Parallels self signed certificate instead os showing the default certificate i uploaded). I used also ssltools.websecurity.symantec.com tool and it shows the same. How to change the certificate shown for the one I bought?

May 24, 2014I had an SSL cert that is about to expire so I purchased a new one, installed it, uninstalled the soon to expire cert. Went into Tools and Settings > IP Addresses, and assigned the new certificate to the IP.
Although I deleted the old certificate, it still shows in a browser as well as when I test the domain at a SSL server testing website. The new certificate shows also in both browser and test website, but it is a secondary certificate after the soon-to-expire cert.
How do I get rid of the original certificate?

192.168.1.10 (primary, bold)
89.104.83.139
Since the first IP adress is just the internal IP adress, I'd like to remove it, but I get the message that it's not allowed because it would be the primary IP.
Plesk has no option to just switch the primary IP adress, so what's the way to do it with plesk12?

Jul 9, 2014This is on Ubuntu 12.04 with Plesk 11.5.
I set this up for someone, and temporarily changed the email for the administrative account to my address.
I have since changed this back to the original email, but Plesk keeps sending the administrative emails to my account.
I've pretty much grepped through the entire server for my email in order to stop it sending me emails, but I can't for the life of me find out why it keeps sending these emails to me.
How do I make Plesk send these emails to the right email-account?
The server is using Qmail.

Jun 12, 2014I currently run a fair size forum which is running IPB and the new version recommends mysql 5.6. Therefore I decided to go ahead and get this installed. In the process I managed to mess up all my sites completely like a moron and at one point couldnt access anything running modcgi. Now I have fixed almost all of it
Problem: Problem I have now is that I cannot access the plesk panel no matter what I try. Firstly I could not restart the service as it said that the database was missing, and therefore I have restored the PSA database from a backup. The service now restarts however looks slightly different to how I would usually see the restart:-
Stopping sw-engine-fpm: [ OK ]
Starting sw-engine-fpm: [ OK ]
However I cannot access the panel from the usual address. All I get is "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at husky-owners.com:8443" . Im at a bit of a loss as to where to go from here.

Jul 23, 2014There is a strange problem with the new feature fail2ban. I have noticed that a local ip address (ip address from the webserver itself) was added to the blocked ip addresses of fail2ban now for the second time. What I can see is that it was the recidive jail.
If there is nginx used as reverse proxy you get a "502 Bad Gateway". Any way to find out more about the reason why an ip address is added to the list of blocked ip addresses in fail2ban?

Feb 15, 2015I have a fresh server running CentOS 6 (final). I am trying to install Plesk 11.5.30 but i am experiencing some problems. When i run the plesk-installer i get this message:
Your host name must resolve to the correct IP address of your server, unless you are using network address translation (NAT).
Please quit Parallels Installer, fix the host name resolution problem, and then try installing again.
You can skip the hostname check and continue the installation, however, in such a case, the installer cannot guarantee successful installation.
Now, in my /etc/hosts file i have this:
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
::1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6
Is this correct? Or do i need to add/change something else?
My server is in the clound.

Sep 13, 2014We are looking for a solution to support multible IP's for different domains in one subscription/cusomer Account. Current, we have 4 IP's as shared. the Customer can choose under "Web Hosting Access" , which IP he wants to use.
This setting effect all domains in his Account. So it is not possible to set domain1.tld to e.g. IP 1.1.1.1 and domain2.tld e.g. to 2.2.2.2
We like to offer the cusomers one cusomer account with multible IP's

Jul 14, 2015I have a plesk12 webhost linux. We are having an issue about horde webmail. Weird because one of the email user cannot open email coming from specific email address and this is the message:
Error Message: Error when communicating with the server and There has been no contact with the server for several minutes. The server may be temporarily unavailabe or network problems may be interrupting your session. You will not see any updates until the connection is restored.
Now upon checking to the error logs of httpd, I found the ff:

Apr 3, 2015Almost all mail adresses on my server is getting a spam mail from same mail marketing company everyday and i want to block them... Normally i just add the mail address to blacklist from "Spam Filter Settings" but this company is opening new addresses everyday and it is impossible to add all of them to blacklist so i need adding it as a regex to the blacklist...
The company i am talking about is opening mail addresses every day like below...
nrt150401@hotmail.com
nrt150402@gmail.com
nrt150403@yandex.com
nrt150404@mynet.com
As you can see all mail addresses begin with "nrt"+"6 digits of day"+"free mail provider", so right now i am using the regex below and it is already added to the blacklist but they are still able to send me... What can i do now?

Dec 2, 2014I have 2 different servers one with Plesk 11.5. and one new just installed Plesk 12.0, the 12.0 will not send emails out but i get them back to the inbox of the outgoing server. is there a fix for this as i have tried both postfix and qmail to send out emails all with the same result.
It seems that something has changed from version 11.5 to 12.
The plesk configuration is installed on Debian 7.7 OS

Mar 3, 2015I upgraded from 11 to 12 (centOS) and set outgoing mail limits for mailboxes, domains and subscriptions, as per the documentation at URL....However, it doesn't appear the limits are limiting outgoing mail. As I can still send far more mail than the current limit using a PHP script.
