I was looking at my qmail queue using qmHandle and noticed that one of the emails sitting in the queue was simply there because of a blatant typo in the email address.
Therefore, I went to the appropriate file in
/var/qmail/queue/mess/*/*
and edited the file to reflect the new email address.
Does this work at all, or should the user resend the email? I naturally don't want to look at email that isn't intended for me (which is why qmHandle is a useful tool -- because only headers are available) nor do I want someone to know that I know their email is sitting in the queue (because they might assume that I *am* reading their email even though I'm not!)
I tried qmHandle -a to no avail; the email address has been edited as per my changes, but the email is still just sitting there.
I've looked a good amount of time trying to change/find where its stored. I've looked in var/qmail and there is no alias folder..We're running postfix/dovecot ....
The Plesk Health monitor is sending alerts to the wrong email by default. How can it be changed?hanged" notifications by "Health Monitor" are triggered by the default address that has been setup in My Profile > Profile & Preferences or is there a different way of changing this setting.
I set this up for someone, and temporarily changed the email for the administrative account to my address.
I have since changed this back to the original email, but Plesk keeps sending the administrative emails to my account.
I've pretty much grepped through the entire server for my email in order to stop it sending me emails, but I can't for the life of me find out why it keeps sending these emails to me.
How do I make Plesk send these emails to the right email-account?
I have a customer that would like a list of their email addresses including all aliases and forwarders. Is there an option to export email addresses to CSV? I can't seem to find anything in the control panel and I dont want to copy and paste 300 addresses.
I have a plesk12 webhost linux. We are having an issue about horde webmail. Weird because one of the email user cannot open email coming from specific email address and this is the message:
Error Message: Error when communicating with the server and There has been no contact with the server for several minutes. The server may be temporarily unavailabe or network problems may be interrupting your session. You will not see any updates until the connection is restored.
Now upon checking to the error logs of httpd, I found the ff: [Tue Jul 14 16:53:09 2015] [warn] [client 202.X.X.X] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Class 'Math_BigInteger' not found in /usr/share/psa-pear/pear/php/Horde/Mapi.php on line 172, referer:http://webmail.domainsample.com/imp/dynamic.php?page=mailbox
Almost all mail adresses on my server is getting a spam mail from same mail marketing company everyday and i want to block them... Normally i just add the mail address to blacklist from "Spam Filter Settings" but this company is opening new addresses everyday and it is impossible to add all of them to blacklist so i need adding it as a regex to the blacklist...
The company i am talking about is opening mail addresses every day like below...
As you can see all mail addresses begin with "nrt"+"6 digits of day"+"free mail provider", so right now i am using the regex below and it is already added to the blacklist but they are still able to send me... What can i do now?
When I change an email address on a user's account I get this error?

I just upgraded my Plesk 11.5 on Plesk version: 12.0.18 Update #9 , and after the upgrade the Postfix stop working. And forwarding, receiving is not working at all and I am getting message bellow.
I migrate from plesk 9.5 to another server with plesk 12.0.18, and then outlook and mail default from iphone don't work, but tunderbird and webmail work well.
In outlook when i put the same configuration than tunderbird and i try to send mail out from my domain said this error:
How do I stop getting all those Received-SPF: headers prepended to the mailman list? It tags on a header that's well over 32K for a message that is less than 1K.
I run a server and have ONLY problems if i am sending mails to domains hosted by google ...
OSUbuntu 12.04.5 LTS Plesk version12.0.18 Update #24, last updated at Nov 20, 2014 06:32 AM
Here a little bit about my configuration:
a) I have set a Reverse DNS (xyz.mydomain1.com) - My hostname! b) i run 4 domains on this server (mydomain1, mydomain2, mydomain3, mydomain4) c) my DNS settings are made by myself in my Domain Provider account d) i also set SPF records and i use Domain Keys
Everything works like a charm but following now the outputs with my problems:
2008-01-23 10:55:54 no IP address found for host srv.adwatcher4.com (during SMTP connection from [209.50.243.42]) 2008-01-23 10:55:55 H=(srv.adwatcher4.net) [209.50.243.42] Warning: Sender rate 5.8 / 1h 2008-01-23 10:55:55 H=(srv.adwatcher4.net) [209.50.243.42] sender verify fail for <none@localhost>: Unrouteable address 2008-01-23 10:55:55 H=(srv.adwatcher4.net) [209.50.243.42] F=<none@localhost> rejected RCPT <me@mydomain.com>: Sender verify failed
I turned off Sender Verification while Sender Verification Callouts was already unticked, yet I still get the same error even with this in the ACL config:
Have a new VPS, changed DNS and all is resolving fine. Check MX recods and again all is well. I can SEND email fine, and it is delivered, but ALL email sent to my VPS with LiquidWed is being rejected.
I checked the mail statistics page in WHM and sure enough there are nearly 300 rejected messages including benign stuff like gmail and monster.com (I had to do an arin lookup to see whom the IP's belonged to)
Any suggestions on how I can fix? I searched before starting the thread and found:
[url]
But the OP in that thread said the advice didn't work.
I was checking my emails today, and have had several that have bounced back. They all returned a message like this:
Quote:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at web1.daniel15.com. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

Basically what I want to do is to change the "From: "email address for system user "Plesk Administrator" when sending the automated notification with subject "Parallels Panel Scheduler notification". Where would I do this?
We are trying to use a configure settings for an external SMTP server within Plesk (Windows 2008 R2 Plesk 12) but are receiving the following error message:
Error: Unable to encode IDN email address 'username': email address is invalid
We are trying to use a username for SMTP authentication as we do not have the option of using an email address with our current SMTP relay provider.
Is there any way around this so that we can use a username rather than an email address?
I'm having difficulty sending an email to another email address (with a different domain) which is on the same VPS.The trouble is, on the other domain's VPS control panel, within the DNS settings, the MX records have been pointed externally (to an exchange server). Their email is turned off. But bizarrely, their mailbox is full.
It seems as though Plesk is ignoring the MX records, and sending MY email internally to the OTHER domain's mailbox on the same VPS.How do I get Plesk to send my mail to the correct EXTERNAL MX records?
On my plesk server, i have several emails account. These email addresses should receive only emails send by a specific server. But for now, they can receive any email, including spam.
So, i would like to block all emails that are not coming from the allowed server.
How can i do this in plesk ? As i am not a very good server admin, can you tell me exactly what i need to do in plesk?
Is there any way to forbid plesk panel to use one of the IP addresses? If I remove address from panel - it has removed physically from network interface. I want to keep this IP address on network interface, but not let plesk panel use this address in all config files (nginx. apache, ssl etc.)
I want to use standard ports (443 and 80) on this IP address with some custom program not related to plesk panel and web servers. But now Plesk binds all available IP addresses to it services by default.
