How can we add a range of IPs say x.x.x.1 - x.x.x.250 and exclude certain IPs within this range?Say x.x.x.10, x.x.x.15, x.x.x.17, and so on, must be reserved and not used by PPA. If this is not possible, can this please be implemented?
View 3 RepliesI have a server setup and running shared hosting perfectly. I duplicated one of the plans and just set it to DEDICATED IP. This is for users that will be requiring SSL.
I then went into my panel settings and added in all the additional ip's. It even says in the panel listing "6 dedicated ip's available".
Yet, when I try to re-run the task for provisioning it constantly fails with the message:
Unable to create hosting. Ip address does not exist in client's pool ....
Is it possible to enable postfix address extensions while still having "What to do with mail sent to nonexistent users" set to "Reject"? I am trying to get confirmation to work where we have:
Code : user@domain.com
as a valid mailbox. I want emails addressed to
Code : user+confirm+2945o2419485@domain.com
to be also delivered to user@domain.com. But its being blocked by the plesk delivery service. Is there a way to get around that? FYI - the numbers are dynamically generated, so setting up an alias for that specific address will not work.
I'm attempting to run PPA on Azure but I only have one IP to work with, the public IP address. It's not possible to communicate between servers using the internal IP addresses as they are not necessarily on the same sub net. How can I get PPA and service nodes running on a single IP address per machine?
An example of the error I get when setting up a service node is
Failed to execute command 'cscript /Nologo http_download.js http://<private ip address>/tarballs/Win32Bin/support.cab'. Check logs in 'c:POA_Deploy' at host '<public ip address>' for more details about the reasons of failure.
Is it Normal that NAT / Internal IP Address shows up in customer panel ? It shows up in the detail page of Web Hosting Access, detail page of Mail Settings and on the detail page of Adding new databases.
DNS and on the section of Web Hosting Access in the front page of Websites and Domains are showing the correct public IP address

We are trying to enable the dedicated IIS pool for some customers through the RPC API (Plesk 12, Win2k12R2) but couldn't find a way to. I understand we can do it through CLI with "client_pref.exe --set-iis-app-pool-settings <login_name> -iis-app-pool-turned-on true", and also through web interface, but is it possible via API? it would be really easier and cleaner.

How can I set dedicated IIS Application Pool for each domain/subdomain? I only can found the setting assign one application pool for each subscription. But my subscription have two subdomain (one subdomain have virtual directory to share to other subdomain) and would like have two application pools.

and get the following error.

Looks like some lib is not found in the mirrors.
On a clean install of CentOS 6.6 (Final) I did the following:
1. updated the /etc/hosts file to point my ip to the hostname
2. Open the ports in the iptables file.
3. ran the ppa_installer per the instructions on [URL] ....
The ppa_installer log says installed Successfully. However the following occurs:
1. Cannot browse to the url:8443, or any of the other variations (8080, 8880, https/http)
2. Yum installer is now broken (I replicated this twice). Yum will not run at all with the following error:

We are running the latest Plesk 12 under CentOS 7.
While I can see the App Owncloud as Admin in the Application Vault my users cannot see that particular app in their Application pool. They can see all other apps though. Just not Owncloud.
All resellers and customers are allowed to install everything from the pool and i selected Owncloud in the Vault already and "made it available" .. Though it is not shown.
I assign separate application pools to the websites created on a IIS 6 server. However, whenever I create a virtual directory in any of the websites, it does not inherit the application pool assigned to the website, but assigns the Default App Pool and it creates a problem since we support all the versions of Dotnet Framework on the server. Is this behavior by design or there is an workaround to this problem?
View 0 Replies View RelatedI have recently deployed PPA with on nodes with hostnames on the serverroom.net.au domain, so management.serverroom.net.au, mail.serverroom.net.au etc. The DNS is currently hosted on a plesk server which will soon be migrated to PPA.
When I add the serverroom.net.au domain to PPA, I it fails at the sync task with an error saying that there are no A or AAA records for ns1.serverroom.net.au, even when these records exist in the external DNS. The same error occurs when I try to add the domain as a dns entry and switch to internal...
i have installed a Win2008R2 server with IIS and Coldfusion. I want to allow customer to set DSN, i know that older "Plesk Panel" versions that can do but i missing this now in PPA in the customer view. In the subscription is OBDC and Coldfusion connections allowed and unlimited. Must i do anything to activate this ?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWe operate many Plesk VPS servers in a virtual environment for our customers and would really like the ability to allow Plesk VPS servers to switch to using our PPA DNS servers instead of having to have multiple ips on each VPS to run their own name servers. Not to mention the added nuisance of each customer having to register name servers and glue records.
We looked at adding the Plesk servers as nodes to our PPA cluster but the license jump and loss of Nginx is completely prohibitive. Is this possible?

Code: You specified incorrect username.
The problem propably is, that the username (1234_ftpuserexample) stats with digits.
I try to apply my dns template to all dns but it can't work.
I try on the interface and on the command line.
/usr/local/psa/bin/dns --reset [domain_name] -ip [ip]
Is it somehow possible to disable autoresponders for spam mails? Many spam mails are sent under false addresses and will produce MAILER DEAEMON messages if the autoresponder trys to reply to them.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWe currently have Plesk Expand 2.3.2 with 3 Linux servers, 1 Windows server, a SmarterMail server and 2 DNS servers that we are looking to migrate to PPA 11.5. I have the PPA working okay and am trying to test out a migration on just one domain from one of the Linux servers. When I run the preliminary check I keep getting this error:
Error: Mail content transfer from Qmail/Postfix to SmarterMail mail service is not supported.
Assign this subscription to a service template which offers Postfix mail service. We aren't using Qmail or Postfix for user mailboxes in the Expand or PPA systems, only the SmarterMail. I've tried the work around listed here: [URL] .... but that didn't work.
Am I still going to have to assign Postfix to my Service Templates in PPA even if we're not planning on using it for mailboxes?
I have all my client hosting accounts set up to do backups daily but only keep two backups.
There is a problem as PPA is not deleting old backups and simply creates more and more backups until the backup server eventually runs out of space.
Any workaround for AWS and adding nodes for PPA. Since the AWS instances use key pairs for root access you can't ssh as root with a password.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just noticed that in our first zone, every record has a TTL of 900. All three nameservers in our system are handing out the same incorrect TTLs (easily visible via AXFR, and expected since two are slaves). Operations > Customers > Customer > Domains > domain shows every record in this zone has a TTL of 42300. The DNS resource's Activation Parameters and zone's SOA are set as follows:
Refresh 43200
Retry 600
Expire 2419200
Min TTL 900
Default TTL 43200 (for the resource; not editable for the zone)
PPA seems to be silently using the Min TTL to override the zone records that it shows with the desired TTL on screen. Changing the Min TTL in the SOA for a zone changes the TTL of all records.
This zone has both template-generated and manual records.
We are having an issue with websites randomly getting disabled within our PPA system. There doesn't seem to be any reason why they are getting disabled. Our PPA is not tied to a billing system that would make them shut off. Turning them back on works fine but it shouldn't be just shutting them off.
