Aug 1, 2012How can I set dedicated IIS Application Pool for each domain/subdomain? I only can found the setting assign one application pool for each subscription. But my subscription have two subdomain (one subdomain have virtual directory to share to other subdomain) and would like have two application pools.

I understand we can do it through CLI with "client_pref.exe --set-iis-app-pool-settings <login_name> -iis-app-pool-turned-on true", and also through web interface, but is it possible via API? it would be really easier and cleaner.

Feb 1, 2013I have a server setup and running shared hosting perfectly. I duplicated one of the plans and just set it to DEDICATED IP. This is for users that will be requiring SSL.
I then went into my panel settings and added in all the additional ip's. It even says in the panel listing "6 dedicated ip's available".
Yet, when I try to re-run the task for provisioning it constantly fails with the message:
Unable to create hosting. Ip address does not exist in client's pool ....

Plesk 11.x / Windows :: FTP Option In Admin Panel Completely Missing
Feb 19, 2014I've encountered a curious problem. Fresh install of Plesk 11 on a Windows 2008 R2 Server. If I want to configure FTP-Accounts under "Domain&Mail" the option is missing entirely. The Server is running an FTP Server and I can connect via FTP to some parts with some users I have created in Plesk. I've scrounged the internet for information about what might be going on here but came up empty.
There is no option to configure FTP Accounts or anything FTP in Plesk. There is empty space where the link should be.

It would be great to have this section as a textarea in the PHP settings for a Service plan as it would give the basic control to alter some settings that some of us really would like to control them faster and easier.

Oct 16, 2014We are running the latest Plesk 12 under CentOS 7.
While I can see the App Owncloud as Admin in the Application Vault my users cannot see that particular app in their Application pool. They can see all other apps though. Just not Owncloud.
All resellers and customers are allowed to install everything from the pool and i selected Owncloud in the Vault already and "made it available" .. Though it is not shown.

Feb 21, 2015After I post my desired subdomain as mysubdomain.domain.com on /mysubdomain.domain.com/
I get "Error: phpinimng failed: Usage: phpinimng [options] [php_ini_file] phpinimng: error: no such option: --global-config" on main window.
Tried to search how to fix this error, i managed to find that there is also " missing or incorrect /usr/local/sb/include/init.php ". As for this error this doesn't work [URL] .... It's already correct permission 755.
The subdomain appears only in DNS records on my domain. But not in the main plesk panel window.
OS is Debian 7.6 and Plesk 11.5, mysql runs over sock
Maybe I could create manual configuration over ssh in /var/www/vhost/ dir ..?

Jun 9, 2013I have an issue with Plesk 11. I have a few websites with different subscriptions, each running in a dedicated application pool.The moment I access the website (via browser), the application pool is automatically stopped and 503 Service Unavailable is returned.
After I manually start the application pool, it runs (no stop icon for that app pool in IIIS Manager) until the first attempt to load the website is made.
The users for the respective pools are the ones created by Plesk when subscriptions were created.Details: Pesk Panel 11.0.9 Update #53, IIS8, running on Windows Server 2012.

Note: Recently migrated from Plesk 9.2
Trying to set Default Site for a Dedicated IP Address.
I go to Subscription, then to domain > Change Hosting Settings, select dedicated IP address and OK, works fine. Site goes to Default Plesk Page.
Go to Tools & Settings, IP Addresses > Select the dedicated IP address I set above. Change Default Site to site above. Click Ok.
I get the error message above and nothing changes.
I looked on my IIS Server and MailEnable's Webmail is installed under the Default Website.
I have another Dedicated IP on this server and it has a default site on it working properly, but it was set up on the old site and it was configured as part of the Migration using Migration Manager.
I tried deleting the IP address and adding it back in. That didn't change anything. I also tried running: "%plesk_bin%websrvmng.exe" –reconfigure-webmail since that came up under someone else's issue when searching the web and that .exe is what's throwing the error.

Apr 23, 2014I'm using on virtual machine the last version of PLESK 11.5.3 update #42 and UBUNTU 12.04.4 LTS provide by a main Italian ISP, the MySQL version is 5.5.35-0ubuntu0.12.04.2.I'm trying to enable the local-infile option in the /etc/mysql/my.cnf file:

When I'm restarting mysql service (with command "service mysql restart") the PHP script works correctly and "SHOW GLOBAL VARIABLES" results "ON", but when server reboot or some hours by the restart the PHP script return to not work correctly and appear the standard messagge: "The used command is not allowed with this MySQL version".Maybe the problem is the start of mysql on boot? I haven't any errors in the mysql or system log!!

I'm also wondering what "restore this backup despite the fact that it does not have a valid signature" means. I see a check box. Is Plesk telling me my backup doesn't have a valid signature? What is the meaning of a "signature"?

Oct 16, 2013I have Plesk 11.5 (service provider mode) on a Windows 2008 server IIS7.Most of my sites are developed in .asp and therefore i use a custom 500-100.asp error page that check s the IP of the visitor then displays either a friendly error, or if its my IP a full error of what has happened (it also emails me the error). This allows me to debug pages easily whilst developing and to keep an eye on anyone trying SQL Injection hacks on my sites (as the error and email also have session variables and IP address).I dont have root access to the server as it is a Webfusion dedicated server.I have following the Plesk documentation -
1) Switch on custom errors for the subscription
2) Look in virtual directories and navigate to error documents
3) Find the error in question (500:100) and change it to point at either a file or URL
FILE - I had the data centre add in the 500-100.asp error page in to the virtual template so that my page is available in the list of virtual files - this didn't work but that maybe because its not a static page??
URL - when i add the path it says its incorrect, if i add a fully qualified address, it accepts it but it doesn't work.give me a specific example of the URL that can be entered relative to the root as the format in the documentation isn't accepted. The last step is to restart IIS which is also an issue as i cant seem to do this from the Plesk panel..It is as if it isn't catching the 500:100 error, and only catching the general 500 error??
Virtual Directory Does Not Inherit Application Pool
Oct 28, 2009I assign separate application pools to the websites created on a IIS 6 server. However, whenever I create a virtual directory in any of the websites, it does not inherit the application pool assigned to the website, but assigns the Default App Pool and it creates a problem since we support all the versions of Dotnet Framework on the server. Is this behavior by design or there is an workaround to this problem?
