Oct 16, 2014We are running the latest Plesk 12 under CentOS 7.
While I can see the App Owncloud as Admin in the Application Vault my users cannot see that particular app in their Application pool. They can see all other apps though. Just not Owncloud.
All resellers and customers are allowed to install everything from the pool and i selected Owncloud in the Vault already and "made it available" .. Though it is not shown.
Virtual Directory Does Not Inherit Application Pool
Oct 28, 2009I assign separate application pools to the websites created on a IIS 6 server. However, whenever I create a virtual directory in any of the websites, it does not inherit the application pool assigned to the website, but assigns the Default App Pool and it creates a problem since we support all the versions of Dotnet Framework on the server. Is this behavior by design or there is an workaround to this problem?

I understand we can do it through CLI with "client_pref.exe --set-iis-app-pool-settings <login_name> -iis-app-pool-turned-on true", and also through web interface, but is it possible via API? it would be really easier and cleaner.

Feb 1, 2013I have a server setup and running shared hosting perfectly. I duplicated one of the plans and just set it to DEDICATED IP. This is for users that will be requiring SSL.
I then went into my panel settings and added in all the additional ip's. It even says in the panel listing "6 dedicated ip's available".
Yet, when I try to re-run the task for provisioning it constantly fails with the message:
Unable to create hosting. Ip address does not exist in client's pool ....

My question is, whether this is a new procedure change for Plesk 11/12? I believe, I used to see application vault enabled as default in all my other old servers.

Mar 3, 2015I recently updated servers and noticed that Coldfusion 11 is not longer supported by plesk, dissapointing, but I can understand that its not used enough for plesk's attention. OK.
If plesk is going to no longer support it, how can I get it to leave Coldfusion alone and to stop applying permissions to the X:Coldfusion11 folder? If I have to connect Coldfusion to each IIS site, thats no big deal, but just want to make sure that I am safe from plesk breaking things.

Jun 9, 2013I have an issue with Plesk 11. I have a few websites with different subscriptions, each running in a dedicated application pool.The moment I access the website (via browser), the application pool is automatically stopped and 503 Service Unavailable is returned.
After I manually start the application pool, it runs (no stop icon for that app pool in IIIS Manager) until the first attempt to load the website is made.
The users for the respective pools are the ones created by Plesk when subscriptions were created.Details: Pesk Panel 11.0.9 Update #53, IIS8, running on Windows Server 2012.

.Net application is configured by default.
Our Java web application has JSPs and Servlets.
With respect to our Java web application we are able to access the JSPs but any request to Servlet is not hitting the Servlet.
We are able to access either static JSP/HTML pages ONLY. But we need to process Servlet requests also.

Jul 6, 2015I want to know if I altered the specified php.ini for a domain and added the [php-fpm-pool-settings] section, how can I regenerate the pool for that domain?
It would be great to have this section as a textarea in the PHP settings for a Service plan as it would give the basic control to alter some settings that some of us really would like to control them faster and easier.

Windows Application 2003 Crashes On RAID 5 Server, Can I Recover Data
Jun 12, 2007Windows Application 2003 crashed on RAID 5 server, we tried to take the NTFS files from the hardrive and mount them on a knobix which was booted from a cdrom drive. Knopix could read the files but it was unable to mount them I guess for compatiblity reasons.
Is there anyway we can get a backup of that ntfs file and restore our data?

Nov 13, 2014I setup PHP support to Run as FastCGi Application, and i setup the memory_limit=32M in DOMAIN/etc/php.ini, then i create a php program with ini_set('memory_limit','128M'), it does not according to my settings are limited. How can i limit it , only just use the disable_function = 'ini_set' ? or Was there other methods ? Because, When PHP runs as apache module , i can use the php_admin_value in vhost.conf to limit what i want , it does not limit everything like this (disable_function).

I have tried to find the lib with this command:

/usr/lib64/sw/libmysqlserver.so.2
/usr/share/cagefs-skeleton/usr/lib64/sw/libmysqlserver.so.2
I think that the path is incorrect because I have red that it was be /usr/lib64/ and no /usr/lib64/sw/

/usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp11.5.30-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair
to repair the databases. Worked, but give me the error
"Table 'aps_resource' doesn't exist"
One more time, i recover this table from the newest backup existing. But now, give the error " Can not find registry resource for Application ID" for one domain - I have 3 domains, 2 are working, one not.

How do I stop these? They're very annoying and clients receive them too.
