I have a domain that has a ton of alias domains in my panel.
If I get it to show "All" entries per page, change it to "Active List", and get back to "Classic List", they show up correctly.
Nevertheless, I have to do it every single time I log in to the panel.
Pagination also doesn't seem to work in 10, 25 and 100 entries if I don't do that.
That started happening after some update on version 12.

Where do you add a Domain Alias? The webspace has no option to add this and all documentation I've found so far seems to indicate there should be a button that says add domain or add domain alias.
I want to setup a domain alias without www in front of it. A quite simple task in the past...but not with Plesk 12. So I have a service domain (for example: service.com) that I use for ALL clients. But each client has only a subdomain of it as alias in his account. so client1.service.com, client2.service.com....and so on. And only that subdomain...nothing more...for each account. How to achieve that in Plesk 12?

When I activate "Mail" I would think that I now can create a mail address with that domain (myaddress @ domainalias.com). But I can't. If I create a new one I only can choose between the "real" domains. Is this a bug or a feature?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've got a situation in which I need to have a set of mail accounts that share a domain name with a domain that's already in use as a domain alias and because the domain is already in use, I'm unable to create a new account using that domain. I tried explicitly adding "www" to the domain alias so I could keep the www.domain.com address as an alias and reserve the "domain.com" name for use as a separate account, but Plesk won't allow for that.
How to address this? The idea I'm currently considering is to delete the domain alias and then create the new account and manually set the DOCUMENT ROOT of the new account to refer to the other domain's document root. I'm sure this could create some difficulty in Plesk so I'm looking for input before trying it. I'm actually not even sure exactly where I would be able to redefine the document root with Plesk allowing the change and not overwriting it later.
If all else fails, I can setup a new account on a different and unrelated Plesk server, but I'd prefer not to do that.
I think the wrong text is displayed for the option "Remove Domain Alias".
In Plesk 11.5.30 Update #13, in a Webspace, on the Websites & Domains tab, if I click an alias, a window appears for the alias with the option to "Remove Domain Alias". If I move the cursor over the text "Remove Domain Alias", or click on the link, I see a pop-up: Removing this website will also delete all related files, directories, and web applications from the server.
I think this is incorrect because removing an alias should not remove any files, directories, and web applications.
I added a new domain to an existing subscription. I added the domain website as a forward to a domain that has frame forwarding to another domain.
When I go into domains, I can see the domain, but when I open it in control panel, I cannot find the domain.
I need to completely remove it at this point, but can find nowhere to make this happen.
Bandwidth limitation button not showing in domain control panel
I am running Plesk 12.018 on CentOS 6.5. with ~75 domains hosted. All of them are allowed unlimited traffic and have Apache + Nginx installed and configured via Plesk.
Today I need for the first time to set a bandwidth-limitation for a domain, but I can't find a button for controlling it in the domain control panel.
I've checked I've mod_bw installed and have set the permissions for controlling server performance in the custom plan for the specific domain.
I use Plesk 11.0.9 Update #53 on Windows 2008 SP2. Nameservers and mail server are external servers and fully working.I have a 'fake' web site (roundcube. local) in which I've successfully installed roundcube and I would use it as webmail.I've added a domain alias 'webmail2.domain.com' and it works like a charm.Now I've moved the main domain "domain.com" on the plesk server and I would like to add a 'webmail.domain.com' domain alias to the 'roundcube.local' website.If I try to do it, I receive this error:

"Main-domain" domain with 2 "alias-domains" (301-forward). For "Main-domain" I created a wildcard subdomain. All works fine.

I want to create wildcard domains for both "alias-domains".
Problem:
It is not possible to create wildcard subdomains for both "alias-domains".
1. How to create wildcard-subdomains on "alias-domains"?
2. How do I disable Plesk to respond to every domain, which isnt covered by a wildcard?
I have recently migrated from one server with Plesk 11 to another server with Plesk 12 and cant get the alias emails work properly like they worked before the migration. I can send emails from any alias@alias.domain (via Outlook), but cant receive them.I can receive emails only from the mailbox email of the main domain, but not for the alias-email of that mailbox for an alias domain that worked well for Plesk 11. Where might be the problem?
I have created a webmail.domain.tld in the Webmail-Services (where it says Horde 6.2.1 is installed), but the webmail.maindomain.tld is not working. I get displayed only the "webservers default page". We've configured a physical subdomain, lets say sub1.mydomain.com, and set up a couple of aliases for that domain in Plesk under:
Web Server Settings for sub1.mydomain.com > Additional Apache directives > "Additional directives for HTTP"

This config is working fine until we try to load resources from the alias over ssl, I believe something is missing in the Nginx config. I'm not getting any info using the logs.

I have a problem with e-mail management. I have 4 subscriptions and for 3 of them I do not have problem.
For one of them, mail tab not showing. Obviously I check the checkbox "Enable mail management functions in Panel"...
I've installed PHP-FPM into Plesk 12 and it is showing as a running service. However I can't find any way of enabling it per site at all. I'm still just getting the 3 standard PHP options:
Apache module
CGI application
FastCGI application
The documentation states the option would be available on a per-site basis but it isn't.
When copy a database, plesk would copy it but hung at creating the db user, therefore, the database cloning message keeps on showing
Cloning the database xxxxxx to the database xxxxx. You will be notified of the progress by email (xxxxxxx).
*I checked if the database was copied, it showed it did but the user was not created for that newly copied one.
unfortunately plesk was upgrading automatically and something goes wrong.The update is successfully installed but now I can't see all the website images...I'm running this plesk version: Plesk version12.0.18 Update #6, last updated at July 1, 2014 03:24 AM...Is there something that can I do for restoring images?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had an SSL cert that is about to expire so I purchased a new one, installed it, uninstalled the soon to expire cert. Went into Tools and Settings > IP Addresses, and assigned the new certificate to the IP.
Although I deleted the old certificate, it still shows in a browser as well as when I test the domain at a SSL server testing website. The new certificate shows also in both browser and test website, but it is a secondary certificate after the soon-to-expire cert.
How do I get rid of the original certificate?
I was following this tutorial to resolve the 500 internal error I get when I visit webmail.example.com and it says:

I upgraded from 10.4.4 to 11.0.9 and saw no errors in the process, everything was fine. However when I checked the sites after, all of them (including sub-domains) were showing the default domain page. All the files are still there no problem, and as a test I deleted a subdomain a recreated it and it worked fine.
I have a feeling it's something to do with IP addresses (I currently have two set up - most sites use one and about only 5 use the other) as going to the subscription and changing the IP address over to the other one then back to the original seems to make the site show up for most sites. I can't do this on all sites though - any commands to reconfigure everything and get it all back in to place?

I have installed an SSL certificate on my website since last saturday the 1st of May, and forced redirection to https URLs via .htaccess.
Since then, I cannot see any statistics in AWStats. All values stops after the implementation of the certificate. How can I continue to have statistics for my secured web site ?
We installed a new VPS with Centos and Plesk 12.
Domains are simply not showing in the controlpanel. We can see the subscriptions but its empty under the button 'Domains'. Newly created sites as well as migrated sites do not show.
Before we created or migrated a site to the server we changed psa.conf HTTPD_VHOSTS_D /home/httpd/vhosts
This is a legacy from our old servers and never has been a problem. I suppose this is not related, but just thought I should mention it.
The second problem with this server is that when we toggle the mailservice in 'Services management' the button reacts but does not change the state of qmail. It just keeps running. What can be wrong with this fresh installation?
I have a problem with webmail (horde). Horde Webmail show the wrong time, 2 hours to late. It look like that horde show the UTC time, but not the CEST "Europe/Berlin" of my server. I can change that over "preferences" -> "global preferences" -> "locale and time" and change "Your current time zone" from "Default" to "Europe/Berlin". This will now show the correct time (timezone), but this is not the solution because this will do all webmail users.
How can i change the default timezone in Horde?

I just updated my apache and php via easyapache and since doing so, the WWW. alias for all our domains just goes to a cpanel success page

When I hit my server's domain it redirects me to one of the hosted sites' domain with a 302 redirect. It used to return the default plesk server page. How can I cancel the redirect?
