Oct 13, 2008Anyone have any alternative wiresix contact data? I have a ticket open with them marked "urgent" and haven't had a response in over an hour. It should be noted this is very unlike them.

View 3 RepliesI had two servers with wiresix, for the most part support was OK (not the best, but not really bad) and Ryan was responsive to AIM and emails. At one point I no longer needed my dedicated server with them as I had moved everything over to my Colo server. I submitted a ticket to cancel the server (i gave 45 days) and request confirmation from them which I never got. AS the time got closer for that server to go away I started getting longer and longer response times to IM and support. Because of this I felt the need to cancel my colo box and get it shipped to a DC by me as not to be left stranded by a host that didnt care.
I submitted another cancellation request (about 6 weeks in advanced) and again got no response. About this time the dedicated server was supposed to go offline. I got invoiced and charged for it so I opened another ticket asking for a refund for a server that had been canceled. No responses, on anything. Now it comes time for the colo box to be taken offline...
I requested it be taken offline and shipped out a little bit earlier then the actual date. I provided shipping information. I also noted they can use the payment that should have been refunded to cover the shipping costs. This was the first of April. I am borrowing a server from a coworker for my customer who is supposed to be on the colo server. No big deal right, borrow a server for a few days and then move the customer back to the new server...Right?
Wrong. As of this date Ryan still has all my servers online, in the rack and will not even respond to my tickets or AIM. I cant even get in touch with him (or the rest of wiresix) to allow a friend of mine to goto the datacenter and pick up the server. The refund? Who knows... At this point I am convinced Ryan is angered that I am leaving and is hold my colocated server and my payment hostage. I have no other explanation.
I have attached an image file (with some information whited out) with the tickets and the last response times intact. Please I urge everyone DO NOT USE WIRESIX. If you do, do not ever cancel or you will never see your hardware.
At this point, I do not think I have any other choice but to contact my lawyer or the Atlanta Police department for the theft of my hardware.
the matter is kind of important and i dont want to discuss it in this thread, but i could not find a contact e-mail on the website. only phone numbers. so I know eurovps people are on this site, can one of them pm me and we can get in contact?

but if i press refresh it does the job, some of the content inside work but some does and it will give you that text again. Anyone suggest what is the reason for this? My other friend who are hosted with dreamhost are fine but accept me. maybe it's on a differnet server that's why but if my site is down i'm expecting to lose around 300usd .

I've tried the standard postmaster/hostmaster addresses at both domains, with no response/autoresponders, etc. One of the IPs in our servers seems to be blocked, but can't find anywhere how to contact their postmaster.

The problem: I can't receive a new password to the client area (no email is sent from SteadCom after I use 'forgot password' feature), the VDS I had is I suppose suspended and I have no means neither to access the user cpanel to pay/renew, nor to use live talk with support - the link on the site does nothing.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI was along time customer of Hostnetway. And as you may know, they been gone for long time now. Most of my sites were still up on their servers so I stayed hoping they would come back. I lost one site's database somehow. But figured I could rebuild and be ok.
Well they haven't came back. So I moved my sites to new host. But I am still getting billed by hostnetway auto billing. There is no contact avenue open to contact them to cancel.
What shold I do? Do I call my lawyer and have them look into taking this to courts? I refuse to keep paying for a service that mysteriously has no owner, no services, no customer support, and no way out.
Should I contact the host or the registrar if the two are separated?
I've received a lot of blog spam lately where someone seems to have hacked certain setups of Joomla that also have a wordpress blog and then installs landing pages for his spam in the wordpress blog. Granted the person on the other end of my complaint is innocent but I just want the frickin Spam to stop.

My Webhost suddenly does not allow php contact forms! Instead, they expect me to change all forms on 16 sites hosted by them to use a phpFormMail solution they provide. It's a real hassle.

Reason: Mail Server for yahoo.com could not accept your email at this time. MailEnable will keep trying to deliver this message and will notify you of any progress.
After a while, then i could telnet to e.mx.mail.yahoo.com port 25. Sometimes it can't.

I only have sales@layeredtech.com - and even so they promise to forward the request - the latest rip is from yesterday evening and still on the other site.

I am in a very bad situation now.. I did a special agreement with Hostdime's external cpanel seller brand instantcpanel and they don't reply my tickets since 5 days. I am not sure what to do.. I have just purchased a dedicated server running Windows Server 2003 (IIS).
I have a website with a contact form - which I know works because it was working when I had it hosted somewhere else.
My question is how do I set-up my server so that the contact form will work. I know it's something to do with SMTP -- But i honestly have not idea what i am meant to do.
I wish there was a SLOW step-by-step guide on how to setup the SMTP on the server to send emails.!
I cant seem to get in touch with either support/sales on Myriad. Anyone have an alternative email/IM contact for them? Anyone else having trouble contacting them?
