Plesk 12.x / Linux :: Migration No Free IP Addresses Of This Type Available
Jun 17, 2015
get this problem on a completely new installed machine Ubuntu 14.04. I want to migrate and i come only to that point after Checks -
Home>Tools & Settings>Migration & Transfer Manager>
Define IP Addresses Mapping:
Next button is unavailable and i get the message "No free IP addresses of this type available".I tried to upload a new txt file with old and new IP address, but i doesn't get a feedback. So what I can do now?
after i migrate from Plesk 8.6 to Plesk 11.5 some of my Domains have trouble. When I want to open one of the Domain i become this error here: Internal error: Unable to load object of type Account with id=340: Account: unable to select: no such row in the table
In the databases i found some of errors here:
Previous error: Template_Exception: Unable to load object of type Account with id=1080: Account: unable to select: no such row in the table (select `id`, `type`, `password` . from `accounts` . where `id`=1080) file: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/Template/Processor.php line: 27
[code]...
I have already do this here: [URL] .... and reconfigure all my domains again, but the issue dont fix.
Abo with "domain.com" - Hosting Type - Webspace (with E-Mail Services) Subdomain "sub.domain.com" - Hosting Type - Forward
Customer asked us to activate Forward for "domain.com "to other Domain for 2 weeks - but as soon as a Subdomain points on a Domain - I can NOT change the Hosting Type anymore ... WHY???
If I want to change Hosting Type from Hosting to Forward for some weeks - it always deletes the whole Webspace for the Domain ... ?!?
1) Why can't I change Hosting Type when a Sub-Domain is created? 2) Why can't I tell Plesk to change Hosting Type WITHOUT deleting the whole Webspace ...
On a server which was running for years now and was updated from plesk 10 to plesk 11 and also to plesk 12 (12.0.18 Update #29) there seems to be a bug.
Customers are able to change PHP handler while in site_isolation_settings.ini it is not allowed: php_handler_type = fastcgi
PSA service was restarted too: /etc/init.d/psa restart
This is a serious issue because customers should not be able to change PHP handler type.
Only abonnements created with older Plesk versions are affected. I cannot say which version exactly because server had installed Plesk 10, 11 and 12. What do we have to modify to disallow changing the PHP handler type for this abonnements created with Plesk versions befor Plesk 12?
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION when I try to access a domain to make changes, the system gives me this error
Message : Unable to load object of type Account with id = 18: Account: unable to select: no such row in the table file common_func.php3 line 3327 Type PleskFatalException
STEPS TO REPRODUCE In ADMINISTRATION panel, clik DOMAIN -> click on one of 9 domains (only one don’t work)
I have installed Plesk 12.0.18 on my server and want to change the hosting-type from "Forwarding" to "Web hosting". I change the type via "Websites & Domains" view (see attachments).
After I insert username and password, I get following error message:
Some fields are empty or contain an improper value. ('home' = '')
Deleting the domain and creating it from scratch is a bad option. I would have to create all e-mail accounts and migrate the data.
When trying to change the hosting type of a subscription, from website to forwarding or none, that was created before I removed tomcat from the server, I get the error: "Error: tomcatmng failed:".
For subscriptions that where created after I removed the tomcat package (with the updates and upgrades manager/product installer) hosting type changing is no problem.
I'm migrating 11 domains from my old server to my new server, and it's been running now for 3 hours and the progress section shows 100% but it looks like it's still running.
And each time I check the "Domains" section I see a couple of my domains listed but not all of them yet, and the ones I do see the "Disk Usage" on one of my domains that I know is large shows the same figure each time I go to this page; it doesn't seem like it has increased at all.
How can I tell if the migration is still processing or if it has froze and I should restart the migration again?
Since upgrading to 12.0.18 i have picked up a strange problem when creating a new email account. The Mail tab is not displayed and does not allow me to create email accounts, in version 11.5 I also appeared tab. I have reviewed the FAQ and the solution to change tables in the DB does not serve 11.5 (I understand that by varying the field names and values in 12.0.18).
We successfully migrated web and email from a Plesk 9.3 system to the new Plesk 12.0 system. Afterwards i try to install new extensions and / or try to delete existing extensions and receive the following error:
Die Erweiterung Webserver Configurations Troubleshooter kann nicht entfernt werden: crontabmng failed: /usr/bin/crontab execution failed: "crontabViWP46":11: bad command errors in crontab file, can't install. System error: crontab execution error
Means that i am not able to delete the extension "Webserver Configurations Troubleshooter". But the extension is delete (but not completelly - only a checkbox is shown without entry).
Is something comes with a config of the old server? All works proper until migration.
We have a problem migrating from 11.0.9 to a different server running 12.0.18. Our Plesk 11 server is running great since years ago. We have 3 resellers there, say reseller1 with 17 domains, reseller2 with 13 domains and reseller3 with 250 domains.
First, we executed a complete server migration with: /usr/local/psa/bin/migrate -m -host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -password xxxxxx -ip-mapping /root/migration-mapping.txt -skip-license -replace-existing-objects true
The process ran properly, but in the end we've found reseller1 and reseller2 were NOT migrated. No errors were reported tho.
While investigating this issue we have found:
1) "/usr/local/psa/bin/migrate --list-resellers" returns only reseller3. So it looks like reseller1 and reseller2 are not "seen" by the migrate utility.
2) /usr/local/psa/bin/migrate -mr reseller1 returns: Migration started at: 2015-06-03 04:21:11 The following clients not exist: reseller1
3) /usr/local/psa/bin/migrate --list-subscriptions returns the 250 subscriptions of reseller3, but no single mention to reseller1 and reseller2 subscriptions.
In short, reseller1 and reseller2 are invisible for the migration utility. Both missing resellers are ok, enabled and active in our Plesk 11 server.
We are now stuck on the migration process and wondering if this could be a bug in the migrate utility? or some inconsistence in our Plesk 11?
I had a old virtual Server with Ubuntu+Plesk12. I build a new dedicated Server with CentOS6+Plesk12 and migrate all Domains. Now i have a strange problem:
When i upload a file with FTP-User "user1", the file has the permissions Group=psacln & Owner=user1. All is fine, i can see and edit this file in a FTP-Program. But when my website create a file (cache html files or installed plugin folders in wordpress), I can't see, can't edit and can't download this files.
When i login to plesk with the admin account, i can see and edit this files. They have also Group=psacln & Owner=user1 and i can give them 0666 rights but when i login with FTP-User "user1" with my FTP-Program, I didn't see that files?!
Just went through a migration and everything appeared to go pretty smooth, but we figured out there was an issue with symbolic links.
A site on an old server running plesk 12 had symbolic links in it. When the site is Migrated through the plesk migration tool, the symbolic links aren't preserved on the new server.
I have recently migrated to new server with Plesk 12. There was a webalizer even I used to have awstat. So I installed awstat and changed it in the settings. But every day when I synchronized the abonnement it changed alone back to Webalizer ... which I dont want
When I tried to deactivate or deinstall Webalizer in plesk using the update manager, I got an error:
"Some errors occured during installation."
Solved, changed settings in Customer Service Plan and synchronized...
After migrating to a new server and also from plesk 11 to 12 i've got two watchdog errors:
/bin/sh: /usr/local/psa/libexec/modules/watchdog/cp/clean-events: No such file or directory /bin/sh: /usr/local/psa/libexec/modules/watchdog/cp/pack-sysstats: No such file or directory
Both files dont exist. Is it save to delete the scheduled taks or should those tasks exist?
I am setting up a new server and started to migrate domains from an 11.x plesk server to this new server with plesk 12.x on it. Everything works fine, domains, users, mailboxes, everything is migrated - except the horde settings inside the webmail. I recognized this after my first login into webmail, normally the inbox is shown (I configured my webmaoil this way) but after the migration this setting is lost - including all other settings. How to migrate this settings?
We have created symlinks, modified some configuration files (Plesk included) and ran domains reconfiguration script (zero domain installed, but just in case the script will do anything else).
After that, we have launched Plesk Migration Wizard (from Plesk 9 to last release).
Everything has worked fine: all domains have been migrated on our new folders (/opt based) and owners has been correctly defined for each domain. The same for MySQL and all mail accounts.
We have checked Apache VirtualHost configured by Plesk Migration Wizard : our new folders are used (/opt).
So all seems to be ok.
But now, all websites (configured with Apache and Apache PHP module) returns 403 Forbidden error.
We have try changing to FastCGI with Apache same error.
We have try changing to full Nginx (PHP and static files), some websites run.
We have checked some KB (112884, 800) but all seems to be good.
Is there any steps we have omitted when we move folders ?
I've got a problem to migrate A user from one server to another.
I tried to use the migration manager, but if I start the migration manager the migration will be started but after 2 seconds it has finished and no migration has be doen.
Recently I migrated my server from CentOs 5 to CentOS 6.4, while using the migration manager from plesk 11.0.9 (the migration was between the same plesk version).
I used rsync first, which caused some trouble, but without it, the migration process worked fine.
Unfortunately, if I create new domains now, they won't get any domainkey DNS entries anymore and under /etc/domainkeys no keys are created for the new domains.
Nothing I tried did work so far, which was resetting the DNS template, turning on and off the domainkeys setting, nor did calling "/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam" resolve the problem.
For the existing domains, domainkeys work fine, but I can't find any errors how I can fix my plesk installation to generate domainkeys for new domains.
Yesterday I migrated a domain with the migration tool from a Debian 7.6 Plesk 12.0.18 MU35 box to a Debian 7.6 Plesk 12.0.18 MU35 box
This domain have a simple DNS configuration. The A registry for the domain.com was an own IP instead the IP of the server. Rest of the DNS configuration was the same.
After migration the A registry for the domain.com was an own IP too (as expected) but also the A registry for mail.domain.com
Before migration, in the old server:
A domain.com x.x.x.x (own ip) A mail.domain.com y.y.y.y (server ip)
After migration, in the new server:
A domain.com x.x.x.x A mail.domain.com x.x.x.x
The migration had changed the IP for mail.domain.com for the IP of the A registry for domain.com
Very strange. I double-checked it (as the domain in the "old" server was suspended)
Client don´t have access to the control panel, so no changes done.
I'm getting following errors while migrating my accounts from latest version of cPanel:
Code: Warning:
Couldn't get 'cgi_bin_mode' attribute for domain where cgi-bin dir is '' and docroot dir is '/home/inofash/public_html'. Domain will be migrated in that way as if its cgi-bin directory was located under docroot.
Because of that none of my accounts can't be migrated.
I have recently migrated from one server with Plesk 11 to another server with Plesk 12 and cant get the alias emails work properly like they worked before the migration. I can send emails from any alias@alias.domain (via Outlook), but cant receive them.I can receive emails only from the mailbox email of the main domain, but not for the alias-email of that mailbox for an alias domain that worked well for Plesk 11. Where might be the problem?
I have created a webmail.domain.tld in the Webmail-Services (where it says Horde 6.2.1 is installed), but the webmail.maindomain.tld is not working. I get displayed only the "webservers default page". Webmail.maindomain.tld worked well in Plesk 11.There is also no "Webmail" link in the domain control pannel like it used to be in the Plesk 11.I have created a new abonnement with a new domain to test this, but there is no Webmail link for this abonnement as well.
You message for <alias@alias.tld> from 2014/11/17 could not be delivered. 4.0.0 smtp; 454 4.7.1 <alias@alias.tld>: Relay access denied
I have a Problem with my VHosts on one of two IP addresses. One IP is dedicated and works well
The other IP is shared. Since two days every call to one of the websites of this share ip goes to the Plesk Default Website. I tried to reconfigure single sites and all sites (/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all), nothing works and restarting apache shows some warnings.
apache2ctl -S shows the following lines:
Code:
[Mon Dec 01 19:56:08 2014] [warn] VirtualHost 85.214.41.141:7080 overlaps with VirtualHost 85.214.41.141:7080, the first has precedence, perhaps you need a NameVirtualHost directive [Mon Dec 01 19:56:08 2014] [warn] VirtualHost 85.214.41.141:7081 overlaps with VirtualHost 85.214.41.141:7081, the first has precedence, perhaps you need a NameVirtualHost directive

In an other thread I found a possible solution for the overlapping vhosts. The problem there seems to be a missing ssl-certificate and that matches with the situation on my server. After copying any other certificate-file as the one with the missing filename the apache starts without any warnings, but after that all websites (the sites from the dedicated ip too) only shows the apache default site ("it works"). I Tried to reconfigure single sites and all sites (/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all), nothing works.
The server is hosted by STRATO, so there are daily backups. I turned back one week (the problem exists since two days). Then for some hours all works fine but suddenly all the sites on the ip 85.214.41.141 get broken again and shows only plesks default page.
