View 8 RepliesFor some reason one of my customers email accounts seems to have been hacked. My admin account continues to say that the customer has reach over the 30 emails per hour limit. This is the email error:

So far it has sent over 5,000 attempted in the past few hours. The customer used gmail to send from domain before, so I've changed their gmail email password. I've also changed the main email password, and the plesk username and password login for the customer. It still continues
I am trying to transfer a subscription to another customer but it fails with this error message...
this subscription requires more resources than can be provided by the new owner's provider
I can't find any limits for a customer so I don't know why it won't transfer. This is plesk 12.
Is there a limit somewhere as to how many subscriptions a customer can have?
unfortunately I can not move a customer to another reseller, because of this error:

which means "Some of the selected customers could not be moved to **** ***. The selected reseller does not have permission to configure DNS-Zones, but some of the customers do."Well, the customer does not have this permission, because no DNS-service is installed on the server.If I check the customer's permissions there is no point "DNS configuration" or something like that.
Came across an answer within google, but wanted to make sure I have an updated tutorial to prevent crashing the mysql and or server as others did.
How can we reset all customer account passwords at once, whether it be a preset one and or random?
Not sure if all notifications are working or not but I do know that when I create a new customer with a new subscription no notification is received. I have tested with several email addresses.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI use whmcs to bill my cusotmers. when a account is created, plesk sends mail from admin email and name to customer as below,
A new domain name has been created.
Domain name: xxx.xxx
Domain name owner: xxxx xxxxx
IP address associated with the domain name: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
How can I disable it ? it ends up in spam and I just don't want customers to receive it.
Getting this error on the customer, domain and subscriptions pages on Plesk 11.5 update 5.

We are looking for a solution to support multible IP's for different domains in one subscription/cusomer Account. Current, we have 4 IP's as shared. the Customer can choose under "Web Hosting Access" , which IP he wants to use.
This setting effect all domains in his Account. So it is not possible to set domain1.tld to e.g. IP 1.1.1.1 and domain2.tld e.g. to 2.2.2.2
We like to offer the cusomers one cusomer account with multible IP's
I have just moved away from Kloxo Hosting, and I am a bit confused as to how I go about setting Client domains to use the (Already Registered) Nameserver Records I have created on the server.
You see, when I create a customer, the template adds the domain with it's own nameservers, ex: (ns.customerdomain.com -> 0.0.0.0) I don't want this to be the case.
What I would like to achieve, is for all my client's to have their NS records pointing at the NS records I already have registered on the server.
The reason for this is, when I submit the registration document to my local registrar, I have to specify the nameserver address for the domain, however, I only have 2 IP's on the server. I cannot glue every customer's domain FQDN to an IP.
I am facing the following issue: Web Presence Builder icon is missing from Customer Control Panel.
I tried to apply the following solution from the knowledge base: [URL] ...., however I ended at step 2, because there is no "Sites published with Web Presence Builder" parameter in any of my Service Plans.
I am running plesk Panel 11.5.30 instead of 10.x. and step 1 tells me the parameter "Sites published with Web Presence Builder" equals 10.
I'm having difficulty sending an email to another email address (with a different domain) which is on the same VPS.The trouble is, on the other domain's VPS control panel, within the DNS settings, the MX records have been pointed externally (to an exchange server). Their email is turned off. But bizarrely, their mailbox is full.
It seems as though Plesk is ignoring the MX records, and sending MY email internally to the OTHER domain's mailbox on the same VPS.How do I get Plesk to send my mail to the correct EXTERNAL MX records?

Basically I am trying to configure Plesk to send out email without being black listed. My emails are safe but I am currently blacklisted due to my set up.I have Plesk 12.0.18 and am using Qmail. The problem is I have one ip address right now and am using it for multiple domains. This is not ideal but was an issue with 1and1 not rendering ips at the time. I am not sure how to do reverse mapping with multiple domains on a single ip address.
Because my current ip address just got black listed is it possible to get 2 more ip addresses just for email and use those 2 for 2 domains so each domain would have a separate ip address? How would I set this up to be email safe meeting the spam requirements? spf, reverse mapping, etc?

Minutes after this microupdate auto-installed, I am unable to login to POP and IMAP on this server. None of the accounts are able to login. The logs indicate hundreds of login failures, accompanying a new record I've never seen in these logs:

Unfortunately, I can't find anything about what MU#62 actually included. The changelog only indicates up to MU#61, so I'm very concerned:URL....
I've googled the specific error I'm seeing above, but nothing appears to be remotely related to this problem.Is it possible to roll back the MU to determine if that is in fact the problem?

If i go to webmail.pedjaapps.net i opens default home page, webmail subdomain points to my servers ip address in DNS, roundcube is also enabled in webmails....
Since upgrading to 12.0.18 Update #5 i have picked up a strange problem when creating a new email account.
When I try setup and new email account on any domain, I get teh following error message.

Error: mailmng-outgoing failed: ERROR:outgoing:mails.domain_id may not be NULL
If i click OK, I get the following error message
The specified email address is already in use.
I have to click cancel to return to the email address list, which shows the new email address with NO mailbox.
I then have to open the email address and check the Mailbox option to activate it.
Now the email account is configured correctly.
I have an individual that has moved there "sent box" to the deleted items and yes, has deleted them.
I have not used the restoration feature of plesk so i have a couple of questions before proceeding.
1. Can I restore a specific mail box folder "sent items"
2. If so will it overwrite all the items and only restore whats on the backup, because he has only just noticed and he has about 500 emails from the point he deleted it? or will it merge the items - e.g the 500 he has now + all the others from the back up.
3. If i cant restore a specific folder, does it overwrite all of the current mail from the backup.
I've just upgraded from Plesk 11.something to 12.0.18 on Centos 6. And I've seen that Horde has stopped displaying HTML email again. editing psa-horde/imp/config/mime_drivers.php. I've made that same fix on my new Horde installation, but it doesn't seem to have worked this time. Is there anything different that I need to do on this version of Horde?

I am having an issue with one domain hosted on my server getting 100's of duplicates from certain domains. My MagicSpam logs show that the email is sent to my server anywhere from every 15 minutes to 1 hour. It started out as one domain sender to my server to my client, now it is happening to a bunch of sending domains.

I'm running Parallels Plesk 12 on Debian GNU/Linux 7.6...I have a valid certificate for my mail server : mail.mydomain.tld but I don't find the place in Plesk 12 to put it.

emails handled with imap after a few minutes are automatically marked as read!
Domain abc.com is hosted on our server, it has a hosted e-mail 123@abc.com. This e-mail adress keeps getting SPAM messages from an address abc@srv2.xyz.com (where srv2.xyz.com is our server FQDN). What we understood by reading the headers (posted below) is that someone is sending an e-mail to support@abc.com. This e-mail adress, as configured in Plesk, redirects e-mails to 123@abc.com. But we don't understand how someone managed to send an e-mail from an unexistent abc@srv2.xyz.com to it.
Here are the headers:

I am having trouble with setting up an email account to set up the email I go to Mail > Create Email Address > and enter email address (info@example.com) and check the "access to control panel" and create a password and also check "mailbox" .
But in the email client, when I go to use SMTP and I enter the following info:
- SMTP Server: example.com
- username: info@example.com
- password: password I created above
- port 25
- user TLS
I get this error: Your other email provider is responding too slowly. Please try again later, or contact the administrator of your other domain for further information.
I just got a vps server with plesk 12 on it. I've added domains and so far so good. But I can't figure out how to install the email accounts.
I've made de email accounts and when adding these accounts to my mail program I wanted to use mail.domain.com or imap.domain.com But it doesn't work? And I need to use the smtp host of the internetprovider?
How can I use imap.domain.com and smtp.domain.com to get and send my emails?
Also Is there any way how to check if my server is installed ok and there are no security issues? Because I'm a noob I don't know what the best settings are?
