I'm using Plesk on one of my webhosts (GoDaddy) and would like to know if anyone knows of a good Cpanel Fantastico-like option that allows you to update a string of sites with the latest updates. I'm more familiar with Cpanel.
After I post my desired subdomain as mysubdomain.domain.com on /mysubdomain.domain.com/
I get "Error: phpinimng failed: Usage: phpinimng [options] [php_ini_file] phpinimng: error: no such option: --global-config" on main window.
Tried to search how to fix this error, i managed to find that there is also " missing or incorrect /usr/local/sb/include/init.php ". As for this error this doesn't work [URL] .... It's already correct permission 755.
The subdomain appears only in DNS records on my domain. But not in the main plesk panel window.
OS is Debian 7.6 and Plesk 11.5, mysql runs over sock
Maybe I could create manual configuration over ssh in /var/www/vhost/ dir ..?
I have installed mail servers in components, and i see mail settings under server tab but i just cant figure out how to enable mail for specific domain
If i go to webmail.pedjaapps.net i opens default home page, webmail subdomain points to my servers ip address in DNS, roundcube is also enabled in webmails....
I made plans with the option of "dedicated pool" but the plesk INSISTS create the account and shared pool in most cases. Only a few dedicated it creates.
I'm using on virtual machine the last version of PLESK 11.5.3 update #42 and UBUNTU 12.04.4 LTS provide by a main Italian ISP, the MySQL version is 5.5.35-0ubuntu0.12.04.2.I'm trying to enable the local-infile option in the /etc/mysql/my.cnf file:
[client] local-infile = 1
[mysqld] local-infile = 1
When I'm restarting mysql service (with command "service mysql restart") the PHP script works correctly and "SHOW GLOBAL VARIABLES" results "ON", but when server reboot or some hours by the restart the PHP script return to not work correctly and appear the standard messagge: "The used command is not allowed with this MySQL version".Maybe the problem is the start of mysql on boot? I haven't any errors in the mysql or system log!!
We are facing issue with option " Switch on limitations on outgoing email messages", after the plesk upgrade to 12.0.18. Please find our license details

I have a repository backup that I want to partially restore. I see the option "Selected Objects" but it cannot be selected. I'm wondering why that is not an option? I'm also wondering what "restore this backup despite the fact that it does not have a valid signature" means. I see a check box. Is Plesk telling me my backup doesn't have a valid signature? What is the meaning of a "signature"?
I've encountered a curious problem. Fresh install of Plesk 11 on a Windows 2008 R2 Server. If I want to configure FTP-Accounts under "Domain&Mail" the option is missing entirely. The Server is running an FTP Server and I can connect via FTP to some parts with some users I have created in Plesk. I've scrounged the internet for information about what might be going on here but came up empty.
There is no option to configure FTP Accounts or anything FTP in Plesk. There is empty space where the link should be.
I want to migrate a Plesk 9 tot a Plesk 11.5 server. The new server runs CentOs 6.5, but everyone talks about a checkbox with Rsync option and I also see this at pictures at the internet. But in my Plesk panel this option is missing.
I have formatted my server and tried to install PLESK 11.5 (I have my license every thing). But after I start to install with current AutoInstaller there is only PLESK 12 to be chosen.
How can I install my PLESK 11.5 BACK with Current AutoInstall? Is there anyway to have an option to install 11.5 in the Installation Selection?
When I set up spamassassin to store spam in the spam folder of my mailbox, it doesn't add any X-Sapm headers nor tags the subject. All I found so far was an old thread where a plesk employee stated that it will be fixed in 'a' future version.
Ok well I am considering adding Installatron to the selection for my VPS clients, and was woundering what people thought of Installatron vs. Fantastico, and if you are a VPS provider, how many would go with installatron over Fantastico?
I recently had Fantastico update issues, my fantistico was giving me errors such as "This feature is currently not availabel, please contact your host." lol
I tried lodging a CRON job to do the update ...but waited 72 hours and nothing ! lol
Later i found our that the Fantastico licensing server was down for a while lol
I don't know how it got broken, it was working a couple days ago. When users click the fantastico icon in their cpanels, a page opens that says this:
Fantastico is not installed at the default location /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico. Either move the Fantastico directory from it's current location to /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico OR enable ioncube loaders in WHM -> Tweak settings.
I enabled the ioncube loaders and that didn't fix it. So then I reinstalled fantastico and it's still broken.
I've heard of Fantastico and have seen it in CPanel with my almost-host (not my personal site...yet) MDDHosting (good hst by the way). However the guy from Aquarius Storage mentioned Installatron. Seems like a good deal for long-term hosts since they offer a lifetime membership...provided the hosts keep their server around for a few years...but other than that what are the pros and conds of each platform? Why do you guys (by which I mean the hosts who frequent this board) use what you do?
Want to order a VPS. Not sure whether to include the option of Fantastico/Xcontroller which can be installed along the cPanel. My question is will Fantastico/Xcontroller option by itself use up some of my valuable RAM and if yes how much?
..and their site appears to be fubared...can't get into forums or support ticket area. Been trying for two days to install Fantastico on two cpanel servers...
I just got the coded files of my blog but since the coder was busy I went ahead and installed wordpress through Fantastico.
But I have heard that installations through Fantastico is not considered good because sometime it just messes up the database tables and other things. That's why it is recommended to install softwares manually.
Is it correct or just a misconception?
I am confused because now a days every hosting company offers Fantastico, if it was very bad no one would be offering it.
I have a server with CentOS, Fantastico, and RvSkins. I have a user that for some reason, Fantastico does not show up in there control panel, which is a RvSkins theme. Does anybody have any ideas on how to get RvSkins to show Fantastico's icon in the Cpanel?
