We can't able to create new domain. its taking too long . given no result.
When we refresh the page the domain shows in plesk but its not showing in IIS7.
I have this message when i try to restore 3 different big backup >7 GB
I have the same message if i try to copy the backup in FTP repository to the repository on the server
"This operation is taking too long. Check the results in a few minutes"
If i go back few minute or hour ... i have nothing No more message... No Error and no restore !

I try to create a TXT registry DNS using this:
default._domainkey.my-domain.com
_domainkey.my-domain.com
All work , but in Domain Alias, cannot create any registry TXT wih symbols like '_'
I am using Web admin edition .I need to create two subdomains namely sub1.example.com and sub2.example.com with different IP address. So i need to create two webspaces since a webspace cannot have two domians pointing to two different IP. So now to I can create two webspaces set to different IP. But to create sub1.example.com in one webspace and sub2.example.com in another webspace , i need main domain example.com in both the workspace. But if try to create example.com in second webspace it already exists.Because it exists in another webspace. Actually i dont want to create example.com in both webspace. i need to its subdomain in different webspace.
So one solution is to create example.com and sub1.example.com in one webspace and create another webspace using Adding new webspace and specifying domain name as sub2.example.com. But i don't know does the second subdomain will work properly without creating main domain.
My Plesk Panel version 11.0.9 on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 with mail Server : IceWarp Server 10.2.2
And my subscriptions had 2 domains : matbaocare.com (main domain) & matbaocare.net (second domain).
When I create E-mail Address , by default I can choose several domain on my account with @matbaocare.com or @matbaocare.net.
But I don't want to create E-mail with second domain, just main domain can use email !
How to config Plesk to auto disable create E-mail with several domain on account?
It's been a while since I've made a backup in HyperVM but in the past I've had no problems. I decided to make a new one after so long, but when I did I got the error "no permission to make back up []". I contacted my provider to fix it, but it's been almost 24 hours and they still haven't gotten anywhere it seems. They even asked for my DA login information which I don't think is needed to fix the problem but I provided it anyways.
My question is, is this problem really that hard to fix? How would one fix it? Maybe I can just tell the provider how to fix it so I can get this done ASAP and then I can get back to using my VPS.
the error log shows nothing out of the ordinary.. but its taking about 2-3 minutes to start.. which before it would take about 10 seconds.
load is fine on the machine, free mem is fine also.
In plesk 11 with os windows 2012 when i try to create any new subscription i get following error:

what should i do? this problem happen suddenly without any changes by us.
Problem:
- I make changes to the PHP settings but they don't seem to take effect. I even had tried making the changes in the php.ini file, but some of the changes here don't take effect either. I have found similiar posts, but resolutions that work. I have restarted the IIS service after the changes, but this did not change the results I see in phpinfo();.
Examples of Changes Not Taking Effect:
- I changed "error_log" in PHP Settings. phpinfo showed no value for error_log. I changed error_log in php.ini and the change took effect for both local and global.
- memory_limit is set to 128M in php.ini. It shows as 32M for local and 128M for global with phpinfo(). No matter what I change this to (some value, "-1", default) in 'PHP Settings', the value does not change for local.
- The same problem with 'memory_limit' also occurs for post_max_size.
- PHP 5.2 and 5.4 are installed. If I change the version under the 'General' tab, it stays as 5.2.17 in phpinfo().
- I have changed the error_log setting in php.ini and 'PHP Settings', but still nothing is logged in the error_log file with safe_mode on or off (set to local directory). There is a note out there saying that with PHP 5.2, safe_mode on will not write to file.
- I have performed IIS Restarts, but this did not make any settings take effect.
- I also have tried changing PHP settings under the 'general' and "PHP Settings' tab, both under the website area and the advanced options->Website Scripting and Security. So the 'website' settings would be specific for the website and under 'Website Scripting and Security' would be for the webspace. Changing in either location does not make a difference.
Other Note
- I discovered this, because a client was getting a 501 when performing a post, which also sent an email. If he attached a file larger than 7MB to his form, the code would fail with a 501 error. After investigating, the "To" field was blank if a person attached a file larger than 7MB. Defnitely seems to be a memory issue. But since no log file, nor will my settings take effect, I have not been able to resolve this.

I have installed mail servers in components, and i see mail settings under server tab but i just cant figure out how to enable mail for specific domain
If i go to webmail.pedjaapps.net i opens default home page, webmail subdomain points to my servers ip address in DNS, roundcube is also enabled in webmails....
I made plans with the option of "dedicated pool" but the plesk INSISTS create the account and shared pool in most cases. Only a few dedicated it creates.

I've encountered a curious problem. Fresh install of Plesk 11 on a Windows 2008 R2 Server. If I want to configure FTP-Accounts under "Domain&Mail" the option is missing entirely. The Server is running an FTP Server and I can connect via FTP to some parts with some users I have created in Plesk. I've scrounged the internet for information about what might be going on here but came up empty.
There is no option to configure FTP Accounts or anything FTP in Plesk. There is empty space where the link should be.
I installed Plesk 12 on server, and deployed several websites.
If I tried to open ASP.NET Settings on websites & domains of any domain, I've got error:

I am using the following mod_rewrite rule for shortened SEO friendly links: RewriteRule ^blog/([^/]*).html$ /blog/blog.php?pid=$1 [R=301,L]
For Google SEO reasons, will the shortened rewritten link created from above be the permanent link, from the R=301? Even though the longer link is still functional? Or, do I need to create a rewrite match 301 rule to push the long URL to the shortened URL permanently?
How I create DNS in Plesk for a domain?

There is some problem with my email and developer tell me this yesterday:
To view DNS records for a domain you need to (after loging in as admin) click on the domain name, then choose DNS Settings. Mx record is configured correctly there, but they are not taken into consideration.
You should change the nameservers from the registrar to the nameservers of your hosting. Right now the following are used: ns-canada.topdns.com. hostmaster.topdns.com .
They should be either the nameservers received from the hostings, or if you did not received any then you will have to create them, on the registrar side and on your hosting side.
So you should go to your registrar and change the nameservers for your domain. Do not just change the ip for the main A record. After you do this you will need to wait a while for the changes to propagate.
On my registrar have i set in my server ip but when him do a test here: [URL] ....

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a dedicated server here in the UK with fasthosts (win 2008 server, IIS 7), which which has been running fine for nearly a year. it was running plesk 9.2, and then out of the blue it got errors creating a new domain saying that PHP wasn't installed.
PHP was/is installed on the server, and is still running fine within my 12+ domains/websites. at the point of the error it was running 5.3.8 - i had manually upgraded the version outside of Plesk, but it had seen the new version when installing new domains.
When Plesk stopped seeing that PHP was installed, my hosts asked me to upgrade Plesk, as it would solve the issue. I used that ai.exe program, and choose v11.
The control panel installed OK - but I did lose my websites for a while, due to it downgrading my PHP to v5.2, and installing an older MySQL version which tried to use the same ports etc (I also have manually installed mysql v5.5 and have 1gig databases in that installation!).
After chosing the upgrade to 5.3 option in the Plesk control panel, and turning the Plesk installed Mysql v5.1 service off and to disabled in windows services - 'revealing' my 5.5 version, I could at least get my websites up and running once again!
Once all those were running (the priority), I have found that v11 Plesk has the same problem as v9.2, namely that it doesn't think that PHP is installed and available.
The error on installing a new domain;
Error: Failed domain creation: Unable to update domain data: Execute websrvmng --add-domain "--domain-name=testkrispy.co.uk" failed with error code 1: PHP 5 is not installed
Oddly it does see PHP 5.3.15 in the Service components screen, and it's ticked 'green' in that page, so all looks well.
On trying to install a new domain using plesk I get this;
And also on pages such as webmail - it also shows 'PHP not installed' against those webmail clients which would need PHP to run.
Any way to 'force' Plesk to see that the PHP 5.3.15 version that it itself installed (and I've removed the component and re-installed using Plesk).

I've tried something found on this forum (under the 10.4 area), but that hasn't fixed it;
"C:ParallelsInstallerparallelsPANEL-WIN_11.0.9dist-msi-Microsoft-2003-i386php53.msi" you will have an option for "repair" - ran that, no difference.
So as it stands, Plesk 11 is running, and most functions work, it just doesn't recognise the PHP install that it put in place... so I can't add software which requires PHP through Plesk, nor add new domains. All existing domains are running and using PHP fine - so it's installed OK.
One error I've noticed on startup - within the PHP error log, is the following - which I'm guessing is coming from the Plesk's own PHP executable (I can see it uses a 5.3.10 version in it's own admin area, with an extended php.ini file? ) I'm guessing the plesk's php.ini extension is trying to double load some dlls (which isn't a problem?) but seems to not find the php_sockets.dll - although that file is in the directory specified!? If it's a php dll around network sockets, maybe it is trying to use those to communicate with a running php instance? (Just guessing here?)

The SMTP connector has only 1 outbound email in the queue.
I've tired running the Plesk fix permissions and verify database on Mail without resolving this issue.
How can I remove all previous web users, even after an uninstall, I am having trouble finishing a new installation, during the wizard because users already exist.

No matter what I do (updating settings, saving, etc.), the error keeps coming back. Seems like a database inconsistency. How can I access the Plesk DB through PhpMyAdmin to check the notifications table? When I go to Settings > Database servers > Local MySQL server > Webadmin, I only see my customers' databases.
