I'd like to know if it's possible with Plesk 12 to block a given domain as destination of emails.
For example: imagine I want some customers not to be able to send emails to addresses in the domain "@parallels.com".
I use Postfix for outgoing mails.
I was wondering how to change the notification destination email for alerts sent by Plesk Health Monitor?
I tried to modify the XML configuration file with this at the beginning:

<notificationEmail address="mydestinationemail@domain.com"/>
</Misc>
But it doesn't work.

I have a domain bbb.com
I create a subdomain a.bbb.com
I wanted to point my domain to a.bbb.com under a different ip my server. So I went in the parent zone bbb.com order to change the ip of this subdomain. After 48h nothing worked ...
There are 24 I changed the area to tell Plesk subdomain manages its own area, and I changed all the IP for the new, but nothing happens again, I'm afraid it is not that ...
Or how to check whether the implementation is consistent?

I have installed mail servers in components, and i see mail settings under server tab but i just cant figure out how to enable mail for specific domain
If i go to webmail.pedjaapps.net i opens default home page, webmail subdomain points to my servers ip address in DNS, roundcube is also enabled in webmails....
I am skeptical of running mchk on my server and messing something up. I am having an issue with one domain hosted on my server getting 100's of duplicates from certain domains. My MagicSpam logs show that the email is sent to my server anywhere from every 15 minutes to 1 hour. It started out as one domain sender to my server to my client, now it is happening to a bunch of sending domains.

Seems if I want to back up a domain's emails to a remote server (3x a week) I might be able to accomplish that with a Scheduled Task / Cronjob? I have a weekly full domain backup from the Plesk scheduled backup. But I can only set one backup per client. So I'd like to backup email separately, several times a week.
I found this:
# /usr/local/psa/bin/pleskbackup –domains-name yourdomain.com –only-mail -v
But I'm looking to send to a remote FTP repository. Can it be done with "Scheduled Task"?
I have upgraded to a new server and need to move all domains, users, and most important all email accounts to the new server.
Both servers run Plesk 11.0.9 on CentOS. The migration manager works great, no problems with that.
After migrating, I change my DNS settings at an external DNS provider to the new IP. The problem is, DNS changes take time. I then get emails on the old server and on the new server until DNS information is spread.
I was searching for a way to let the old server forward to the new one, but changes for specific domains in plesks DNS system (MX record) on the old server did not work. The mails still arrived at the old server.
What can i do? Can I uncheck "Activate mail service on domain" and will all emails be rejected until DNS points to the new server? Or will that lead to bounces?
We seem to be getting 3 copies of all email notifications whenever an account is created, it seemed to happen after a server transfer but I can't see anywhere that is set up as a duplicate.

Have Plesk 12 in Centos...all working fine...but I have assigned dedicated IP for one domain, have request certificate (as admin) for this domain, purchase certificate in Comodo and installed...this certificate working fine and SSL Checker is good...problem is in domain how have assigned this certificate in menu SSL not appear...
I have only Default Certificate (certificate Plesk self signed) and Not Selected...but name for real certificate CA not appear...in Admin IP Address have all ok...IP for this domain and certificate (name of certificate installed) and website.... With this problem is normal? How configure SSL for email?
I am currently running a trail of plex to see if it meets our requirements.
My domains are currently being hosted by an external provider and I have made the dns entry to point it the the server running plesk.
Now we can access the site created through plesk but the emails are not working not the webmail or even trying to forward the mails.

I am at a loss, I don't know what else to try.
I use a spam protection service. It works as following : -My DNS are configured to point to a server (sever A) which is configured to filter spams. -If an email is not a spam, the first server send it to my mail server (server B).
But some spammers found a way to bypass the protection : They send directly their email to my mail server (server A). So, i want to allow only emails coming from the server A IP.
I am currently running a virtual server, and over the past couple days have had a number of brute attacks from Chinese and Indian based IP's which have been marked in my logs and trying to break in, this has pulled my websites down with the server load.
I am trying to, in the Firewall settings, add the IP's to a block list, however am unable to see where this can be configured.
Is that possible to block baidu without specifying whole list of IDs it's using ?

I've seen a number of exploit attemps on the default website which I believe has come via direct access via ip address i.e http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.I have tried to block with .htacess but it seems to be being ignore (possibly by parallels or nginx configuration).how I can block access to the default site to all but 127.0.0.1, server external ip and my ip?

The FTP client connect to my server, but listing content times out. After allow other traffic the content get listed. The rule "Allow FTP connections" ist in all enabled all the time.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having difficulty sending an email to another email address (with a different domain) which is on the same VPS.The trouble is, on the other domain's VPS control panel, within the DNS settings, the MX records have been pointed externally (to an exchange server). Their email is turned off. But bizarrely, their mailbox is full.
It seems as though Plesk is ignoring the MX records, and sending MY email internally to the OTHER domain's mailbox on the same VPS.How do I get Plesk to send my mail to the correct EXTERNAL MX records?
When I hit my server's domain it redirects me to one of the hosted sites' domain with a 302 redirect. It used to return the default plesk server page. How can I cancel the redirect?

The client is hosting email externally - the offered spam filtering is wholely inadequate and we're seeing a few of these happening - to the point I'm considering offering externally hosted email plans anyway - but back to the problem - I need to delete the mailboxes and then disable mail - and then remove the DNS records for webmail etc - but can't seem to find how to turn off locally hosted email for a domain.

And my subscriptions had 2 domains : matbaocare.com (main domain) & matbaocare.net (second domain).
When I create E-mail Address , by default I can choose several domain on my account with @matbaocare.com or @matbaocare.net.
But I don't want to create E-mail with second domain, just main domain can use email !
How to config Plesk to auto disable create E-mail with several domain on account?
I login & send email through thunderbird using SSL and it's ports (so I no longer connect using 25/26). Occasionally I use webmail (Squirrelmail)
My scripts do send mail via sendmail.
Does my cpanel server still need the basic 25 & 26 ports to deliver and receive mail successfully, or can they be blocked in APF without any problems arising?
I have configured qmail+spamassassin. It working find but still I have 2 problem. I am receiving spam mails from my own account to my own account e.g. from=info@domain.com to info@domain.com. How can I block this spam?
