I just installed Nginx. It seems it works well, but watchdog reports it as "stopped".I restarted watchdog several times, and it always says the service has stopped.What shall I do to make watchdog see Nginx as a working service?
Following this KB [URL] ...., I can confirm that command "/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/nginxmng -s" return "Enabled".
When my server reboots I get about 12 email notifications from Watchdog that services are being started.I don''t get the same thing from my other Plesk servers upon reboot. How can I stop it?

After migrating to a new server and also from plesk 11 to 12 i've got two watchdog errors:
/bin/sh: /usr/local/psa/libexec/modules/watchdog/cp/clean-events: No such file or directory
/bin/sh: /usr/local/psa/libexec/modules/watchdog/cp/pack-sysstats: No such file or directory
Both files dont exist. Is it save to delete the scheduled taks or should those tasks exist?
SETUP:
CentOS 6.3, 64 bit.
Plesk 11.09, Update #10.
I enabled Watchdog in Plesk.
It works fine.
However, it doesn't start up by itself after a server reboot.
I can start it manually with the following command:
/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/modules/watchdog/wd --start (which I have done by adding it to /etc/rc.local)
Shouldn't Plesk do this automatically?
In plesk9 my customers had the option to send daily usage reports by e-mail. Only certain clients like this option. Using plesk11 I cannot find this option if I log in as a client. Has this feature been removed? And if so, can the administrator enable this option only for 1 or 2 clients?

The FTP on my VPs running centos 6.6 and plesk 12.0.18 Update #44 has stopped allowing FTP conections via filezilla or dreamweaver. My tech knowledge with server management outside of the gui is minimal but i have done the following. Checked that the firwall is allowing ftp traffic through the GUI in plesk.
restarted xinetd and checked status
[root@367549 ~]# service xinetd status
xinetd (pid 11707) is running...
[root@367549 ~]# lsof -i tcp:21

Then tried the following

But i can connect via telnet on port 21
when trying to use +dreamweaver or filezilla i get the following. This may be due to one or more of the following reasons: - The network cable is unplugged or the network is down. Please verify that the network cable is connected and that the network is up. - The FTP server is down. Please verify that you can connect to the FTP server using another FTP program. - The FTP host name is incorrect. Please verify that the host name is correct in the Site definition dialog box. - Accessing the server requires proxy settings that aren't properly set. Please verify that the proxy settings in the Site category of the Preferences dialog box are properly set, and that the Use Proxy option in the Site definition dialog box is selected. - You may need to connect to the server using a different port than the one provided. What to do and why after no change this just stopped working when ive been using ftp on this server previous.. the company that i brought the vps from have no intrest and tell me its unmanaged.
Our partition become full and drop the vps, after that we are unable to start postifx, actually postfix start but master not.
So if I run :
/etc/init.d/postfix restart
Shutting down postfix: [FAILED]
Starting postfix: [ OK ]
/etc/init.d/postfix status
master is stopped
I already try to reconfigure all
/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/mailmng-service --start-service --mail-component=all
Into ToolsSettings i change between qmail and come back again to postfix (reinstalling)...
I have recently migrated my websites from Plesk 11.0.9 to a new server with Plesk 12.x and the webalizer is not working.
- Is there a chance to repair it and not loose the data? If yes, how do I do that?
- Or do I have to remove it and install Webalizer again? How do I do that?

I've this terrible problem: on my site I start a script that executes a batch process that imports into the Mysql database a lot of products (texts and images). I'm monitoring the query process from Phpmyadmin>Status and I notice that after some minutes the number of queries decreases from ~900 to ~30, that means that the script is stopped! Then I check the error_log and infact there's this error:

I have Plesk Firewall Installed.
After the Plesk Firewall was enabled the FTP Stopped working in passive Mode.
I searched the net and found the following :

I changed the default FTP port from proftpd.conf

I am getting this error after installing the AfterLogic WebMail Pro_7 app on a domain.
I removed the app but AfterLogic still appears in the list of available Webmail options. I am getting the error even after changing all my domains to use Roundcube.

I'm not been able to start plesk although web and mail services are running.I'm getting the error unable to execute php_handlers_control.I've patched and updated plesk with command line and bootstrap repair and I'm getting this errors:

Today at 12.50 pm my (ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS) server running plesk 12.0.18 suddenly stopped serving websites. Any attempts to access a webpage on any vhost returned the 502 bad gateway using Nginx error messsage.When I looked at the nginx logs, I found messages like:

Restarting apache & nginx (/etc/init.d/apache2 restart & /etc/init.d/nginx restart) made no difference and I had to reboot to restore http access.
Strangely if I browsed with port 7080 specified (i.e. http://n.n.n.n:7080), this worked fine for all vhosts, so apache (which I believe is listening on this port while nginx listens on port 80) is working fine - nginx is just not able to pass stuff to it?
My current version of nginx in plesk 11.5.44 is 1.5.0 and i would like to update it to the latest stable version which is 1.6.0. However, i cannot seem to manage to do so. I tried with yum update nginx but i receive Package(s) nginx available, but not installed.

I followed this KB article 118757 but no luck. Also, the server resources are at the lowest usage and there is >2 TB disk space available.
My server admin already upgraded my OpenSSL to version 1.0.1m 19 Mar 2015 and he also upgraded Nginx to 1.6. I'm also running CentOS v5.11 and Plesk v11.5.
However, he tells me that he still can't get TLS 1.2 to work because he noticed that my server uses a different version of Nginx (sw-nginx), which he believes is part of Plesk. How we can get TLS 1.2 working on the Plesk copy of Nginx (sw-nginx)?
We have a problem with a magento website. Often (perhaps when we use administration), we have the message "502 Bad Gateway nginx".
We have added server instructions in Plesk Nginx:

But we have still the problem.

The log file say:

Plesk 12 will not do it and if you reinstall it you get errors after installation. Maybe a bug but seems nobody is interested in answering my question before.
I tried to remove by
apt-get remove --purge sw-nginx
dpkg -r sw-ningx
Both of them display that is removed but after a new installation are the folders not created and maybe old files not overwritten if not deleted.

how is it possible that after an update my main site is down? This site: www.orderhosting.it has plesk Panel and I have 20 sites. They work perfectly but my main site is off. I think there is an error in the configuration because:

I have a server with the latest version of plesk and centos.
The main site is Articoli Promozionali
Until now kept on the server active both apache and nginx.
Tonight I tried to disable apache leaving only nginx.
That raises the error: 502 bad gateway NGINX at all sites on that server.
To use nginx i need to keep active apache?
What can cause that error?
