How to translate non-chunked message to a chunked message using apache server side configuration?Idea is that apache must translate non-chunked request message coming from a client to a Transfer-Encoding: chunked message, before it reaches my apache C module. Here is the configuration i tried in httpd.conf, but of no success
I am having an issue where I have a server that Directadmin is installed on. I go to the a url that is on the server and all i see is the default page of apache saying congrats, it is installed. Although there is no file like that in the public_html any longer and I can see my files in the public_html folder of that specific site.
I've had a server running for a year or so and all of the sudden the server error log started outputting a very strange message that i've never seen before:
Code: 'groups' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
From what I understand this means apache is trying to run a program that doesn't exist, what could be triggering this?
I have question for apache in centos. I loaded the apache and I want to know that which MPM used by default two MPM defined in apache but which MPM apache actually used for request server.
I have test server with > VMware CentOS + Plesk 12...And after reboot, plesk "localhost.localdomain" show me "Apache 2 default page"I do this > service httpd restart, and after all ok. (Show Plesk Default page) no apache page.I want normaly reboot server and show "Plesk default page" no apache...
I have domains parked on a subdomain. Since i updated the apache configuration with cPanel the parked domains just show the default apache configuration. The domain shows up under parked domains. I can delete the domain and readd then it works. However, that isn't a good option cause there are 100+ domains.
In the WHM VPS optimized control panel - under Service Status, I see these
Disk /dev/hda3 (/backup) No DMA! (Click to Enable) Disk /dev/hda1 (/) No DMA! (Click to Enable) Should I? or shouldn't I "click to enable" - or is this something controlled by my host? what does this mean? regards, Mike Instinct-Software.com admin
I have placed .htaccess to block some ip, when the person ip matches, my server will gives this message "client denied by server configuration", got lots of them everday in my error log, how can I disable this message? I need other error log message but not this message, is there any way I can disable it?
My server has been running fine for months and then I got this message:
IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname (server.dealsreferals.com) resolves to . It should resolve to 69.46.27.111. Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.
Some are all of these problems can be caused by /etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you believe everything else is correct.
You may be able to automaticly correct this problem by using the ' Add an A entry for your hostname ' under ' Dns Functions ' in your Web Host Manager
What is the problem? Maybe I should do what is suggested, however, why suddenly the problem?
My server is working fine. Should I just let this problem? What harm can happen?
I've only just finished setting up Apache, PHP and MySQL etc.
I went through the sitepoint pdf on how to set everything up - and i tested it by making a php page (showing the date) and saving it in the htdocs folder just like the instructions.
I go to view the page in firefox by going to [url] and i get this error message
Apache HTTP Server has encountered a problem and needs to close.
I have a dedicated server and I am using the SMTP of one of my domain names to send mail. The IP of this domain name ends in .25 and the server hostname IP ends in .24.
The emails that are received list the server hostname and IP in the message headers instead of the IP of the domain name that is sending the email. Is there something that can be done about this? I read that a message could be mistaken as spam if it doesn't originate from the exact IP of the domain in the 'from' field.
Trying to figure out the hardware configuration I'll need to host a message board and was wondering if those of you with experience could throw out some numbers in terms of # users, bandwidth used, and what hardware configuration you're on (single server, dual server, dual proc, RAM, disk, etc). Been tricky trying to guestimate so some numbers to compare would be a huge help.
I am opening this thread to complain about Yahoo mail issues with our ISP. Its been a month that we are having problems trying to send e-mail to Yahoo accounts.
First of all we are a Web Hosting company in Brazil and the IP that they blocked only host our main domain maxihost.com.br. We dont send bulk ou spam e-mails, we only send invoices and support replies to their accounts.
The logs from our mail servers when trying to e-mail them is below,
Code: LOG: MAIN cwd=/usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot 4 args: /usr/sbin/exim -v -M 1KHPUv-0007rp-0r delivering 1KHPUv-0007rp-0r Connecting to g.mx.mail.yahoo.com [209.191.88.239]:25 ... connected SMTP<< 421 Message from (189.1.169.32) temporarily deferred - 4.16.50. Please refer to [url] SMTP>> QUIT LOG: MAIN SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection: host g.mx.mail.yahoo.com [209.191.88.239]: 421 Message from (189.1.169.32) temporarily deferred - 4.16.50. Please refer to [url] Note that I already filled out the form [url]telling them I am an ISP and I do not send any e-mail spam for their accounts, although every time I fill it I get an automatic/canned e-mail from their system with the following content,
Code: Hello Guillherme,
Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Mail.

What can you do to stop so many users on your server that use mysql as apart of their website from getting this message: MySQL server has gone away
Like there has to be something installed or configured on the server that causes this as well, as I know people are taking too long to load something and it through that message, but it has to be something you can do server wide to get reed of it?
I getting error from cpanel now about possible hard drive failure.First it was only secondary disk,so i send request to support to ask them why is that happening and they said it is just temperature warning, but they still checked disk.Testing took 3 hours, and support said everything is ok.
But now i start to receive again that message, and now not just secondary disk, also primary disk.So what should i do,should i just ignore that error considering now is summer and it's hot or contact support again?I am in that dilema beacuse if support will test disk that require offline testing and means server will be down again, and now even longer beacuse of both disk warning, and again if they realy fail then i will lost all data and experience much longer downtime.
We are getting following error while we view the awstats.
WARNING: LastLine parameter in history file is '20080518001148' so in future. May be you need to correct manually the line LastLine in some awstats*.domain.com .conf files.
is there anything to run on server to fix this issue globally as we are facing this for all domains on server.
Also in the awstats configuration file of the website(awstats.domain.com.conf). when we make the value WarningMessages = 0 then the error gets fixed.
But after running /scripts/runweblogs < username > the value of WarningMessages again come back to 1 WarningMessages=1
and we again see the above Warning message in the awstats webpage.
I have a client who could not send email to another domain, it didn't bounce just disappeared.
When I look in the exim_mainlog, the message in question wind up frozen after getting this error:
smtp transport process returned non-zero status 0x000e: terminated by signal 14
2008-05-24 17:34:23 1K17WW-0002so-Sn == vicoello@xxxxx.com R=lookuphost T=remote_smtp defer (-1): smtp transport process returned non-zero status 0x000e: terminated by signal 14 2008-05-24 17:34:23 1K17WW-0002so-Sn Frozen 2008-05-25 18:02:27 1K17WW-0002so-Sn Message is frozen ... 2008-05-26 22:08:47 1K17WW-0002so-Sn Message is frozen .... 2008-05-27 15:00:31 1K17WW-0002so-Sn Message is frozen ??? Dissapeared
It never warned the user as said it dissapeared, I have checked exim_mainlog and have found other cases to different domains that maybe the users have not reported but they were lost too.
I tried /scripts/eximup --force and that didn't fix it.
