when I find the subscription from the admin side of PPA, if I select "Login as user" I've noticed that it is different from actually logging in as the user - for example - "add domain alias" is missing when I login as a customer - but not as an admin... I need my customers to add their own aliases and manage them - how do I add that feature to the client login side?
View 9 RepliesI have done the migration with the Migration Manager from Confixx to Plesk 12.0.18. Users can login tho the mail account with Outlook, thats no problem(old password is working). If the webmailer is set to Hord the user also can login. But if i switch to roundcube it is not possible to login to the Webmailer! You get the message "Die Anmeldung ist fehlgeschlagen." (Login failed)
After changing the email password in plesk, it is then possibe to login(even if the new password is identical to the old one)?!?
Is this a known bug? Is there a solution for that?!? I really don't want to email every customor to ask him to change his password?!

i can not login to my decated server by using root. the password is not correct.. becasue i did something wrong with my server. i used chmod 777 -R /public_hmtl and chown to modify my server. and i can not login anymore, LT asked me to reload my server, do i need to reload it?

After running this two lines, when i login to admin panel, it shows: Can not extract SAML message.
During the installation of Plesk, at first it used the root password, and then had me create an "admin" user.
When I log in using either I don't see any difference in the UI or options. Is there a difference or a reason to use one over the other?
Or is it just to give someone access to admin Plesk without giving them full root password of the server itself?
When I try to goto mydomain.com:8443 the site looks like it's stuck in some sort of loop always refreshing and never getting to a login prompt.

I'm not able to login in webmails with shot names, in Horde, nor in RoundCube.
Ex: webmail.domain.tld

I must use the full email address as username
Ex: webmail.domain.tld

It seens it not find the server.
In Plesk Panel it works fine.
We have a new PPA installation to replace Hsphere.
One of the issues we have is most old Hsphere customers want to just go to http://cp.myppaserver.com and have it automatically redirect to https://cp.myppaserver.com:8443 as it did with Hsphere.
Ho can I achieve this with my Plesk Automation install?
It's possible to change the main plesk user "admin" I would chenge the "name" only because chrome make me crazy with password stored

I believe the product we are using is Parallels Operations Automation.
We have a customer that we want to be able to give the right to unlock user accounts. The only way to do this seems to be to enable "Billing" as one of the privileges. Unfortunately this gives them more access than we really want to. Is there some trick we can use to give this user only these rights?
I'd want to create a user and set custom privileges using the standard mysql-client, ie. create user and grant privileges, but I know that sometimes Plesk overwrites my config files for other services.

Just got a new additional VPS with WHM/cPanel.
Browse to www.mydomain.com/webmail and get login box > login accepted and taken to Horde/Squirrelmail choice screen > choose Squirrelmail and get login box ... login not accepted! > Retry and choose Horde ... login not accepted!
The login is correct and the results are the same when logging in as root, or through /cPanel or /Webmail.
I thought I knew enough about my .htaccess stuff to do this, but I can't seem to work it out. What I want to do is if a user visits domain.com/folder, we check to see if the folder exists. If so, show as normal (IE domain.com/support)
If a user visits domain.com/dynamicusername (dynamicusername is not a physical folder), redirect to dynamicusername.domain.com

I know that there is the motd file in /etc that i can put a message but i see it when i full be recognized by the server.. (after putting the password).. How can i put the other 2 messages?
when our customers enter the domain name in this format: http://www.domain.com:8443 the page will be redirect to https://our-datacenter-default-hostname:8443.
but if they enter httpS://www.domain.com:8443 , the page don't redirect to anywhere and every things is ok.
How can I change the URL that users redirect to when they don't enter "https" in addressbar?
