Plesk Automation :: Login As User From Admin / Actual Login As User Are Different
Jan 3, 2014when I find the subscription from the admin side of PPA, if I select "Login as user" I've noticed that it is different from actually logging in as the user - for example - "add domain alias" is missing when I login as a customer - but not as an admin... I need my customers to add their own aliases and manage them - how do I add that feature to the client login side?

Can Not Login To Decated Server By Root User
Aug 1, 2007i can not login to my decated server by using root. the password is not correct.. becasue i did something wrong with my server. i used chmod 777 -R /public_hmtl and chown to modify my server. and i can not login anymore, LT asked me to reload my server, do i need to reload it?

Nov 24, 2014I have done the migration with the Migration Manager from Confixx to Plesk 12.0.18. Users can login tho the mail account with Outlook, thats no problem(old password is working). If the webmailer is set to Hord the user also can login. But if i switch to roundcube it is not possible to login to the Webmailer! You get the message "Die Anmeldung ist fehlgeschlagen." (Login failed)
After changing the email password in plesk, it is then possibe to login(even if the new password is identical to the old one)?!?
Is this a known bug? Is there a solution for that?!? I really don't want to email every customor to ask him to change his password?!
VPS With WHM/cPanel Webmail - Login ... Then Login Fails

Browse to www.mydomain.com/webmail and get login box > login accepted and taken to Horde/Squirrelmail choice screen > choose Squirrelmail and get login box ... login not accepted! > Retry and choose Horde ... login not accepted!
The login is correct and the results are the same when logging in as root, or through /cPanel or /Webmail.

May 7, 2007I thought I knew enough about my .htaccess stuff to do this, but I can't seem to work it out. What I want to do is if a user visits domain.com/folder, we check to see if the folder exists. If so, show as normal (IE domain.com/support)
If a user visits domain.com/dynamicusername (dynamicusername is not a physical folder), redirect to dynamicusername.domain.com

I know that there is the motd file in /etc that i can put a message but i see it when i full be recognized by the server.. (after putting the password).. How can i put the other 2 messages?

I have even created a new account from WHM and still can't connect with FTP.. In FileZilla it just says "Could not connect to server"

The server was configured to not permit you access to the specified resource. If you believe this is in error or inadvertent, please contact the system administrator and ask them to update the host access files.
Where should I specify WHM login permissions?

Ssh Slow Login
Aug 2, 2008I noticed today that SSH is taking longer to log into, I have tried by password and key but they just as slow as each other.
Once I am logged in, it is fine.
I have tried restarted SSHD via WHM but it makes no difference. Trace route looks ok and all other services seem fine as well.
Server load is around 0.00 and around 500mb ram spare.

Apr 23, 2008I have someone on my server that is having problems login to Cpanel and WHM.
They can view all websites on the server even theirs, but they cannot login.
They keep getting: Firefox cannot establish a connection with the server.
Even in IE they get a error message.
They even tried with "theirdomain.com/cpanel" and got the same thing.
They are using a rounter also, so I told them to try unhooking that, but my main question is, it doesn't seem that their IP is blocked as I checked, so is there anything else on the server that could cause this or is it something on their end?

And i try to reconnect, same thing.

Mar 11, 2007i have changed my servers ssH login port for more security.. After i changed port could'nt login to my server with ssH and i did ask to dedicated company to login my server and they able to login through the specified port by SSH.. But i can't still connect.. This is happened before on my old server.. It is very strange sometimes i can login sometimes can't login but i could'nt login on my new server yet.. I have changed PuTTY i did try SSH Explorer as well and i did try my laptop to login .. Still same can't login.
If they change the port to 22 i will login easyly i know but i should able to login on different port so that is my problem..
