We will be hosting our own closed source solutions and need to be able to not give customers access to the files in their webspace.FTP and SSH access will be blocked in the firewall, so that it easy.I see it is possible to disable access to FTP users information, but the file manager is still usable in the CCP (Customer Control Panel / Hosting Panel).Can this file manager be disabled as well?
Is there any way to forbid plesk panel to use one of the IP addresses?If I remove address from panel - it has removed physically from network interface. I want to keep this IP address on network interface, but not let plesk panel use this address in all config files (nginx. apache, ssl etc.)
I want to use standard ports (443 and 80) on this IP address with some custom program not related to plesk panel and web servers. But now Plesk binds all available IP addresses to it services by default.
I have an issue with my daily backup. I configured to have a daily backup on an external FTP server. Everything looks to work correctly but in the panel I see that the task is a 100% forever. Never finishing completely.. So the next day, the task is not starting.. I have to remove manually the task in backup manager screen.
here is the last lines of the log file (in /var/log/plesk/PMM/backup-2015-01-20-20-46-02-824)
I've already stop the spamassassin service on Services Management but it's only valid one day. The next day, spam assassin service automatically start
2. my customer mailbox statistic wrong. Even if their mailbox not full but when they send email. The quota said that their mailbox full. So they can't send/receive email.
Our action : Manually, use command /usr/local/psa/bin/sw-engine-pleskrun /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/DailyMaintainance/script.php -f execute-statistics
So. Plesk has a button to enable or not enable automatic updates of WordPress installations it knows about. I toggled it and it didn't seem to effect the setting in my wp-config.php file:
//--- disable auto upgrade define( 'AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED', true );
which remained like that whatever I did to the Plesk button.
Nor does it seem to set this setting either way: define( 'WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE', false );
So. Is it something independent of WordPress? I.e. Plesk goes and gets the updates and applies them? If so - what updates is it getting - major changes or just minor ones?
Automatic Parallels Plesk. 12.0.18 has stopped working but no solution from plesk yet? I think every user has the same problem. Many people asked the same question but no solution/answer from plesk.
We have over 50 WordPress installations with us on the server. Everything works very well. Only a WordPress there are problems. For automatic updates, we receive only:
i have setup fresh Centos 6.5 with Plesk Pannel 12.0.18. When i execute the attached command from the console, i get it work, some posts are auto created within wordpress. When i enter the attached command within Plesk (Tools / Settings - Taskmanager - root New Task, the command is not executed...
I've got a e-mail notification problem since i upgraded from Plesk 11.5 to Plesk 12: One specific Application Update for customer X is being sent to all my customers.
Last week we did have a problem with a busted customer portal. ( not customer X, plus still on Plesk 11.5 ) I fixed this by using this procedure: [URL] ..... Restored two records and problem solved.
As a temporary resolution we disabled Application Updates for our customers, but I do want that my customers receive Application Updates, but just the one where they are the recipient.
Nginx is listening on port 7080 with ipv6 protocol only.ipv6 isn't use on the server (ipv4 only).If I disable ipv6 support on the server, is this stopping nginx to use ipv6 ? (and some other process)How can I disable IPv6 on Plesk 12 ?
# ll /opt/psa/var/modules/firewall/active.flag ls: cannot access /opt/psa/var/modules/firewall/active.flag: No such file or directory
# /etc/init.d/psa-firewall start psa-firewall: service is disabled
You then have to manually "touch" the active.flag to be able to start the firewall again. A workaround is to remove the line:
Code: sed -i 's:rm -f /opt/psa/var/modules/firewall/active.flag::' /opt/psa/var/modules/firewall/firewall-emergency.sh'
I really hope that Parallels fixes this asap, as normally you won't notice that the firewall is not active when every works fine (nothing is blocked) and Plesk still shows all the rules.
I would like my clients only to be able to access Plesk Panels from a certain domain, instead all from or with all the domains hosted on our server, is there a way to accomplish that?
I recently upgraded phones and forgot that my google authenticator keys were on my old phone. I am now unable to log in to the Plesk admin panel. I of course still have SSH access. How can I disable the Google Authenticator so I can regain access?
The premium antivirus when enabled it automatically sends notifications to both sender and server admin. I wish to disable the the notification to the sender and also only send a summary email weekly to the admin.
I need to disable apache access logs. I commented out the access log path in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and restarted the server but it's still logging access.
Sometimes my clients install untrusted scripts to their account what causes spamming, because these scripts sending high number of spam emails. Is there an automatically way to disable php mail function, or disable the account temporary?
We run a high traffic server and the access logs get filled up very quick. I know we could implement rotation, but I would also like to prevent performance loss by having an access log, doesnt matter how marginal that would be.
