This server appeard to upgrade successfully, and has the relevant tools installed with no errors on apt-get.Perhaps removing and re-installing the wordpress toolkit will work?
Is it possible to completely remove the WordPress Toolkit.
Or at least to remove the button from the BasemenĂ¼ at "Server Management"->"WordPress" ....
My Wordpress Toolkit stops showing the Wordpress Installations.
Instead of that, is showing a yellow sign with the following error:
"Decoding failed: Syntax error"
I found this [URL] ... but it did not work for me.
I decided to reinstall several times my Wordpress site using my Wordpress backup.
The Wordpress installation using the Toolkit works fine, however, when I update Wordpress (core, plugins or theme) within my Wordpress dashboard, the Plesk's Wordpress Toolkit keeps saying there are still updates pending. Also I noticed that if I change the site's name in my Wordpress dashboard, the Plesk Wordpress Toolkit keeps showing the old one. (same happens with languages)
Although my website is working fine, after a while, not matter if I update or not my Wordpress site using the Toolkit, eventually I receive the "Decoding failed: Syntax error" in my Plesk panel.
Plesk version 12.0.18 Update #24, Centos 6.6 Final
We are trying to use the new Wordpress toolkit, but when we try to install an instance it says this:
Contact your service provider for assistance. Upgrade the system PHP CLI to version 5.3.0 or later, or set the correct path to the PHP CLI in the clipath option of the php_handler utility for a custom PHP handler.
Screenshot:
Now that would not be a problem if the requirements were not met, but there are installed PHP versions that are higher than 5.3 and the website is configured to us these versions...
# /usr/local/psa/bin/php_handler --list
id: display name: full version: version: type: cgi-bin: php-cli: php.ini: custom:
2 5.5.14 5.5.14 5.5 fastcgi /usr/local/php5514-cgi/bin/php-cgi /usr/local/php5514-cgi/bin/php /usr/local/php5514-cgi/etc/php.ini true
3 5.3.29 5.3.29 5.3 fastcgi /usr/local/php5329-cgi/bin/php-cgi /usr/local/php5329-cgi/bin/php /usr/local/php5329-cgi/etc/php.ini true
cgi 5.2.17 5.2.17 5 cgi /usr/bin/php-cgi /etc/php.ini false
fastcgi 5.2.17 5.2.17 5 fastcgi /usr/bin/php-cgi /etc/php.ini false
module 5.2.17 5.2.17 5 module /usr/bin/php-cgi /etc/php.ini false
The website is using this version, and the PHP CLI is defined in the php_handler tool
I must be missing something obvious.
I have over 5 WP installations on my Server and i installed all manual and had never issues.
Now i installed a again a WP Site and after i go to the Wordpress Toolkit to search for the new installation i got the following Message:
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '?' in /usr/share/plesk-wp-cli/php/wp-cli.php(23) : eval()'d code on line 1 {"err_code":0,"err_message":"
With error cannot connect to DB.
So all WP installations are running fine instead of the new one.... I didn't change any configs files of PHP all is standard, the wp-config.php is correct, the Site is running fine.
From my point of view is this an issue by Plesk due to Parse error message at the files of Plesk, see error message!
System:
OS Debian 7.8
Plesk Version 12.0.18 Update #43, zuletzt aktualisiert: 20. April 2015 13:17:36
I know with an older Version of Plesk 12.0.18 it was working fine too, so the bug was implemented with a MU.
I checked the file as well and find out that at all PHP files the code is not closed at the end so the "?>" is always missing.Â
I'm struggling to find the problem why the wordpress toolkit will not update plugins/wordpress/themes. I'm getting this error:
The WordPress plugins were updated with errors:
Installation "Multirotor Photo's": Warning: Could not create directory. {"err_code":0,"err_message":"Updated 0/1 plugins."}
I recently migrated all domains from my old server to the new server using the plesk migration tool.
The configurations of the servers:
Old server: Ubuntu 12.04, Plesk 12.0.18, AMD Opteron , 8 GB RAM
New server: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, Plesk 12.0.18, Intel Xeon, 8 GB RAM
I'm attempting to utilize the WordPress Toolkit. After clicking scan on a webspace with WordPress installed the panel returns the error "'plugin list' is not a registered wp command. See 'wp support'.".
I've tried it on a few servers that has the WordPress Toolkit installed, but they all return the same error.
I have a clean installation of Parallels Plesk on my server, and I installed wordpress on two of my domains. I'm scanning for installations through Plesk Admin, and it shows two installations with empty name and the toolkit is not functional at all. Check the attached screenshot.

I tryed install multiple-php version in my Plesk 12 on CentOS 6.5 using Plesk KB but it doesn't work very well so I installed php-panda and it works fine but I want uninstall the php 5.4.31 version that fail but leaving the no-atomic old version. How can I do that? I know that is installed in other directory.

(Error) CloudFlare can not delete domain.tld from this interface. your Plesk server is not the authoritative partner with CloudFlare for your domain.
What is the way to deactivate and uninstall Cloudflare?
when trying to uninstall this extension I get the following error: Executing /opt/psa/admin/plib/modules/panel-news/scripts/pre-uninstall.php failed.
View 3 Replies View Relatedway to disable my Wordpress's RSS feed, because I have figured out another website just copies my content via my RSS feed.
I have searched and found three interesting results, which actually all 3 do or suggest you to do the same thing.
[url]
[url]
plugin: disable rss
This works perfectly to disable /feed, but unfortunately /feed/rss will still perfectly work?
I can't see why all those developers just post this, without having actually tested if it really disabled the RSS feed. But can somebody recommend me a good way to disable Wordpress's RSS feed?
I've searched and tried every solution to this I could find. When Plesk 12.1 is configured to process php by nginx, I just can't get Wordpress permalinks to work. If I switch permalinks to default the pages will appear, but if I use something like day and date for the permalinks I get a Nginx 404 error. Of course if I'm just using Apache and it can read the .htaccess file everything works fine. I think part of the reason the solutions I find won't work is my main site is static with the wordpress blog in the /blog/ subdirectory. What would I add in Plesk to get permalinks to work correctly with wordpress in a /blog subdirectory. I'd also like to get WP Super cache working as well if possible.

I have some issues access my files through FTP. I created a new FTP user, that match the domain name, so it is easy for me to terminate access if i choose to delete the domain.
I can only access / see files that i uploaded with that specific FTP user. If i install a plugin inside Wordpress, i can not access those files via FTP.
If i login via SSH, with the root user, i can see all files.
I have tried to add the FTP user to the psacln group, but no luck.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently changed the main domain url from website.com to www.website.com, this resulted in 404-errors when i navigated to wordpress...
I found a solution on the internet and updated the records with phpmyadmin [URL] ....
When I click on Login at the the WordPress Installations I'm still being navigated to the old website url. It supprices me that there is no option to change it on Plesk level after wordpress is deployed.
How can i change or update the wordpress path once it is installed in Plesk?
I'm using CentOS 6.2, maybe there is a config file or an database for Plesk?
All Wordpress installations were recognized but they are not selectable and all have a parse error:
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting T_STRING in /usr/share/plesk-wp-cli/php/wp-cli.php(18) eval()'d code on line 89

See the attached jpeg for the complete error message.
All the sites are working okay so we know the databases are accessible and working. We have the latest version of Plesk 12 with micro updates done daily. This is a plain installation with no mods to the system files or software. This is hosted at 1and1.com; our other server at Rackspace found the WP installations without any problems.

I searched for a while on internet and i found . URL.... So the problem that i have is that i added this piece of code manually in : /var/www/vhosts/system/domaine.com/conf/nginx.conf....Since it s mentioned above

if I try to use the new wordpress service in the admin panel, I get following errors:
By starting a search of wordpress installations: PHP Fatal error: "Die Suche nach WordPress-Installationen wurde mit Fehlern abgeschlossen: Resource with UID 'c94fef81-1552-43e1-ae5b-ce125776caa7' not found."
One installation is found but by open the detail view I get the error "Call to undefined function is_admin() in /usr/share/plesk-wp-cli/php/wp-cli.php(18) : eval()'d code on line 87".
So. Plesk has a button to enable or not enable automatic updates of WordPress installations it knows about. I toggled it and it didn't seem to effect the setting in my wp-config.php file:
//--- disable auto upgrade
define( 'AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED', true );
which remained like that whatever I did to the Plesk button.
Nor does it seem to set this setting either way:
define( 'WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE', false );
So. Is it something independent of WordPress? I.e. Plesk goes and gets the updates and applies them? If so - what updates is it getting - major changes or just minor ones?
If I try to fetch manual Wordpress installations, they run in trouble with the Wordpress support (doesn't recognize them). Also if I do a fresh installation of Wordpress, it's recognized first but all changes to plugins or themes within Wordpress are not recognized and handled, also if removing the installation in Plesk and rescanning for installations.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI already posted this as a bug report and now wanted to inform other users.
Starting with Plesk 11.5, the file "/opt/psa/var/modules/firewall/firewall-emergency.sh" contains the following line:
Code:
rm -f /opt/psa/var/modules/firewall/active.flag
That line stems from updating
Code:
Preparing to replace psa-firewall 11.0.9-debian6.0.build110120608.16 (using .../psa-firewall_11.5.30-debian6.0.build115130819.13_amd64.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement psa-firewall ...
Now, when you stop the firewall, you cannot start it again, cause deleting the active.flag disables the firewall:
Code:
# ll /opt/psa/var/modules/firewall/active.flag
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2013-11-26 09:22 /opt/psa/var/modules/firewall/active.flag
# /etc/init.d/psa-firewall stop
psa-firewall: firewall successfully disabled
# ll /opt/psa/var/modules/firewall/active.flag
ls: cannot access /opt/psa/var/modules/firewall/active.flag: No such file or directory
# /etc/init.d/psa-firewall start
psa-firewall: service is disabled
You then have to manually "touch" the active.flag to be able to start the firewall again. A workaround is to remove the line:
Code:
sed -i 's:rm -f /opt/psa/var/modules/firewall/active.flag::' /opt/psa/var/modules/firewall/firewall-emergency.sh'
I really hope that Parallels fixes this asap, as normally you won't notice that the firewall is not active when every works fine (nothing is blocked) and Plesk still shows all the rules.
