We've migrated a web hosting account from a Plesk 10 server to a Plesk 12 one but the customers Horde calendar and events settings haven't transferred over.I've tried exporting and importing the data manually and that seems to work, but why doesn't the migration manager bring this information across?
View 4 RepliesI am setting up a new server and started to migrate domains from an 11.x plesk server to this new server with plesk 12.x on it. Everything works fine, domains, users, mailboxes, everything is migrated - except the horde settings inside the webmail. I recognized this after my first login into webmail, normally the inbox is shown (I configured my webmaoil this way) but after the migration this setting is lost - including all other settings. How to migrate this settings?

I've noticed that the per-domain PHP settings (like open_basedir and include_path) are not transmit to the backup server. Is that the expected behavior ? I would have prefer the migrate tool to include all settings....
At my company we have running some Helm 3/4 servers and we've installed a new server with Plesk 12 for testing.Do you know a good way to migrate these servers (more than 6) to Plesk 12?.Helm is bringing to me a lot of problems and also servers must be renewed.

I generate the ssl for my customer going into this direction:
Tools & Settings > SSL Certificates > add new
I put the key there its ok until here.
Then I follow this: After adding an SSL certificate to a domain, you need to enable SSL support and select that certificate in the website hosting settings: Websites & Domains > Hosting Settings of this domain > Security.
But the dropdownlist there are not SSL with the name that i create on panel.
I have migrate Hosting from Cpanel to Plesk, but mailbox not create successful.
mbox_quota 262144000 -forwarding false -ignore-nonexistent-options failed with return code 1.
Stderr is
Unable to set the mailbox size limit for the domain: The size of this mailbox must not exceed the limit on amount of disk space allocated for mailboxes in this domain.
Default mailbox of Cpanel is 250MB.
How to change default mailbox size to 250MB to change mail from Cpanel to Plesk.
I had made the backups of subscription and of whole plesk too and migrate it to other server. It seems all to be fine, but I cannot send or receive emails In Tools & Settings -> Server-Wide Mail Settings - > Mail Queue I see all mails stored there. The IPs was changed yesterday, and now I can see that WHOIS Infos was chanfed too, the domains are online.
On old server I had no problem with sending of emails (post), it is stil on, because I had not by all domains changed the DNS-Records yet.
I got a new Server with Plesk 12.0.8 (old one has 11.5.30). Now I have to migrate all Subscriptions of the old System into the new one.
I tested it with one item and all time I get this warning:

On the Linux server Panel Set address and port manager migration. Username and password of an administrator account Windows.
After you click Next, we get this error:

I've just upgraded from Plesk 11.something to 12.0.18 on Centos 6. And I've seen that Horde has stopped displaying HTML email again. editing psa-horde/imp/config/mime_drivers.php. I've made that same fix on my new Horde installation, but it doesn't seem to have worked this time. Is there anything different that I need to do on this version of Horde?

One subscription can't switch between horde and round-cube. When they change to round-cube, it's still running Horde. To solve this problems, I tried remove Horde (everything's fine, successful) and install it again (error).
When I try to login via webmail horde I get always:
Login failed because your username or password was entered incorrectly.
The logfile shows:

just a quick question for those already tried it. I have Horde installed as the webmailer for my Plesk installation. After login in to Horde with an admin account I get update notifications for several of Hordes apps. Is it safe to update them or will it lead to problems with Pleskl?

We recently started migrating some cPanel accounts to Plesk. Besides the obvious that it doesn't create customer accounts it contains a pretty frustrating bug:
When an mail forward in cPanel has multiple addresses, only one the first mail forward address is migrated to Plesk.
so, E.g.
on cPanel: test@example.com is forwarded to john.doe@something.com, jane.doe@else.com, foo@bar.com
after migration to Plesk:
test@example.com is forwarded to john.doe@something.com only. The other addresses are not migrated.
i've migrate from plesk 11.5 (centos server) to plesk 12 (ubuntu 14). The migrate process doesn't give problems but now (and for all domains), web service doesn't work well in fact works but all domains resolve /var/www/vhosts/default/htpdocs/index.html and not /var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/
The rest of services (mail, ftp...) seems to work ok. I don't know if it's important but as before migrate, we use and external DNS server so in plesk i have DNS server down.

Is there a way to modify / create Sieve filters without Horde?
Version: 11.5.30 CentOS 6 115140407.17 x86_64
Description: On prior versions of Plesk, users could attach Microsoft Office (word, excel, etc) files to messages they are composing in Horde, and then, before sending, click on those attachments to view them to make sure they are correct. After upgrading to 11.5, the following error is shown in Horde instead:
"Fatal error has occured could not display attachment. Details had been logged for the administrator."This issue does not occur with other file types, such as a PDF or text file.Steps to reproduce: Install Plesk 11.5 on Centos 6 x64, create an email in Horde, attach a Word document, before sending, try to view the document.

In the list of available webmail clients there's only Horde. Why don't I have Roundcube? I thought it's preinstalled with Plesk 11.5 and higher.
When accessing Horde webmail, the page never loads till the end and all I get is the top menu, no e-mails.
Since the update from 11.5 to 12 working Horde login no longer, IMAP works otherwise perfect.

When i try to go to horde after my upgrade from plesk 11.5.30 to plesk 12.0.18, my horde is loading as minimal cause this:
JavaScript is either disabled or not available on your browser. You are restricted to the minimal view.
But my javascript is enabled for this site.

in order to have a Horde admin email we open
/etc/psa-webmail/horde/horde/conf.php
and change
$conf['auth']['admins'] = array();
into
$conf['auth']['admins'] = array('emailaddress@xyz.com');
Works fine. This change than reverses itself after every Plesk update incl micro updates. Are we editing the right file / is there an underlying one we should edit instead? Cannot find a setting in Plesk itself to configure a Horde admin email.
We are having an issue when users are trying to add attachments via horde the error:
unable to create VFS directory /.horde/imp
appears. How this can be resolved?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with webmail (horde). Horde Webmail show the wrong time, 2 hours to late. It look like that horde show the UTC time, but not the CEST "Europe/Berlin" of my server. I can change that over "preferences" -> "global preferences" -> "locale and time" and change "Your current time zone" from "Default" to "Europe/Berlin". This will now show the correct time (timezone), but this is not the solution because this will do all webmail users.
How can i change the default timezone in Horde?

I've already tried re-installing Horde, but without success.
There's an article in your KB, but `/var/lib/php/session` does not exist and `/var/lib/php5/sessions` has the required perms.
I've also tried to set session.save_path to `/var/lib/php5/sessions` in `/etc/psa-webmail/horde/horde/php.ini` and after a restart, sessions are written into that directory. But the problem still exists.
