Apr 11, 2015the Error Code is :SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1030 Got error -1 from storage engine Knowledge base says I am out of storage but I am not .But the output of command df -h returns this:

Restarting sw-cp-server doesn't shows any error.However , I was getting some problems with mysql socket and I wasn't able to use the plesk still then currently a custom installation of phpmyadmin lets me access the databases but I can't access any of my websites either (Wordpress). Apache returns 504 Gateway Error .
Bizarre Error 28 From Storage Engine
Oct 30, 2009I am getting error28 from storage engine with every application using mysql. The issue started a few weeks ago so i thought emptying /tmp folder would solve the issue but it didn't . Problem seems to disappear when i reboot the server but problem comes back again after a few hours . I even got tmp partition deleted and recreated

I coming no longer in the Plesk Dashboard and the following code appears:

Aug 11, 2014on a fresh installation of Ubuntu (at first 14.04 but on 12.04 the same problem occurs) I installed Plesk via the autoinstaller. It seems to be all fine except I cannot open Plesk in the browser.
The web browser shows "502 Bad Gateway", a look into the error_log at "/var/log/plesk/sw-cp-server" shows the following error:

Plesk 12.x / Linux :: Required Storage For Multi-volume Scheduled FTP Backup
Apr 8, 2015My Centos server running Plesk12 is running scheduled backups every sunday 3AM.
The backup is configured so that it's created as a multivolume backup with a volume size of 2047MB.
The backup is placed on my Personal FTP repo (another plesk12 server mounted with big storage).
The backup content is configured to backup server config and content (all).
The problem I have is when the backup is running I can see that it creates the volumes and stores it locally. After it send all the volumes the the external FTP repo it will delete the local (tmp) data. See my attached screenshot for storage health during backup.
Is this behaviour normal? This way we can never run a backup to an external FTP repo when our server passed 50% storage. Is it not normal to:
- Create a volume
- Send it to FTP repo
- Delete volume locally
- Repeat until done

Scalable Raid Storage Storage On A Budget? Also Hdd Reliability Q's
Sep 20, 2007I'm completely torn on going the absolute budget route vs spending more for something that'll allow easy upgradeability in the future. I basically need lots of space but file sending-- media like mp3s, video, etc.
it'll be raid 5 and I'll need at least 2-3TB initially but the ability to expand would be nice.
option 1:
nice chassis with plenty of hotswap bays with sas expanders
expensive sas raid card
option 2:
cheap chassis to serve "immediate" needs and go with more later.
not sure what I'd use as a card? maybe even onboard?
regarding reliability: I once saw a database of failure rates of different models. raptor was the most reliable of the "desktop" drives. anyone have the link? I'm wondering of the seagate ES drives are worth the extra money vs the non-ES drives. they're supposedely more reliable and the "server versions" of sata drives.
Linux Storage Server Partitioning

We are puting together a Linux Storage server which will have 4 x 1TB SATA Hard Drives connected to Hardware raid configured at level 10.
We plan to use this box initially for NFS services but in the near future iSCSI targets so would like to make a setup optimal the first time.
What is the best way to layout the drive partition’s for this setup?
My thought is
-100MB /boot ext3
-Rest in LVM
--LVM Group
---LVM001 2048MB SWAP
---LVM002 10GB /
---LVM003 500GB /nfs
---LVM004 500GB /iscsi
Is this an efficient setup and provide a great deal of flexibility down the road? We will end up having more than one iscsi target running on this box in the end. Also does LVM experience a performance hit ?

Unable to connect to license server [URL] ....
cURL error description: Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?)(77)
Checking via command line shows that the SSL certificate of ka.parallels.com on port 5224 is expired in 2004 (!)
As it worked until today, why the SSL cert check fails now?

Also failing the backup shows this error: Unable to rotate dump: The dump rotation is failed with code '126 'at / opt / psa / admin / bin / plesk_agent_manager line 1041.
And this one:Can not upload file 'domains/domain.tld/backup_domain.tld_info_1406210716.xml' to ftp. Error code: 1..my SO Debian 6.0.8

Plesk 12.x / Linux :: Error Log Not Rotating?
Feb 19, 2015just had a server /var full because of an error_log that was 4GB in size. First entries were from 28th of august last year.
Log rotation is configured on the webspace and access.log is rotating. It's set to rotate every 10240kiB.
Since the difference between 10MiB and >4GiB is quite large and there being a lot of errors on 28th august already it should have been rotated way sooner. Even if cron only runs the job once a day.
Host OS is Ubuntu 12.04.5 in case it matter.

May 16, 2015I am using the Slave DNS manager and I'm getting the following error in /var/log/messages on the slave server when the master/plesk tries to send change notifications.received notify for zone 'example.com': not authoritative
The domain is pointing to ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com, the domains zone on the master has both of these as NS records. And the SOA record lists ns1.mydomain.com as the primary authoritative nameserver.The zone has not been set on the slave server, what would be the cause here?

Sep 22, 2014Since upgrading to v12* I have had issues backing up to my FTP repo, the errors are limited but how to come over it?I have searched and checked all common issues, space on drive, space on destination etc.

Feb 24, 2015We successfully migrated web and email from a Plesk 9.3 system to the new Plesk 12.0 system. Afterwards i try to install new extensions and / or try to delete existing extensions and receive the following error:
Die Erweiterung Webserver Configurations Troubleshooter kann nicht entfernt werden: crontabmng failed: /usr/bin/crontab execution failed: "crontabViWP46":11: bad command errors in crontab file, can't install. System error: crontab execution error
Means that i am not able to delete the extension "Webserver Configurations Troubleshooter". But the extension is delete (but not completelly - only a checkbox is shown without entry).
Is something comes with a config of the old server? All works proper until migration.

Nov 16, 2014i have make a full Plesk Backup on my Old Server with Plesk 12.0(Ubuntu) and will restore the Backup on my new Server with Plesk 12.0(CentOS).When i will restore the backup i get this error: "Error: The source file is not a valid XML file. If you supplied an archive file containing a backup from Plesk version 9 or later, then extract the contents of this archive, and process the extracted XML file with the converter. If you want to convert a backup file from a Plesk version earlier than 9, then you first need to process it with the pre9-backup-convert utility, and then process the resulting file with the pre10-backup-convert utility."
In the Logs i found this:
