Logged into my panel today to run a database backup on a site I'm working on to be confronted with the following:
Unable to backup database 'XXXXXXXXXX'
Cannot open backup device 'C:Program Files (x86)ParallelsPleskBackupXXXXXXXXX.co.nzdatabasesXXXXXXXXX-29 est'. Operating system error 5(Access is denied.).
BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally.

I'm not sure why permissions would change on their own, I'm also not sure how to fix the permissions error. I get the same error on all databases.
PrivateTemp folder appears to have write permissions for Group MSSQLSERVER

No matter what I do (updating settings, saving, etc.), the error keeps coming back. Seems like a database inconsistency. How can I access the Plesk DB through PhpMyAdmin to check the notifications table? When I go to Settings > Database servers > Local MySQL server > Webadmin, I only see my customers' databases.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had Plesk 10 installed on my openSUSE system (was a low version, maybe 11 or less) and then decided to upgrade to 11.5. So I did distribution upgrades to openSUSE 12.3 and everything went smoothly, except for some services like mysql and php. So I used Plesk autoinstaller to fix the php error and edited an outdated line in mysql configuration and both services ran smoothly!
Then I downloaded Plesk autoinstaller and ran the autoinstaller, but was surprised by this error message:

Unable to connect to database:
- My MySQL version is: 5.5.33 openSUSE package
- I did run mysql_upgrade with my admin username and password (password from: /etc/psa/.psa.shadow) and it worked successfully and fixed all of the errors, I did so after running the auto installer first, but then ran the installer again and the problem was still there
- I can access my web page, but it still doesn't connect to MySQL either.
I believe this is a problem with MySQL, but how can I make sure or detect what exactly the problem is
when I try to access to my plesk I obtain:

I have enabled mail for himivest.com and can access my eMail via Opera Mail as a download.
However, I cannot access webmail. Typing "[uRL] ...." into the address bar of my browser (Chrome) results in the message "No input file specified."
I believe this is a PHP setup error. I have tried disabling / enabling PHP support for himivest (in accordance with [URL] .... ) but this had no effect.
What must I do to enable webmail?
Lately whenever i try to connect to my Plesk Panel, I get Firefox's "Unable to connect" error and with Internet Explorer I get "Cannot display web page". I disabled all addons, still couldn't connect. Checked my Firewall, still nothing. I pinged the IP and got 51ms. My site is still up. And I just dont know what's wrong.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI'm Unable to Login to Control Panel, this issue started few days back, in that time i'm using Plask v11.5, When i try to log in browser try to log in and few minutes after it showing Error 500, Application error, I try to run reconfigurator.exe to verify & fix the Plesk installation, everything updated fine but issues still exist today i decided to upgrade to v12 and i upgrade to V12, everything installed fine and but still login issues there.
This time whey i try to login, i'm not getting any error message, but after some time i got mail from the server "alarm level changed. Server health parameter "Services > Plesk CPU usage" changed its status from "green" to "red"."
After updating i'm unable to login to the plesk panel with every user account.

After upgrading the panel from 10.4.4 to 11.5.30 Update #23, I am not able to sort domains based on the "Renewal Date" column. With 10.4.4, I was able to sort. Is there anyway I can do this on 11.5.30?
