Plesk for Windows 11.5.30
MailEnable Professional 7.55
We are have setup smtp like this
If i telnet 587 from outside and on the server no problem all is working great !
If i try telenet 25 from outside I can not connect ! But if och do it from the server i can connect !!
It is probably something i missed, but I can not find the correct settings !
Firewall is open for 25 and 587 !
I have 2 domain names, lets say domain1.com and domain2.com.
domain1 is the main domain and it has a subdomain, lets say sub.domain1.com.
What i want to do is to forward domain2 to domain1 without loosing its name. I used frame forwarding at plesk panel. The domain2 is correctly forwarded to domain1 without loosing its name. The problem is that the sub.domain2.com displays the domain1.com and not the sub.domain1.com
Below are my dns settings at domain2.com: xx.xx.xx.xx / 24 PTR domain2.com. sub.domain2.com. A xx.xx.xx.xx ftp.domain2.com. CNAME domain2.com. ipv4.domain2.com. A xx.xx.xx.xx
where xx.xx.xx.xx is my ip.
The funny thing is that webmail.domain2.com works fine.
I would like to know on how to forward specific IP with port to localhost or any IP by using iptables ? For example i would like to forward for port 25 from IP A to IP B, Currently i'm doing a test with my firewall and i'm very blur with iptables thingy.
I'm hostnig my website at home, and I think my router reset itself. I was wondering how to reforward port 80. I have a netgear router. This is teh port forwarding pagfe, of my router. The other is my ipconfig page.
I've set up a website using a no ip-account, nothing fancy or business-oriented, and I have it working this way:
no-ip(port 80 redirect to port 6500)->router(redirect port 6500 to pc2 with ip 192.168.1.3)->pc2(vmware server redirects port 6500 to virtual machine with ip 192.168.60.100, which is running an asp .net server serving on port 6500)
The router does not forward any port other than that one, but I would like to know if this has any risk for the other machines on the lan.
Suddenly my cdosys mails can not use port 465 over SSL......Is it related to the fact SSLv3 is disabled or something, both the client and mail servers have SSLv3 disabled...or my cdosys.dll is corrupted....
the error message is -2147220973The transport failed to connect to the server. I can telnet to port 465 of my mail server
*It appears that CDOSYS.dll does not support TLS by design. Therefore, need to find another SMTP mail compoents to replace it if using SMTPS.
I have a Windows VPS with Plesk panel. Windows Server 2008 R2 with plesk panel version 11.5.30.
I tried to change the default plesk panel port (8443) to eg (1234) without any success.
The steps i followed are the following: 1) Firewall -> Inbound rule -> allow for port 1234 2) Firewall, Disable inbound rule for port 8443 3) IIS, PleskControlPanel, Bindings: changed binding from 8443 to 1234.
Now i type on browser: [URL] .... and while its loading after some seconds redirects me to [URL] ...
I have a windows 2000 server and I would like to configure two domain names, c.com and bnvsaj.c.com and requests to these domains should be forwarded to 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2. How can I configure like this?
I can't for the life of me figure out how to forward email off this Plesk control panel to an email address outside of the domain - my customer wants his email forwarded to his blackberry using a specific email address - la_yoyager...etc..
URL....We are running Plesk 12 on a Linux VPS where we have multiple domains running.Multiple of these domains should redirect from www. domain name. ext to https://ext.domainname.com.This is configured with the Domain forwarding in Plesk, with hosting type Forwarding. But as described in the 2 links provided above, whenever you go to https://www.domain.ext, it does not redirect, and actually shows a Security error, since the domain doesn't have the SSL-certificate installed (because it should redirect to the https://ext.domainname.com).
Clearly we don't want visitors on the website to receive the (incorrect) Security error, and we want all traffic to http(s)://www.domain.ext to be redirected to the appropriate subdomains. allows us to redirect both the https/http connections to the domains, without forcing us to have the domains have a Website hosting add redirect them manually with (for example) .htaccess.
Currently I am using Linux + cPAnel and using the port 25 for email sevrer. Currently we facing 1 problem is, some user's ISP is not support port. May I know how can I add additional port into server and allow users to send mail by different port?
I need changing the nginx port. I've followed various threads and have created a custom nginxDomainVirtualHost.php file at: /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/templates/custom/domain, while the website indeed moves to the port I have set, a second nginx thread starts at port 80 and takes over in it's place.
I need to put varnish at port 80 and cannot do so until all services relinquish control on port 80.
Followed clues here: [URL] ....
some here: [URL] .....
Turn's out to be able to change the nginx port to a non-standard port you need to edit 6 files
i'm running 12.0.18#34 on PCS dedicated server. i recently discovered that some of the default jails on fail2ban that is shipped with Plesk 12 were not working correctly. Let me explain what i mean. For instance, the plesk-panel jail. The logs were parsed correctly, the command was successfully appended in iptables list, the fail2ban log was updated. Still, the intruder was not blocked. I kept reading "already banned" on the fail2ban.log but actually there was no blocking.
After some checks, i found out that fail2ban default configuration states SSH as default blocking port. that means, the block was working but only for ssh hits. thus the plesk-panel admin page hits were passing through.
since i added port=http, https on jail.local > plesk-panel and did it a restart on fail2ban service, only then did it start to actually block incoming hits.
I think this should be verified by programmers group and maybe include a fix in some future minor update.
