Hosting Company For Email Marketers (bulk Single Opt-in Emails)
Jul 1, 2008
I'm having some trouble finding a hosting company that will let me send out bulk mail to my single opt-in (and CAN-SPAM compliant) list of 500,000+ subscribers.
Could anyone here recommend a hosting company that would be able to handle that? I put in a request through WHT's quote request form, but haven't gotten any replies to my query.
I know that there must be a host out there who is willing to let me do it, I just need to find it...
BTW, the list is scrubbed, and I will make every attempt to keep the IP's 100% clean, as I have a vested interest in making sure that my deliverability is high, so it's not like I'm going to "spam and run"...
I am programming a bulk email sending for a client. I need a hosting company who can allow me to use Require 'Mail.php' to send about 5000 emails continuosly without fail.
I want to send bulk emails. I need a webhosting that can send 1 million emails in one go. It should have a static IP and should be cost effective. I have low budget.
i just open a small company for advertising, beside i will make email adviertising campaign, so what i can do for it? i want to know the best way to send this bulk email, the number of emails what i have arround 500000 emails .
WHT, wow been a while, but anyway i have a client whose hosting account has way tooo many emails, he mentioned to me that he doesnt need them, i logged into his email annd they are more than 500 pages of emails, how would i delete them in WHM without going 1 by 1 or page by page..(even with that they still go to trash)
I was thinking if anyone knew a good VPS hosting company who would allow me to send out around 10.000 emails on a daily basis. I will ofcourse not break any state laws and all emails will include an opt-out option.
i own a dedicated server with cpanel. i have SPF record in my domain and still emails sent from outlook are placed in spam folder by yahoo? how to fix this problem?
We are currently hosting with a shared hosting provider for our web/email needs and are looking to upgrade to a dedicated server that can scale our bulk email requirement (not spam).
We usually need to send out about 25K emails a day. Since we require the convenience of sending out emails from the individual Outlook clients and multiple people might be sending out the emails, we are thinking that a dedicated server might suit our needs better. Our web traffic very minimal and the load is primarily on email handling.
We are curently implementing a bulk emailing service,a ConstantContact type of service, that will be offering to our hosting customers. We are debating whether to use our own servers, or outsource this to a company that deals specifically with bulk email delivery.
Our company has recently invested in a Microsoft Small Business Server, we are moving all our email accounts to exchange server.
Our company runs a high profile website in Japan and we have a few email accounts that are downloaded by multiple staff, rather than have all staff download the same emails is it possible to have all emails forwarded to a public inbox where emails processed can be marked and ignored by other staff?
We do not want to forward the emails to user's personal inboxes, this seems to be the common solution for this type of email.
This might sound like a basic questions but we have trolled the internet for best practices in trying to set up this solution on exchange server but have not come across an answer.
how to set the restrictions of maximum recipients a singe email can be sent to. I found one customer sending an email to 1233 recipients at a time which is a large number enough to increase the queue on the server. I am running Cpanel/WHM. Is there some tweak to be done in Exim?
I have a problem where all email sent from uaccb.edu (studentmail.uaccb.edu [208.190.226.130]} is not arriving at my VPS. The people sending email from the above domain are not getting any errors, it is not being marked as spam, it is just being blackholed somehow.
I have checked the above IP and domain, and can't find it on any blacklist, and I am using pretty standard cPanel setup on my VPS. I have spam set to be marked and receive a fair amount and have it autorouted to a folder rather than auto-deleted.
From uaccb.edu, the only thing I have access to is Outlook Web Access to send test emails, and they are sent fine with no errors returned. If I send test emails to gmail and other similar email accounts, they go through fine, the only problem is to ANY domain hosted on my VPS. I have even recently transferred all the domains to a second VPS (with the same hosting company) at a different datacenter (for different reason) and the problem persists.
Is there any WHM setting or any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?
Outlook 2013 complains about the SSL certificate when using email. Installing the certificate still doesn't stop the error/warning. What are my options?
Can I install on the plesk server a self-signed SSL cert and avoid the issues? Can I buy & install a single certificate for that one domain and resolve the issue but not affect others. Do I need to buy a SAN certificate for the whole server?
I am taking on more clients and want to outsource all email to an established company so I can focus on what I do best. What are some excellent companies with great customer service for this service?
I'm about to the point where I am ready to host my website. I already have a domain but no hosting plan. In the future I may want to have several different websites each with their own unique domain. I was wondering if I choose a hosting plan for one site, can I use the unused web space for additional domains/websites?
if i want to make image hosting such as allyoucanupload or imageshack , where hosting should i go to,... i was with hostgator and they suspended me for it.
I'm planning to launch an e-commerce website for photo and gift printing. I went on Google and found a few websites having Top 10 web hosting companies information. I am really confuse which one is the best for my website.
I'm not sure how many users and traffic the website will get and don't want to pay extra $$$s for VPS or dedicated servers
I was wondering if you guys would recommend a hosting company to use a VPS? I am a web designer and as a side job i am thinking of selling reseller accounts for very cheap prices. I am mainly concerned mainly because of the RAM most VPS have . I mean is 248 and 512 mb really ok? Also , anyone have an insight on "burst ram"? What does this mean?
I will be starting up a new hosting company that will offer free and paid hosting. My question is, should I start out with a reseller, and move on as needed? I was simply thinking of starting out with a VPS, so I could simply skip the reseller part. I read elsewhere that some simply get a reseller and get another reseller when they need it.
What path should I choose. I could always get a VPS later on, but why not get one now? This is one reason I ask, because since reading about the reseller post, I am now split on this.
To note, have used a reseller before, but not a VPS. I do want to eventually learn to run a VPS, so this could be the time to do so.
we have about 10 servers in iweb.ca , iweb is good but account managers support are very poor ! for example when I need to upgrade my server I should contact my account manager and my account manager answer to my email after 2 weeks ! (if he answer)so I want to transfer my servers to another company ,
