Goals:
Long Term - I've biz established already and would like to add hosting as unlimited bonuses and even start a hosting business slowly as my own forums start to pick intensity
The 24-month option of HostRocket seems irresistable with unlimited bandwidth and 1tb of space (as their chat), kind of skeptical as it isn't in writing, but it seems they have a better offter at first then Hostgator, but they don't provide a billing system like: whmautopilot. PL nameservers are also $2/month with HostRocket, but Hostgator reseller options has them included.

HDD Partitioning With 2 HDDs + CentOS V. Select

1) I have one 80Gb HDD and one 250Gb HDD ( all are s-ata ).
In which practical way they should be partitioned? I thought to setup OS on 80Gb HDD and /home on 250Gb HDD.
2) Which version of CentOS is currently the most stable for cPanel? I had an experince with CentOS 5, there were various problems with mail and mysql.. And now I want to install CentOS 4.6.
The server will have CentOS and cPanel installed.

Plesk 12.x / Linux :: FTP Backup - Can't Select Objects
Sep 9, 2014I'm using the latest Plesk and I'm trying to backup to an FTP server. I'm assuming the backing up went well because I see the file on the FTP server.
1. In Plesk, I'm seeing this - Restore the backup file despite a corrupted signature. Q: What does this mean? How do I avoid this?
2. What do you want to restore? - You can select objects to restore only when you are restoring from backups that were created in Plesk 12.0 or later.
Q: I created the back in Plesk 12.0 or later, but the option for me to select objects is greyed out.
VPS Getting Mounted State Then Locked Each 3 Hours
Aug 17, 2007I found VPS at Virtuozzo logs that system turns locked and mounted and I believe the system becomes unresponsive at same time.
Here is the sequence of the status that can be found at VPS/status changes
RUNNING--->MOUNTED--->(LOCKED)-->(LOCKED, MOUNTED)-->
(LOCKED, RUNNING)-->(LOCKED)-RUNNING

Oct 20, 2014I added a new SSL certificate in `Plesk -> Tools & Settings -> SSL Certificates` and now want to link an existing domain to it.
However, on domain SSL Certificates page, the only option displayed is to create a new certificate. I can't select one of the existing ones.
Am I missing something? How can I link already added SSL to a domain?
MySQL Process List - State = Locked
Aug 18, 2008When i login to the root for the server and go to mysql process list i see a lot of processes that are connected to photo handling and the sate is Locked with over 500 seconds of each one.
I see there is one process that the state says: Copying to tmp table
I read online that if this is taking long it might lock up other queries causing your server to perform slow and only solution is to restart mysql servers.
Right now i have over 100 queries that say Locked and one that says Copying to tmp table....each time i have to restart the mysql services but this happens every 10 minutes as i have enough traffic to cause this problem.
Apache :: Threads Stuck In Logging State
Aug 2, 2013I have Apache 2.4.6 x64 installation. With the lapse of time, more and more threads appear that are stuck in "L" state.
They are all gone after httpd restart, leaving 408 errors in access logs. What can be the reason?
Can mod_log_rotate be involved? Currently it's set to rotate every 2 days.

So my real state portal will have:

I've installed the default apache 2, mysql, php using aptitude.
The server load is not at all high, around 1-1.5 max. The apache processes running are at an avg 60-80. It has 1GB ram and Disk Swap usage is 0kB
My server keeps rebooting every now and then. These are the messages I get in the ssh session just before the reboot..

1> All permissions are right.
2> When I type command '/usr/local/psa/bin/repair --restore-vhosts-permissions' i get the answer 'Directory permissions were successfully updated.'
3> The Order of Webuser and FTPUser (as described in the article) could also not be the problem, because in my case there is only one user (There is only Webuser and no FTP-User.)
4> When typing '/usr/local/psa/bin/repair --update-vhosts-structure' I get the following error 6 times each:
