Plesk 12.x / Linux :: Warning - Incorrect Operation Of Parse URL PHP Function
Jul 17, 2014
I have some problem with my parse_url after last update of Plesk Panel.I ran the test script on my server and on my local computer, and received the following result: Local computer:
HTML:
Array ( [host] => product_features.clear_list?redirect_url=http [path] => //www.siteExample.com )
As you can see, the structure of the output data is not identical as it should be.
My plesk version is 12.0.18.When I try to install wordpress I had this error:Internal error: Failed to parse metadata...MessageFailed to parse metadata...File aps_php.php Line10024.
I have over 5 WP installations on my Server and i installed all manual and had never issues.
Now i installed a again a WP Site and after i go to the Wordpress Toolkit to search for the new installation i got the following Message:
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '?' in /usr/share/plesk-wp-cli/php/wp-cli.php(23) : eval()'d code on line 1 {"err_code":0,"err_message":"
With error cannot connect to DB.
So all WP installations are running fine instead of the new one.... I didn't change any configs files of PHP all is standard, the wp-config.php is correct, the Site is running fine.
From my point of view is this an issue by Plesk due to Parse error message at the files of Plesk, see error message!
System: OS Debian 7.8 Plesk Version 12.0.18 Update #43, zuletzt aktualisiert: 20. April 2015 13:17:36
I know with an older Version of Plesk 12.0.18 it was working fine too, so the bug was implemented with a MU.
I checked the file as well and find out that at all PHP files the code is not closed at the end so the "?>" is always missing.
I am getting the following error in Plesk, on the Applications page:
"APS Catalog error: Unable to parse the ATOM content. DOMDocument::loadXML(): Opening and ending tag mismatch: hr line 5 and body in Entity, line: 6"
Clearing cache (as advised here: [URL] ....) - does not work, unfortunately.
As I noticed, the error started to occur right after Plesk was updated to v11.5.30_build115130819.13
Found this error in files:
/opt/psa/var/cache# vi d3b08b981b493e5687c45518970bc225-1024-0.cache a:3:{s:3:"url";s:108:"http://catalog.marketplace.parallels.com/all-app.atom?obsolete=hide&pageSize=999999&order=%2Bname%2C-version";s:4:"time";i:1390479055;s:7:"content";s:166:"<html>
[Code] ....
In my browser, the API catalog URL gives the same "502 Bad Gateway" error: [URL] ....
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/.../public_html/enhu.com/includes/connection.php on line 5

How can I completely disable ALL notifications from plesk? We NEVER want plesk to notify customers of overages.
Not only do we want to disable all notifications but I want someone at parallels to know about the bug.. It notifies people that they are over or approaching limits when they aren't anywhere near it.. Here is a sample of one of the notifications emails sent. Names and emails changed of course...
Code: From: My Name [mailto:me@mydomain.com] Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2013 3:38 AM To: My Customer Name Subject: <host.mydomain.com> Notification: Resource usage by subscription has exceeded the allotments.
The 'domain.com' subscription, owned by user 'Customer Name', is approaching or already exceeded the resource usage limits:
Whenever I setup a new FTP user in Plesk and then configure my FTP client with exactly the same username and password and transfer files and folders onto the server then the file permissions allocated are incorrect. Folders get allocated a permission of 700 and files a permission of 600, whereas I want all folders to have a permission of 755 and files a permission of 644. How can I change my setup so that files and folders get the permissions I want ?
I have one subscription that shows incorrect statistics for the log file size. In the statistics pane it reports 130MB, while on the server in the /var/www/vhosts/domain/logs I only see 1.7MB.
Are there any other locations where logs are kept that are included in the statistics?
I deleted Nginx web server and reverse proxy support from Plesk. There is no this service on server, but I still see on the web server informations like nginx/1.6.0 at phpmyadmin page.
The Outgoing Mail Control feature is working fine. One missing option with this feature is to view the contents of blocked messages. Unfortunately, sometimes a site gets hacked and is sending spam. which are over the message sending limit, to try to find out where the message came from.
The current problem is that the email message contents of the limitation warning with subject "Attempts to exceed outgoing limits for domains, mail boxes and subscriptions." is not correct. Somehow it only contains the text: date.timezone = "Europe/Amsterdam" (which is a PHP setting) instead of a descriptive message. I hoped it would contain the blocked message contents or some useful text. Can I change the contents of this message to the what is should be? And what should it be?
It looks like a problem I had ones before where the custom PHP settings at the hosting packages level and at the domains level where replaced with some other kind of settings string. But solved by just changing the custom PHP settings
I am getting the "Function not implemented" error from /var/log/plesk/panel.log I have tried reading this article but it seems to only apply to Ubuntu and I am running CentOS 6 x64
But i see in the mail logs that from address is being overwritten using the default user for the domain. Is there anyway to configure plesk or postfix to respect those headers?
I'm experiencing some issue with the php function mail(). No mails can get out and no errors from php. Is there any menu where we can parameter this php function ? Do I need to check up some services ?
Outgoing mail control functions properly for domains, but it does not count or limit subdomains.
For example, if you have a subdomain like: sub.domain.tld
And an email account on that subdomain, like: info@sub.domain.tld
Then outgoing mail limits are not applied to that subscription/domain/mail account. You are able to send more emails than the limit.
Also, if you go to: -> Tools and Settings -> Outgoing mail control
And try to see statistics for that subscription/domain/mail account, it shows that there are not sent emails, even if you have sent emails. Of course I checked it many hours after sending, or even the next days.
I have just upgraded linux VPS running ubuntu 10. I installed all of the latest plesk updates first and then went through the upgrade. There were no pre-upgrade warnings and message at the end said it was successful but i'm now getting the following error instead of the login page:
When I click upgrade now at the plesk panel I get following error:
Parallels Panel pre-upgrade check... WARNING: The proftpd FTP service will fail to start in case the support for IPv6 is disabled on the server. Please check [URL] .... for details.
Is it safe to proceed? I guess it shall be automatically?
I'm using this script as a cron to generate DKIM keys for the domains I have. It's an easy script. And it does it's job just OK. I have the necessary software installed and configured.
The way it works is:
The script check if the domain in queue has a record for it. If it doesn't, OpenDKIM generates a one time DKIM record for mail._domainkey that I am entering to my dns records for all the domains I have.
After creating the DKIM record, it checks and deletes mail._domainkey records if there's any. Then adds the generated DKIM to plesk dns zones and disables/enables greylisting to create the appropriate dns entry.
If it does have a DKIM recors on the hdd already, then it removes
mail._domainkeyand TXT o=-entries.
After that it basically adds the already generated DKIM record and it disables/enables the greylisting for each domain in order to recreate "TXT o=-"
Up till here, it works fine. I can see these entries when I check the DNS Settings. They are there.
But whenever I run this script either via cron or manually, I get an error message on my panel: (You can check the screenshot as well)
Code:
Warning: The DNS zone was modified. If you would like to apply DNS template changes to this zone, either click the 'Apply DNS Template Changes' button on this page or choose the 'Apply the changes to all zones' option in Server Administration Panel > Tools & Settings > DNS Template Settings > Apply DNS Template Changes.
And unless I manually click "Apply DNS Template Changes" for EVERY SITE it doesn't go away.
So, I was wondering, is there a way to scriptize that command? Or how to prevent it?
This is the command I use to generate DKIM and add it to Plesk database, also if any such record exists, delete and re-write it:

I have been trying to make my sites better suited to anti spam measures. The only warning I have left to work out is:
Warning - Reverse DNS does not match SMTP Banner
In the Plesk settings i do have the outgoing mail setting set to Send from domain IP addresses and use domain names in SMTP greeting - still I get the warning.
I am using Post fix. This is a 1and1 dedicated server and I am using custom name servers for this domain. I believe the smtp banner is matching the main ip and not the domain.
