I have this issue if I try to open Control Panel-Tools and Settings-Application Vault and also if I click on Wordpress Toolkit.
I have tried to find the lib with this command:
find / ( -name libmysqlserver.so.2 -o -name libmyodbc.so ) -print 2>/dev/null
with this output:
/usr/lib64/sw/libmysqlserver.so.2
/usr/share/cagefs-skeleton/usr/lib64/sw/libmysqlserver.so.2
I think that the path is incorrect because I have red that it was be /usr/lib64/ and no /usr/lib64/sw/
I have red this link: [URL] ... but the path is /usr/lib64/ and also I have reinstall mysql-connector-odbc but with no success.
We've been experiencing a lot of trouble with novice customers that want to install an Application Vault package that has sub-optimal default settings, e.g.
customer wants to install wordpress, clicks on Application Vault -> wordpress -> "INSTALL"
This will install, without any questions for settings, wordpress into domain.com/wordpress - which is not what people want. I know that there is a button with teh drop down menu that shows "custom", however, people don't see/know about it and click "install".
Is there a way to remove / replace the "quick install" button and have the "install custom" as default.
We use CentOS Linux 7.0.1406 (Core) with Plesk Version 12.0.18 Update #27.
We have the following problem:
When a user clicks on a database in his account and tries to login with phpmyadmin, Plesk prompts for a Password of that specific user. The message is (in german):

Enter the password to log in as the database user xxxxxx
When i enter the correct password a new phpmyadmin window opens and the user can use his database. A few days ago you didnt have to enter a password at all. When you were logged into Plesk as a user, you could just click "Databases -> Webadmin" and phpmyadmin opened up without Plesk asking for a password.
The question for the password is NOT coming from phpmyadmin. Its from Plesk itself. After i enter the correct password plesk hands the request over to PMA.
For debugging i created a new database for a user and i could enter its database without any problem. No password was required. But the existing old databases now all require a password. So obviously Plesk is not aware of these passwords anymore. I guess they are/were stored somewhere.
We have access to apps enabled in subscriptions, but we only see Drupal as the Featured App. In all other Plesk servers, we've installed, it showed at least Drupal, WordPress and Joomla. How do we add Apps to the Featured section of Applications?

+ my antispam ( smarthost ) with IP ( a.b.c.d )
+ all my user in the plesk server with authentication
So i plan to set SPF checking on to Reject mail if SPF does not resolve to pass but
1. can't find option to whitelist my smarthost IP Is that option Local Rule: " v=spf1 ip4=a.b.c.d -all "
2. all of my user do not affected by the "Reject mail if SPF does not resolve to pass " right ?
an email notification for this is coming through every day. It says ended successfully so no errors...

If i go to Server -> Scheduled Tasks and look for it, it cannot be found anywhere. Also scheduled tasks only shows system users, not 'Plesk Administrator' as the kb articles refer to.
Simple... new Plesk 12 includes this fancy feature to tell me which Wordpress plugins and themes need updating (because I obviously can't do this myself). But maybe I don't want to update some plugins (because they've been customized and changed)... how do I....
STOP Plesk 12 from sending me Wordpress update notification emails EVERY DAY!???? The auto-update is off... and EVERY day is sends me (and all of those clients) an ugly email about their Wordpress installations. How do I turn this OFF?
I created a New Client Default Domain by copying plesk's original Default Domain.This template is for clients we move from older versions of plesk up to servers with plesk 12.x. Under resources for that "Service Plan Name"
I have Sites published with Presence Builder set to 0 and.Allow customer to create trial Presence Builder websites. Not checked.When I log in as the client I still see Presence Builder with edit Website.I also confirmed the correct plan was picked for that subscription by picking the new "New Client Default Domain" and under add-on plans I picked "remove"
But when I log in as the "client" to see what they would see I see Presence Builder and Edit Website available.How do I get rid of that selection?I can see a client clicking on it and basically over writing their current website.

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy new plesk 12 windows server was not showing the application vault (even after login as admin user). Hence I have changed the entry enabled = on in the file
C:Program Files (x86)ParallelsPleskadminconfpanel panel.ini as per [URL] ..... Now the application vault is showing well.
My question is, whether this is a new procedure change for Plesk 11/12? I believe, I used to see application vault enabled as default in all my other old servers.
Whenever I try to update the Plesk key via webinterface I receive the following error:

cURL error description: Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?)(77)
Checking via command line shows that the SSL certificate of ka.parallels.com on port 5224 is expired in 2004 (!)
As it worked until today, why the SSL cert check fails now?
Is it possible through Plesk Linux version on the root servers to update?If not and you will update the Debian itself, you have to note something? What should you back up before everything to make Plesk is working again? Is a complete reinstallation is required?

I have VPS Server with Parallels Plesk 11.5.30 (64 bits) on OVH.ORG..Today i do Update to newest version via https://MY-IP:8447

How can i repair it. I dont wanna install again Plesk Panel becouse i have a lot of configuration and email adress.All components like Apache Mysql, ftp works good, but i cant only login.
I've tried a few times to update php on my server from version 5.3 to the latest 5.5 however it keeps conflicting with apache2 that's installed and I ended up having to re-install everything as I accidentally deleted Plesk attempting to fix it.
Ideally I'd rather just run nginx with php-fpm without apache but it's not as straightforward anymore with plesk and how to go about updating PHP?
I've got a clean install of Parallels Plesk v12.0.18_build1200140606.15 running on Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS.
Symptoms are that two of my domains are not resolved anymore, one of which is my mail, the other the plesk default. So even I try to login by ip, it bounces to the default name and that does not resolve.
This probably happened yesterday morning and i see an autoupdate log, so i can't think what else would cause this out of the blue, since i am on holiday and have not touched the server for three weeks.
The log doesn't really have errors, just one warning i saw, about packages not beeing updated, using old ones. But that was only passenger, so ok i guess. The log is rather big and so i didn't read it all. It ends by saying patch for 12.0.18 will not be applied and errors in apt-get update, that i mentioned.
The domains were set up like many others that still work, as masters.
I can log in as root, so if i could just let me log in by ip again.

After each Plesk auto-update FTP server don't answer anymore.
We have to restart it with this commande line : /etc/init.d/xinetd restart
we have a problem with internal statistics in one of our servers with plesk, statistics don't update, trying command line at server with "/usr/local/psa/ admin/sbin/statistics --calculate-one --domain-name=domain.tld" we have this result:

We can update some domains from command line, but others fail and cron dont update any, maybe if one fail the cron command stop working?
how is it possible that after an update my main site is down? This site: www.orderhosting.it has plesk Panel and I have 20 sites. They work perfectly but my main site is off. I think there is an error in the configuration because:

After updating our server from plesk 11.5.30 to 12.0.18, one of our subscribers is receiving duplicate emails, a varying number anywhere between 5-15 of the same message!

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
Upgrade fails with message: Failed to update Panel.you can send the update log to Parallels support. View the update logs (May 22, 2014). Copy the logs to your computer before you close this message.
On one CentOS 6.5 Plesk 12.0.18 install (with all MUs applied) each time an admin logs in a notification is displayed ("Plesk was successfully updated. View detailed information on the updates.") and once a week the panel generates an email notification (Plesk panel updated successfully).
Other Plesk 12.0.18 servers that are set to automatically update aren't generating this email notification or displaying the "green" notification upon login to the Plesk Panel. Is there a flag, tmp file, or a DB trigger that isn't being set properly to cause this?

We have a VPS system running with Plesk but after a nightly automatic update there was a error message in Plesk, with a link to 'fix' the problem. After that Plesk stopped functioning. Now, when we log in with correct credentials (we know its correct because we if incorrect, we get a message its incorrect, so thats working) we're presented with this error:
