When i do full backup and download this backup, plesk create a temporary file inside directory /usr/local/psa/tmp but after download finish this file is not deleted, and this is causing problem because i have a server with small disk space.
I have a 6GB backup file created with another Plesk Backup Manager, now I trying to upload this backup file to my Plesk Backup Manager but after upload 3% I am getting "413 Request Entity Too Large" error, I tried with disable NGINX but still getting this error.
how can I resolve this error or is their any other way to upload my file on backup manager?
I see that Backup Manager have a file size restriction of 2GB how can I increase this?
Whenever I am trying to take backup through Parallels Plesk (Plesk version:12.0.18 Update #53) getting an error "Error: Insufficient disk space for backup. "
Default backup location is '/var/lib/psa/dumps' with enough space (Near 1TB). Then why showing above error message?
Version Details: Version Parallels Plesk v12.0.18_build1200140811.16 os_CentOS 7 OS CentOS Linux 7.1.1503 (Core)
I am having problems with two accounts, I get the following errors:
Code: Failed to copy files storage to destination path. stderr: filemng: Cannot open destination file '/var/www/vhosts/domain.tld/httpdocs/index.html.Chn3rn' System error 122: Disk quota exceeded stdout: filemng: Cannot open destination file '/var/www/vhosts/domain.tld/httpdocs/index.html.Chn3rn' System error 122: Disk quota exceeded
I am trying to restore a backup that Parallels Plesk made (latest version) and I used to get the option at some point to replace everything. Now, I only get the options to select what I want to restore and it fails because it says certain things, domains, content is already there.
I can't find the option anymore that allows me to say replace everything during the backup. Was that removed? If so, I'd really....really like it back.

I was running on a Ubuntu 10.04 LTS VPS and had this error too, then yesterday imported the domain from the old VPS to our new Plesk Server (Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS) and I still get this error on this one domain.
This is the error in question...

When you delete a site backup from its "Backup Manager" Panel, it is removed and no longer displayed in the Panel. However, I cannot tell if this action actually does anything with the real site backup files in "/var/lib/psa/dumps". Does this action merely remove it from PSA's database but not touch any actual files? If this is true, then how are site backup files supposed to be managed if this action doesn't actually delete them?
Since Microupdate 11.0.9 #52/#53 I get the following error from my scheduled backup:
<description>Failed to pack files back__domainname_mn_1306110314 in /var/lib/psa/dumps/xy/clients/xy/domains/domainname [ 945838637056 bytes free of 980876906496 bytes total on mount point 0]</description>
Some related problems have already been discussed here in the forum (e.g.: .... or this one: ...., but it all did not quite match with my problem.
I have a scheduled backup set on my panel, to backup all server configuration and content, and is set to run every week. I also set to keep only 1 backup on repository, but this config doesn't seem to work! My hard drive is getting full all the time, and when I check that its because theres a lot of old backups stored that are not getting removed!
My question is: the backup script removes the old files only at the end or it does it while backing up? If the action of removal happens only at the end of the script, i think it would explain why it isn't working: my hard drive gets full before, and the script drops an error, and never get to the end of it and it doesn't remove the old backups.

I'm running Plesk 12.0.18 on Centos 7, recently I've got emails from backup service stating that it could not complete the backup due to insufficient space available on disk. Normally I have plenty of disk space available so I check the disk using the command
df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/root 20G 2.3G 17G 13% / /dev/md2 91G 82G 4.4G 95% /var
it seems that /var has been growing up a lot, but if I run the command du -sh /var I get a total size of 5.7G (not 82G as stated before)
is Plesk calculating the wrong size or it's me using the wrong commands?
We have Plesk installed with a dedicated disk on /opt. System disk is about 20 GB, data disk is about 220 Gb.There is 190 Gb free on the data disk (mounted on /opt).
But when we try to increase allocated space for a domain, Plesk says that there's enough disk space..Is there any change or adjustement on Plesk we can do, so Plesk will check space on the good disk ?
I have a customer on a 250MB hosting plan and has been using approximately 450MB for the past few days but hasn't received a resource overuse email.
In my notifications I have "Resource usage limits exceeded by subscription" set to send myself and the customer an email but neither of us have received anything.
I have multiple backups stored under server repository (subscriptions --> <domainname> --> website and domains --> backup manager).
The physical files are located at: /var/lib/psa/dumps/clients/904279/domains/<domainname>/
When I click the green arrow to download these files to a local computer (see attached image) I get a new page with title "Download the backup file". On this page I have the option to set a password on the downloaded file, but no matter what I do (password or no password) the file is not downloaded to my local PC. I don't get a pop-up box with the option to save the file. Just nothing happens ...
Firstly I wonder if there is any possibility to limit the number of cores the plesk backup zipping tool uses? This pigz takes up all my CPU. Is there any way I can reduce the amount of cores it uses because all my websites are down every time a backup takes place for around 3 minutes.
Secondly I get the following in my syslog:
1 baby plesk sendmail[20189]: Error during 'check-quota' handler
I don't know what is wrong. I think it's since the upgrade to Plesk 12. I now have 12.0.18 Update #13.
I have an Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64 bit virtual private server with Plesk 12. The server is hired from a hosting provider. The server is used to run the Odoo ERP application (using postgres database).
The Odoo application is running fine and now I want to create a backup of the application using Plesks Backup manager.
I choose configurations and content option in the backup manager but the created backup is only 200kb.
I think the problem is the location where the Odoo application is installed is not included in the backup. I made a tar backup from the server and extracted it on my pc. It seems that the main parts of the Odoo application are in the var, opt, etc and usr directories (not in a domain but under root).
Installing the application in a domain would solve the Plesk backup issue I think but the installation script of Odoo puts Odoo in var, opt, etc and usr directories even if I put the install script in the directory of a created domain. Since the manual Odoo installation is complicated I am very happy to use the script.
My questions are:
1. Is it possible to include the directories var, opt, etc and usr in the Plesk backup and how and where do I do that?
2. Can I restore such a backup without no problem in Plesk?
We have a lot of server with Plesk Panel 30 domains. We have migrated a website with a 2 Go disk space quota on a virtual server with Web Admin Plesk Panel License. So, we don't have field (or we don't find...) to update this value (or delete it). The website disk usage is now 2.1 Go. Every day, we have an email alert.
I have Plesk 12 on Centos6.I require a list of every subscription which has consumed the most data on the server. Disk space used by the following files and directories in the subscription:
The Plesk bible only listed that this was possible through Subscriptions > Statistics. URL....However viewing the Subscriptions > Statistics is not an option because there are many subscriptions..I also have access to SSH/terminal and found a script for finding large file and directories here URL....However i rather have it in excel or HMTL format.
I'm using Plesk 12.0.18 version with Windows 2012. I need to backup files to remote ftp server. Remote server configuration is Windows 2012 with IIS server. It works with ftp clients very well.
But, i have a problem about Personel FTP Repository. I open Personal FTP Repository Settings and write all boxes with true information about remote ftp server but it says "Transport error: unable to list directory: Curl error: Login denied".
Ftp server works fine with ftp clients and cpanel backups.
I am runing ubuntu server 64bit with plesk v.11.5.30, phpmyadmin v.4:3.4.10.1-1.
When i try to acces phpmyadmin from : myserverIP/phpmyadmin - it gives me 500 error.
When I try to acces phpmyadmin from: mydomainserver/phpmyadmin - it saves file at login into the disk instead login. I was going through different threads on the web to solve that problem but no success at all.
I have real basic knowledge about webservers, phpmyadmin and mysql server. I am runing my first cloud server just few days.
There is no possibility to access preconfigured phpmyadmin from plesk according that thread: link So what for do I need plesk?
I have a new CentOS 7, with Plesk 12, CentOS 7 by default has XFS filesystem.
I try migrate sites from another Plesk Server but Plesk agent say: "hard disk quota is not supported due to configuration of server file system" (my CentOS 7)
I added "usrquota,grpquota", then mount -o remount / ; but when I try quotacheck -fmv / I gest this:
[root@ns ~]$ quotacheck -fmv / quotacheck: Skipping /dev/mapper/centos-root [/] quotacheck: Cannot find filesystem to check or filesystem not mounted with quota option.
but quotaon command works:
[root@ns ~]$ quotaon / quotaon: Enforcing group quota already on /dev/mapper/centos-root quotaon: Enforcing user quota already on /dev/mapper/centos-root
The problem here is why Plesk does not recognize quotas as enabled on CentOS 7??
I migrated from one server running Plesk 10.4.4 Update #59 to a new server running Plesk 11 which I then updated to 12.0.18 Update #32. Since moving to Plesk 12 the "Notify when disk space/traffic usage reaches" emails have been being sent to our customers set up on the server whereas previously they were sent to the server admin email address.
