Plesk 12.x / Linux :: Define Expiration Date For Package In Domain
Jan 20, 2015
I define expiration date for my package in my domain and after that date my domain still active. I think this problem related to statistic. When I run this command manullay i'v got the error.
After the upgrade of our Plesk installation from 9.5x to 11.5.30Everything works ok (sites, sites with databases, Plesk etc)but when I go to Home>Tools & Settings> Backup Manager.I see errors on every daily backup I have on schedule:
The backup Plesk_Daily_Full_Backup_1407060112.tar has completed with warnings. (View the details) Close this message
Error:mysql "myuser_drupal" Unable to define superuser password for mysql server on localhost

How to update out of date components included in VPS? For instance...
rkhunter is at v1.3.4 whereas the current version is 1.4.2. Why both about updating? Well, in part to reduce the number of false-positive warnings and in part to gain more current protection.
A yum update isn't possible as 1.4.x has moved on quite significantly from 1.3.x and while downloading and installing rkhunter isn't terrible difficult, trying to get it to update the 1.3.4 version included with VPS seems somewhat more difficult...
SpamAssassin is at v3.3.1-3 whereas 3.4.0 is the current release version and 3.3.2 is no longer supported, meaning 3.3.1 is definately way out of support. Why bother? Better spam detection and blocking
When VPS will update to something nearer current versions of both of these components?
Trying to access any APS installed in Plesk i obtain this error: Internal error: Package with UID 'fb00f4ad-620a-4052-96b7-398bd99d9d6d' not found. The error panel.log:
[19-Dec-2014 13:17:19 Europe/Berlin] Exception: Package with UID 'fb00f4ad-620a-4052-96b7-398bd99d9d6d' not found. file: /usr/share/aps_php/aps_php.php line: 12519

This post change the error, but i think that is not the correct way: [URL] ..... Any way to reinstall/regenerate APS database and anything related with it?
I ordered a domain from Name and a shared hosting package from Hawk Host. How do I set them up so they work together? I thought all I had to do was add the Hawk Host name servers to my Name account but that doesn't seem to be helping. I don't have any webpages up yet but I do have some files uploaded to be used as a redirect for a game server. The redirect isn't loading properly most of the time and when I type my domain name into a browser my directory won't show up either, just the parking page. I ordered both of these last week.
When I hit my server's domain it redirects me to one of the hosted sites' domain with a 302 redirect. It used to return the default plesk server page. How can I cancel the redirect?
After upgrading the panel from 10.4.4 to 11.5.30 Update #23, I am not able to sort domains based on the "Renewal Date" column. With 10.4.4, I was able to sort. Is there anyway I can do this on 11.5.30?
I'm using Earthlink to host a website, but I think this question is valid for any host.
If you have a hosting account that's on a windows server/MS Windows based and want to switch to a Linux/Unix server account, how would you do this without any downtime?
I assume when they switch the account, all DNS related entries have to be updated so you won't be able to reach the website for a day or so.
I am running plesk 11.05 Plesk on windows server. I have noticed this things twice...
While migrating accounts one server to another Smartermail not showing actual mail received date. For all accounts and emails Smartermail showing Migration date..
My more than 10000 emails showing migration date as received date..
I wish to auto shut the expired accounts on server, cpanel does not have any such functionality so i could not do this. Once i posted in this forum and recommendation was to install the billing software for cpanel/whm. After I found they are comprehensive products and not easy to use/install/troubleshoot.
I just want to set the expiration of domains in WHM so when they complete their tenure they should be closed it self. Could you people advise what can i do this with minimum efforts?
I dont need any billing system just to handle expiration of accounts.
I would appreciate if you can give me a stable solution with product name as i am concerned about my server stability and security as well. [url]
I have used e2fsck on linux server hard disk (CentOS 5.0) and the result :

I don't know the exact meaning of the displayed result , does it mean bad sectors? How much the e2fsck is reliable? Is there any better Linux utility to check bad sectors on Western Digital HDD?
I have a website where people perform a number of tasks, saving some data to temporary session files. If the user is idle for a certain amount of time, then performs an action, his/her work will be gone.
I'd like to set the sessions to never expire, so that only a browser close would delete the temporary files.
I've tried looking around in the IIS manager, but I cannot find a way to do this.
I issued a self-signed certificate for Exim by running the following commands:
Code: openssl req -new -x509 -keyout /etc/exim.key.tmp -out /etc/exim.cert openssl rsa -in /etc/exim.key.tmp -out /etc/exim.key rm -f /etc/exim.key.tmp service exim restart The problem is the certificate expires after one month. I have already edited my /usr/share/ssl/openssl.cnf with the following lines in order to increase this expiration time to one year and it worked for the SSL certificate issued for Apache, but it has no effect on the Exim certificate.
Code: default_days = 365 # how long to certify for default_crl_days= 365 # how long before next CRL
Should I edit another file or set it on another place? Does anyone know?
what do you consider unlimited? Is unlimited simply a marketing term? I've seen a few host go from offer 1000mb to just listing it as unlimited.
I could understand that after some time a person may become confused once they start using too many resources but was the "unlimited" just a trend other hosting companies have followed? or do you congregate somewhere and decided, hey we should do unlimited, lol.
I'm curious because I see these "unlimited" plans a lot, as a consumer I'm really starting to focus more on plans that do listed in numbers what you get as appose to just seeing the word unlimited.
For a Magento shop I want assign a dedicated IP to a domain. When I choose this second IP in “Subscriptions” --> Change Hosting Settings” and then select this IP under “Tools and Settings --> IP Addresses” as dedicated (or shared too) for this domain, calling the domain results in the Webserver´s default Plesk Page.
The Shopsite is not shown, but was working well with the shared standard IP.
Calling the IP directly with the browser shows the start page of the shop in raw HTML ( no CSS ).
I am trying to change the default php settings under domain (upload_max_filesize & post_max_size) but nothing happens. I am running PHP 5.5 in FastCGI. I also changed it to Centos default PHP (5.4.16) but nothing happens again. It only works when PHP runs as Apache module. The problem is on FastCGI Application.
My server: Centos 7, Plesk 12 Check the screenshot for installed components.
Plesk 12. Using the "Corporate/Business" -> "Power User view".
Where do you add a Domain Alias? The webspace has no option to add this and all documentation I've found so far seems to indicate there should be a button that says add domain or add domain alias.
There is some problem with my email and developer tell me this yesterday:
To view DNS records for a domain you need to (after loging in as admin) click on the domain name, then choose DNS Settings. Mx record is configured correctly there, but they are not taken into consideration.
You should change the nameservers from the registrar to the nameservers of your hosting. Right now the following are used: ns-canada.topdns.com. hostmaster.topdns.com .
They should be either the nameservers received from the hostings, or if you did not received any then you will have to create them, on the registrar side and on your hosting side.
So you should go to your registrar and change the nameservers for your domain. Do not just change the ip for the main A record. After you do this you will need to wait a while for the changes to propagate.
On my registrar have i set in my server ip but when him do a test here: [URL] ....
I want to setup a domain alias without www in front of it. A quite simple task in the past...but not with Plesk 12. So I have a service domain (for example: service.com) that I use for ALL clients. But each client has only a subdomain of it as alias in his account. so client1.service.com, client2.service.com....and so on. And only that subdomain...nothing more...for each account. How to achieve that in Plesk 12?
Error: IP addresses for mail service of domain <domain> are not set..This is error I'm getting. It was working some time ago, but now I cannot create new domain.
