I have install Plesk 11.5.3 on my Windows Server 2008 r2. I want to try Mailenable on the PleskServer, so i installed the feature, but know when I am calling the webmailer with http:webmail.domainname.de works fine, but when I try https://webmail.domainname.de i become a Not found: HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found
There is a bug in the current Plesk version 12, which was encountered on many of our Plesk 12 server until now. I do have Plesk 12.0.18 Update #23 with CentOS 6.
When a customer changes for example the document root of a domain nginx does not recognize it and the administrator of the server do have to restart nginx manually.
This issue is serious because CSS, JS and images are not working on such a page where a customer changed the document root. Nginx is throwing 404 error until nginx is restarted manually.

i am relatively new to Plesk, i ordered a vserver with Plesk a couple of months ago and spend a lot of time setting everything up and developing several new websites. I am used to developping new websites on a hidden adress (sth like domain.com/dev/ instead of the top level) and then switch the document root to point to the hidden directory when all is done. This practice has served me and my clients well for the last 10 years.
Using the Plesk features like built-in applications seemed like a good idea at the time but wanting to switch the new websites live i have now found out that Plesk won't let me do this since..It is impossible to change document root because there are web applications installed on this website.
I had read somewhere on the interweb that the v12 would let me do this so i just spent the better part of today updating to v12 .. but alas no luck, the limitation is still there. Is there a way to remove this limitation ?
I've just recently installed Plesk Panel 11.5. Previously I was using a basic IIS Mail Server with the current server allowed to relay messages for my Web Sites.After installing Plesk, I went to Tools & Settings -> Server-Wide Mail Settings. In there, I have relaying set to Authorization is required (SMTP) and for the relay access I have the following 3 entries:

The e-mail accounts that I'm using to send mail from has nothing to do with this server and it's domains, I'm just trying to set the mail server to start sending mails like my IIS server used to.I've found the setting to Open Relay on the server and have activated it, yet whenever one of the websites attempts to send a mail, the same response is received.Mailbox unavailable. I've paid for a site to do some harding of my new server and I'm not up to speed with it all yet.[url]
They say they've completed it but I can not find any config files for mod_dosevasive in my httpd.conf file. Is there a way I can check to see what packages or software or tools are installed on the server?
When trying to access any files or pages I'm getting the error:"Not Found...The requested URL /wp-login.php was not found on this server.Apache Server at calmcomputing.net Port 80"
The standard default page displays but my Wordpress installation does not (nor does anything for that matter). I've looked in the file manager (and via ftp) and all the files are there like they should be. This is the same for any of the subdomains that I've setup as well.
i went to server setting and checked manage php with nginx then start getting 404 Not Found nginx. It was clear that it s a problem with the wordpress permanent links so i went in wordpress back-end and switched to default links then it start working but when i switched to permanent link againi got the previous error again

Unfortunately today the mailboxes of two domains were "gone". The mailbox was still there physically but no mails would be delivered into the mailbox, nor could the user connect to it.

The only solution that worked for me was to delete the mailbox, create it again and copy the old mails back. That problem only occured in two cases (two domains of one customer). All his other domains worked like a charm and no other customer was affected.
I've got VPS from OVH and on all my websites have problem. Any graphics / layouts / themes are not displayed but only texts and links on white background.

I'm running a brand new installed VPS with CentOS 6.6 and Plesk 12.0.18. I created a subscription and by default a FTP user is created. However, I cannot login with these credentials. I also created a new user but the same problem presists. I'm 100% sure that the username and password is correct.
Filezilla gives me and 530 Login incorrect. But if I look at the /var/log/secure file, I see this odd message (FTP username = test):

No such user found, although it is created with Plesk.

my Plesk 12 upgrade went very smoothly. There is only one domain that I can not access from within the Plesk panel (it happens to be my primary domain). I get the following error:

I have Plesk Panel 11.5.30 # 48 installed on my rented vServer, which is virtualized with Parallels Virtual Automation / Plesk Power Panel. I cannot upgrade to Plesk Panel 12.x because my contract just includes a license for 11.x.

I'm migrating some websites from old server with virtualmin, some websites have files with special characters as à ,ö,ç etc...
On the other server the files (images for example) are served well but on the new server with plesk 11.5 error 404 appears. (Nginx reverse proxy is activated)...
I am running CentOS Linux 7.0.1406 (Core) with Plesk Version 12.0.18 Update #19.
Customers who use Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird cannot send Emails through IMAP (Courier) because their mailclients say "Cannot write to sent Folder" even when there is a "Sent" Folder in the IMAP Structure existing. It is also subscribed by the Client.
Outlook Users have to go to: file - account settings > account settungs > Change > more Settings > advanced > root Folder path and enter the word inbox
Mozilla Users have to enter "INBOX." under advanced IMAP Settings in Thunderbird.
So my question is: Why is that ? And cant i Change something as admin on the Server side so all customers dont have to Panic and set an inbox Folder path in their mailclients ?
For customers it has to work without Client-side configuration...
I have been using managed servers for all of my webhosting career. I just decided to try to do it all on my own and of course, here come the growing pains.
I went with Linode for my new hosting provider. I followed their guides to get the initial setup done, minus setting up MariaDB.
I then went ahead and installed Plesk 12. The install went off without a hitch. But, now that I try to hit my hostname:8443, I get a 404.
I have done the following in an attempt to resolve the issue:
- Restart the server - Restart the sw-cp-server - Remove the /etc/sw-cp-server/conf.d/agent.conf (which didn't exist)
I currently migrate from cpanel to plesk12. Everything is working fine, but the emails are no been received, I´m able to send, but not able to receive.
