I'm trying to create a network connection from Windows (8.1) to my Plesk filesharing folder, which should be straight forward. For some strange reason my Windows desktop PC doesn't establish the connection but shows me an error message, saying that the provided folder is invalid (see attached images).

I am new to plesk. How can I create a user which has only rights to start a scp-connection to one folder.

I have several users using WordPress that has been installed using the Plesk panel. They want to change the directory that WordPress is installed to. I know if that is done that WordPress will no longer be able to be managed or updated using the Panel. Is there any way to change the folder structure so that this application can still be managed by Plesk?
I had a Problem with my FTP-Backup space, so PLESK couldn't do the daily backups that I configured. The problem with the ftp backup is solved. The backups are running again but there are still many large temporary files in a plesk folder.
Can I just delete them, or is this a bad idea?

I have noticed that i never install any program on my Server and my files of Web only 5 GB and Windows take 15 GB (My Hard Disk Usage 30 GB). Now my disk space available 1.7 GB. But when i go to check in the Recycler folder. There many files are taking up huge amounts of space, some are in excess of 10 GB . So could i deleting these files? How can I automatically delete contents of Recycler folder?

When I try to access with a ftp account on the server itself it works well, however when I try to access it from a client PC it get these errors :

On the client PC I configured Filezilla in Passive mode with "Require explicit FTP over TLS".
Normally for the firewall only the port 21 is needed or am I wrong (with explicit FTP and passif configured)?

I'm SURE this is me being stupid but I cannot find where to change folder permissions in the new Plesk interface?
I go to the file manager but all I have are the basic file/folder operations (Create, Delete, Upload File, etc) - I can't find anywhere to change permissions on the folders to give the MYSERVER_IUSR permission, etc.

I took an image of a configured Plesk 11 server and deployed the image to a new server (new hardware and IPs).
The goal now is to reconfigure Plesk on the new server to use the new IP addresses.
I open the PP Reconfigurator, and select "Change server IP addresses".

I've had a problem to get a connection to my websites via https. My Plesk is version 12.0.18 an it runs on ubuntu 14.04 LTS. I have installed the certificate in that way: URL.... The SSL in that repository is activated in the hosting settings. I've activated and deactivated them a several times. The nginx.conf and the httpd.conf seems to be all fine.

After auto-updates I cannot connect to all my sites in ftp with filezilla.

I have restored permissions with:
/usr/local/psa/bin/repair --restore-vhosts-permissions but also in this case it cannot work for me.

My Plesk Panel 11.0.9 Update #26 is running on a dedicated Debian 6.0.6 server and works all fine, but I'm having some issues with the backups. I'm doing backups using the standard build in GUI backup manager. Everything works fine, even the cron job which copies the backup files every night to a second location. The problem I'm having is, that I can't specify folders to exclude from the backup. The reason why I need this is, that I have a 24TB RAID mounted in the /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com folder and this will be a problem once the RAID is filling up.

I'm trying to copy a backup from the FTP server to the production server but I don't have enough space in the tmp folder.
There is a way to change where the backups are temporary until the hole backup is on the server? In case the only thing to do is to change where the tmp folder is mounted. This is a production server, I won't like to do it without knowing all the steps.

the problem is very big since backup procedure not backup all files and folder. I have a lot of Wordpress installations (some of that made with App Installer and others made by hand).
Into all the above installations, files and folder created by Wordpress, like plugin installed or image, uploaded are not backup!
I have seen that all this files come with www-data:www-data user and group but with read permissions for owner, group and others, so i not able to understand why they are not inside my backups. If i change user and group all works fine.
Check your Wordpress backup and verify the presence of plugin and images (miniature of images are still present since they are created with different user and group)...
I'm having a problem when copying folders into another folder using the same name.e.g. there's a folder called css in httpdocs/backup/css and also httpdocs/css. However, I'm trying to restore the backup and actually copy the /css dir from httpdocs/backup to httpdocs. Plesk should overwrite the existing target css dir (and its content/files) in httpdocs/css. However, Plesk creates a new css dir inside httpdocs/css so I have the "original" httpdocs/css dir content intact and also the css dir (from httpdocs/backup/css) copied into httpdocs/css so the full path is httpdocs/css/css
I'm highlighting the httpdocs (not /css dir) in the File manager - Copy Files window. I've tried that on a few installs and experiencing issue on each of them. Please see the attached screenshots.
Step 1. Select (check) the css dir and click copy (or move, result is the same)
Step 2. Mark the httpdocs dir (it doesn't matter if you click the Replace existing files checkbox)
Step 3. Final result, css dir from httpdocs/backup copied into httpdocs/css/
I've compared the dir content several times and definitely the css dir from httpdocs/backup is copied to httpdocs/css so the full path would be: http docs/css/css and the original "old" files from css will remain there.
We have an offsite location that is connection to our server with 56K and being shared with 10 users, I know hard to believe. Itâs all wired up with cables and a switch. I want to upgrade the connection with DSL. I donât believe I have to change out any hardware (router, ect).
All would have to do is maybe change the network settings in each users computers.
I have a server with multiple domains with different ips on a server. All of a sudden the connection to one of the ips went down. I cannot ping from outside networks but I am still able to ping/access the server through other servers inside the same block of ips.

All current websites on the server seem to work fine any new subscriptions we cannot get working at all.
We can connect via FTP to new sites SOMETIMES - just cant get directory listing. When we can connect and get into a directory it slows down.
In Active mode:
Command:MLSD
Response:425 Unable to build data connection: Connection refused
Error:Failed to retrieve directory listing
Install Wordpress via the Parallels panel it loads and says it is all there, just can't log or display any pages. The default Parallels page is displayed.
Upload a html page via the File Manager in Parallels and it displays the default Parallels page.
Unpack the Wordpress tar file via File Manager and it displays the default Parallels page.
The Wordpress feature in Parallels says it is working fine, can't display any page, can't log in as it returns a 404 page or the default Parallels page.
Create a site in Presence builder and Parallels says there is a site. The default Parallels page is displayed when opening the site.
Go to DOMAINS and there is 0mb in space used and there are files listed in the File Manager - none of which can be displayed.
