Plesk 11.x / Linux :: Different IP For Domains In Same Subscription
Jun 5, 2014
I understand it is not possible to move a domain to another subscription, or to create a new subscription with an existing domain name. The problem I have is I wish to use a different IP address for a domain within a single subscription. I need to do this to establish SSL cert on one of the domains.
URL....I trying to solve the problem fixing the psa.Parameters table, however i cannot find the relation between id on Parameters table and domains table.
My plesk 12 is working, but one subscription doest show, or any of the domains.
Doing some digging got to this:
[root@server src]# /usr/local/psa/bin/sw-engine-pleskrun check_db_integrity-beta.php PHP Notice: Undefined variable: PLESK_DB_HOST in /usr/local/src/check_db_integrity-beta.php on line 240 List of records in [psa.domains.cl_id] that miss a matching record in [psa.clients.id] 0 List of records in [psa.dom_level_usrs.dom_id] that miss a matching record in [psa.domains.id] 27, 32, 36, 43, 61, 83, 86

I have plesk 12.0.18 Update #9 Fresh installation. When i'm done with adding an subscription i get this error:
New configuration files for the Apache web server were not created due to the errors in configuration templates:
Template processing failed: file = /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/templates/default/domainVhost.php, error = Template_Exception: No data. file: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/Template/Processor.php line: 28 code: 0 Previous error: Template_Variable_Exception: No data. file: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/Template/Variable/AbstractCachedData.php line: 67 code: 0. I have mine Custom billing Panel Today my Developer start code API for it by Docs that Parallels given but we got stuck on Subscription...
if we set login name and password API shows this error While creating subscription
Error 2204 Unable to update hosting preferences. Unable to check system user existence: login name is empty It happens only while creating the subscription...
Creating of user is working fine only subscription don't want work and we don't know why we tried many things and none of it works.
I'm using the API to dynamically create new subscriptions. However, I frequently never receive a response back for my request.
I have enabled graceful restart, which has made an improvement, but my requests still fail to return a response every now and then.
This is problematic, because the script needs to know whether the subscription has been successfully created or not. Often times, when the script times out, the subscription was successfully created. But Once and and a while that's not true, and it is causing inconsistencies in my system.
I manage 1 server with 5 domains. I use the panel as power user (unique user)
I want to assign a new IP to a domain. In the hosting setting there is no IP to choose and in the IP tab if I click on the IP there is no domains to choose becouse all the domains are assigned to the primary IP...
I'd like to set IP in the hosting setting of the domain...
We get this same error on every subscription we create. It doesn't seem to affect anything but it's more of an annoyance than anything. It did it on plesk 11.5 and now with plesk 12.
Is it possible to set the subscription shell option of an subscription via xml api? I see it is possible via cmd "/usr/local/psa/bin/subscription -u {subscription} -shell /usr/local/psa/bin/chrootsh" But how is it possible via xml api?
I'm using plesk with PBAS to provision subscriptions.I have it set to allow all users all applications in their permissions. However, on all the subscriptions, under the "General" -> "Customize" -> "Applications" tab, it always has the checkbox: "Provide only applications that I select" checked, so they can't see any applications. How can I get the checkbox unselected for every subscription (and any new subscriptions) ?
When you create a subscription for a customer, there is a php max memory assignment in the service plan. I am wondering if the max memory is based on per website customer creates or it is based on per account..
if it is based on per website, that means if a customer create 100 website under one subscription....and per php max memory is 256m, that means they will be using max. 256mx100...is that correct?
Is there any way to do resource throttling by subscription? What I would like to do is limit the CPU resources to all of the subscriptions equally, as some subscriptions are eating away the CPU all the time.
Version Parallels Plesk v12.0.18_build1200140606.15 os_Debian 7.0 OS Debian 7.7
Which Event Handler gets fired when a subscription is created? I've tried both "Hosting settings created" and "Default domain (the first domain added to a subscription/webspace) created" but those don't seem to be firing when I create a new subscription. After creating the Event Handler the psa service was restarted each time. I have a script setup to just log the NEW_DOMAIN_NAME to a file, but that isn't happening.
When creating a new subscription via the API (Plesk 12) is there a way to specify the Mail settings? More importantly is there a way to turn off Mail when setting up a new subscription? Each time I create a subscription via the API Plesk spits out the following error:
Code: New configuration files for the Apache web server were not created due to the errors in configuration templates: Template processing failed: file = /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/templates/default/domainWebmail.php, error = Template_Exception: Empty content was provided for config file /etc/httpd/conf/plesk.conf.d/webmails/horde/demon3zxc.e-worksmedia.com_webmail.conf file: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/Template/Writer/Webserver/Abstract.php line: 47 code: 0.
When changing the subscriber of migrated (or new subscriptions) from a normal customer to another normal customer or reseller customer I sometimes get the following message:
Code: Reassigning Selected Subscriptions ERROR: PleskFatalException Picker not supported
When going back to the subscription overview I get the following error message:
When adding a subscription with a certain plan, I get this error"Error: The plan was not applied: Custom changes in PHP settings" almost instantly after I initiated the creation of the new subscription. Another service plan doesn't have the issue, and though I tried finding the reason why one works while the other doesn't I simply wasn't able to. The service plan in question is used for over 40 others without a problem just when I select it for a new subscription, I get the mentioned error message.I am using Plesk 12 on Linux, all latest updates installed.
Error when trying to set atomic subscription rule:
Failed to install the ModSecurity rule set: SecReadStateLimit is depricated, use SecConnReadStateLimit instead. Syntax error on line 70 of /etc/httpd/conf/modsecurity.d/rules/atomic/modsec/00_asl_zz_strict.conf: Error creating rule: Could not add entry "127.0.0.0/8" from: 127.0.0.0/8.
In directory /etc/httpd/conf/modsecurity.d/rules I have only: atomic.new modsecurity_crs-plesk tortix tortix.backup
I can't switch a subscription to another service plan, my conf is very simple.I have on reseller account with service pack "Default Reseller".This reseller account contains 1 client with custom subscription.
When I want to switch the pack to another service plan, I have only one choice : "No change" so I cannot.I have 4 service plan so I don't know how to solve this problem.
I have done many tests and always fails.= Plesk 9.5 to Plesk 12 =
I perform a migration with several domains from Plesk 9.5 and Plesk 12, it runs well. Then I remove all the migrated domains in Plesk 12 server. Then I perform a new migration with the same domains from the same server with Plesk 9.5 to the same server with Plesk 12 and it fails. The reason is that Plesk 12 doesn't remove the databases attached to the subscriptions. The new migration tries to deploy the databases and it can't because the same databases with the same users are deployed already.
I tried to remove the databases with `plesk bin database` and it was not enough. Maybe the same error will show when you migrate from Plesk 11.5/12 to Plesk 12.
I have a problem in PLESK.I want to create in an existing subscription a second domain to host another site (this subscription already contains a domain).Clicking CREATE DOMAIN (in the subscription), here's the error message I get: IP addresses of domain for email services are not set (thus the domain can not be created).
Not sure if all notifications are working or not but I do know that when I create a new customer with a new subscription no notification is received. I have tested with several email addresses.
I have a subscription and I'm able to switch the subscription to a given service-plan, but I'm unable to sync the subscription with the plan, using the CLI. These are my commands:
result => The subscription <domain.com> is now associated with the service plan Hosting..When watching the webinterface in Plesk, I see the domain is "connected" to the service plan, so far so good. However, I notice that the subscription is not synced.
Back to the CLI, I've tried some combinations, but I can't get the subscription synced. The webbased interface keeps telling me that the subscription is unsynced. Here is what I've tried:
And I also unlocked it (just in case it was locked) like so: /usr/local/psa/bin/subscription --unlock-subscription <domain.com>
The funny part is that the CLI tells me: "Subscription <domain.com> was synchronized with the associated service plans." but unfortenately it's not if I look through the GUI. Only if I click the sync-option webbased the subscription get synced. we have to transfer over 1000 domains and need to sync these domains with a given service-plan.
if i create a new mailaccount in the power-user panel and i dont log in into the webmailer, so the "subscription" file is not created.
that means there is no way to sent emails with the new created account with external mail clients (Thunderbird), because there is no "sent" or "drafts" folder.
the problem disappears, if i log into the webmailer after creating a new mailaccount.
is there any other way to fix this bug? i want plesk 12 to create the "standard" folders (Trash, Drafts, Sent, Spam) automatically.
I have Plesk 12 on Centos6.I require a list of every subscription which has consumed the most data on the server. Disk space used by the following files and directories in the subscription:
The Plesk bible only listed that this was possible through Subscriptions > Statistics. URL....However viewing the Subscriptions > Statistics is not an option because there are many subscriptions..I also have access to SSH/terminal and found a script for finding large file and directories here URL....However i rather have it in excel or HMTL format.
keep a local and remote backup of certain subscriptions or at least have a full server backup on FTP.
I have a livedrive.com reseller account which allows be to quite cheaply add 512GB of remote storage accessible through SFTP, FTP and WebDAV. I created this partition and added it as a server-level FTP repository in Plesk 12 (latest build). During testing I added a firewall exception for traffic on the FTP IP-address and figured that I had to put the FTP repository in passive mode to properly connect.
After setting this up I ran a configuration only backup to test if everything was working properly. The backup was created properly and can be accessed through the FTP as well: success!
My second test was running a full server backup through the manager. The ±40GB file was created properly (I could see my disk usage increase and decrease through new relic monitoring) and supposedly transferred to the FTP repository according to Plesk.
When I look at the FTP or the Plesk Backup Manager both indicate that the full server backup is 0kb in size.
After this issue I figured: I really don't care about a full server backup, I mostly care about a specific set of subscriptions that have new content on a daily basis and need to be backed up properly as well. Those subscriptions are already on a daily or weekly backup scheme that places backups on the local repository.
What I would eventually like to do is create daily or weekly backups on the local repository and create weekly or monthly backups on the FTP repository for those specific subscriptions, but unfortunately you cannot (by default) setup Plesk to automatically backup to local and remote based on different or even the same intervals.
And this is the more important question: How to be able to create/setup a backup automation that keeps local and remote backups for the same or different intervals? Either through the Plesk interface, a plugin or a script?
Running Plesk 12 on CentOS 6.6
Update:
Just tried running the same server wide backup, but this time as a multivolume backup. This resulted in the following error:
