I am trying to install Magento on my apache server. I am running into the dreaded mcrypt issue as Magento needs it to run. I have now been googling for the past few hours and have gotten nowhere.
Here are my details:
Linux Centos 5.5 PHP 5.3.3 x86_64 Plesk 12
I have tried installing all sorts of different repos and it just isn't working.
When I try to install using # yum install php-mcrypt I get the following:
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror Package php-mysql is obsoleted by php-mysqlnd, trying to install php-mysqlnd-5.5.13-3.el5.remi.x86_64 instead --> Processing Dependency: php53-gd for package: psa-php53-configurator --> Processing Dependency: php53-imap for package: psa-php53-configurator
I run a Perl/CGI script from a Web page to download some files located in a Linux server. When I click from a Windows XP on the link of the file to download via this Web page (IE), a dialog box will be displayed to ask me to "Open" or "Save" the file (.txt, .doc, .xls,...) but for some extensions like ".dat" or ".asc", the dialog box ask me to save it only and I have not an "Open" button.
I tried to configure Apache to add these extensions as text/plain by adding these lines in http.conf:
AddType text/plain .asc .txt .dat
How can I add these extensions (.dat, .asc and other extensions) to Apache configuration to be able to open it with Textpad or Notepad?
I hope that the users will be able to open it with Notepad or TextPad without saving it. I know that we can add this type directly in the stations XP but I have a lot of users and I cannot manage that. I hope to perform it from the server. I think something is wrong or missing in my AddType, AddHandler or LoadModule?
I am setting up my work environment on OSX (a new macbook), and my previous setup is a Windows 7 PC. I've found that mod_rewrite is no longer working, and have found some clues why:
Typically, I want to take [URL] ....
which by mod_rewrite will get turned into [URL] ....
so far so good, and this works fine on the Windows PC.
However, I believe Apache on my macbook has something configured differently, as since it knows about the file catalog.php, it appears to update [URL] ....
BEFORE the mod_rewrite happens. Hence the mod_rewrite fails.
I am basing this on having enabled RewriteLog in httpd.conf.
Found the fix. Per stackOverflow - turns out adding the following to the .htaccess file:
Plesk Panel > Updates and Upgrades > Install "Plesk VPN extension" Green Message "All operations with products and components have been successfully completed." Going back from Upgrade window to Plesk Panel Home
[Code] .....
What I already have tried: Shell > apt-get install psa-vpn
Getting error mossage:
Setting up psa-vpn (12.0.18-debian7.0.build1200140606.15) ... ERROR: could not insert 'tun': Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
Shell > modprobe tun ERROR: could not insert 'tun': Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
When I try to install nginx under "Updates and Upgrades" i always get the following error report.
Code: Installation started in background
Getting bootstrapper packages to installation list: Following bootstrapper packages will be installed: (empty) ---------------- Getting packages to installation list: Following packages will be installed: sw-nginx-1.6.0-1.14060313.ubuntu1404.amd64
I was creating an Plesk extension and I need to edit root's crontab for the extension to work properly. While doing some experiment I understand that the Plesk extension works with the permission of psaadm . So I cannot use shell_exec to do this. Is there any api or cli interface where I will be able to do this. Is there any possibility to override the restriction of psaadm user through extension.
I've run into a problem with my Plesk install with Amazon Route 53. I have the latest extension installed (version 1.2 release 2) on Parallels Plesk v12.0.18_build1200140811.16 os_CentOS 7.
The extension has been working perfectly well for me for months. I was adding new domains to Plesk and discovered that as I was making changes to DNS records that a new zone file was created on Route 53 instead of updating the original one.
I did notice that this started happening when I surpassed the 100 domain limit and seems to only happen on domains created at #101 and on. (in other words, I can edit a domain that was created before I got to domain #100 [ie domain #1] and it does not create a duplicate zone file).
I turned on debug mode for plesk and am seeing the json calls with the correct commands coming through.
Redacted sample of an update of Domain #104
[2015-06-10 16:42:43] INFO [panel] The domain alias <b>mydomain.test</b> was created. [2015-06-10 16:42:43] DEBUG [util_exec] [5578bd6355bc3] Starting: dnsmng /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/dnsmng '--update' 'mydomain.test' [2015-06-10 16:42:43] DEBUG [util_exec] [5578bd6355bc3] Finished in 0.06322s, Result: TRUE
[Code] .....
So from what I can see the domain +100 is re-creating the domain whereas domain 1 is not - it's just updating it, even though both json commands show the update statement coming through.
I installed the SiteProBuilder (from the www.site.pro page) in extensions of the Parallels Plesk Panel 11.5.30. I installed from .zip file on administrator account of Plesk Panel. The extension SiteBuilder was shown in all administrated subscriptions. On administrator account the extension works properly but when I log into the Plesk Panel as a client of one subscription then extension doesn't start and message is displayed: "Error: access denied".
"What anti-virus do you use on your postfix email server powered by Plesk?".Is there an anti-virus program that can be installed on Plesk version 12.0.18 as an extension or component? I need it primarily for protection of incoming email from malware.I've seen in Add or Remove Components in the Mail hosting features that I have installed Kaspersky antivirus, but I didn't seen anywhere that it actually can be configured from within Plesk. It also, as far as I can see, doesn't do anything. what is Kaspersky antivirus used for in Plesk and how can I configure it?
According to de Plesk Administrator Guide and according to the kb article: [URL] ...., Plesk Panel is suitable to enable multiple php versions After I performed the steps mentioned in the kb article, all seemed fine until somehow php-cgi and php-fcgi broke down after
Code: # service httpd restart
After this event, all websites hosted on this particular the server only work running php as an apache module.
I am running Pleks Panel 12.0.18 #7 on top of CenOs 6.5 on this particular server, which means php version 5.3.3 is installed by default. PHP 5.3.3 also is was the php version for the "custom: false" php handlers (id's: cgi, fastcgi, module). Somehow all php handlers look like this:
When adding a subscription with a certain plan, I get this error"Error: The plan was not applied: Custom changes in PHP settings" almost instantly after I initiated the creation of the new subscription. Another service plan doesn't have the issue, and though I tried finding the reason why one works while the other doesn't I simply wasn't able to. The service plan in question is used for over 40 others without a problem just when I select it for a new subscription, I get the mentioned error message.I am using Plesk 12 on Linux, all latest updates installed.
i registered some new domains and wanted to add them via Plesk. Before i did that i got the stanard Plesk default page saying that i have to add the domains via plesk as usual.
When i did that the domain switched to a white page and is not able to load .html pages, i can load a phpinfo.php or install wordpress etc. but when i try to load a simple .html file with css or something, i only get a whitepage..
i dont know why this is happening, other domains from december are working fine, new ones wont. the error.logs are empty and even after a whole server restart it wont work.I´m using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Server 64bit + Plesk 12.0.18
I want to add a subdomain foo.bar.com to a master domain bar.com in the subscription bar.com. Normally this works but if I set the hosting type of the master domain to forward, I cannot add subdomains anymore. If I have already added a subdomain, I cannot change the hosting type of the master domain. Also it is not possible to add a second domain to the subscription anymore.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION When I try to add an extra MySQL server, running on a different server, I always get an error that the user has no admin access. But the user I created does have admin access to the database. The remote database is a MySQL 5.5 on a Linux Ubuntu 12.04 LTS server
STEPS TO REPRODUCE Tools & Settings -> Database Servers -> Add Databases server
ACTUAL RESULT Error: Test connection to the database server has failed because the supplied account does not possess administrative privileges: Access denied for user 'admin'@'%' to database 'd536cedf97037e'
EXPECTED RESULT A working database connection.
ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION These queries are logged by MySQL:
If I just ignore this message, go to a subscription and create a database, then the database gets created just fine. It's just Plesk that thinks that something went wrong.
I am looking to add a mysql external source to my plesk. So far no difficulty.
My question is if I remove the mysql server where the currently plesk. I have to say to the panel get the information (psa, roudcube, horde) on the remote mysql to invez mysql local server?
When I set up spamassassin to store spam in the spam folder of my mailbox, it doesn't add any X-Sapm headers nor tags the subject. All I found so far was an old thread where a plesk employee stated that it will be fixed in 'a' future version.
Seems everythings is working normal when ignoring following error message, but everytime I add or change mail settings for a domain, I am getting this error:
Internal error.
