I search VPS with DirectAdmin and Debian Etch 4.0 based on Xen technology.
It's serious xenEurope?
Why use hardware enterprise class for the vps machines?
Where VPS per nodes?
I have realized ping in this web xenEurope, the results:

I have been a customer of xenEurope's for just over 1 month now. xenEurope is a UK based VPS company, who provide VPS's based in the Netherlands.

Initial Impressions I was first drawn to xenEurope after a few reviews I had read in here and some posts made in the offers section. I went to their website and was chatting with Adam on the Live Support right away. The Live Support has always been professional and available, and within 10 minutes we had arranged a very well priced custom package.
Signing Up After having arranged the custom package, I had received my signup link instantly. I signed up, payed the invoiced and had my VPS and root password within no more than 15 minutes. The process of arranging a custom package, signing up, paying the invoice and receiving the VPS details took no more than 30 minutes.
VPS Performance What can I say, except fantastic! In the past, I have had VPS's with a number of other US and UK based VPS providers, and none have been as good as xenEurope with regards to performance. To give you an idea, I had the exact same package with CheapVPS, and the applications I was running were averaging 1-2 server load. I run the exact same applications with xenEurope and rarely exceed 0.5.
Network Performance Even though I am based in the UK, and my VPS is in the Netherlands, I get absolutely blazing speeds, far far better than I have ever gotten with any other VPS provider I have ever used before. I have never noticed any dips in speed either.
Uptime The only thing I have ever noticed was a brief 10 minutes when there was a network problem at the Datacenter, and thats it. The VPS itself didn't require restarting, and was barely noticeable.
Support Its not something that is very commonly heard, but I have never had to submit a single support ticket. Live Support has always been available when I've had a question regarding the VPS, and the Live Support has always been professional, courteous and well mannered and available whenever I've spoke to them.
VPS Control xenEurope provide HyperVM for complete management of your VPS (restarting, reloading etc).
I highly recommend these guys, I have received nothing but a professional service since day 1. If your looking for a custom package, have a word with Adam on Live Support.
Not interested in reseller plans or any of that - strictly as a site for domain purchase and personal site hosting. I have them and am becoming very unsatisfied and looking for alternatives.
Based on my experience with their twin brand, Hostmonster, I would say that they should be just fine for a hobby site/playing around. I don't know about their support, as I didn't use it.
I did a search, and found mostly good things about solarVPS here. I want a little more re-assurance and hope that others that had good or bad experience with them can chip in on their VPS service.
I'm using Awardspace right now, but cannot say that I'm completely happy with them, mostly because of the downtime issues. It is up pretty much 99% of the time as they claim, but there are some issues with mysql database latency which from time to time make my site inaccessible, even thought the server is actually up.
Anybody else using this service ?
I'm talking about Awarspace paid, not free service
I have found Hostnine hosting company! These guys seems to provide the most suitable conditions for my future website, could you please leave your opinions about this company if you have ever had a deal with them!
i would like some advice on getting a domain and a website ..ok now iv done a bit of research and read some articles about keyword and all and i do have a domain name in mind but dont really know if it would be sussesfull so i want ur opinion the name is (URL address blocked: See forum rules) - or it could be .com.au it dosent matter ...both of them are avalible.and the site i would be looking at putting on it would really just be a bit of a personal site ...with forum and chats and a bit of stuff about me and where im from ...so what do u guys think would that be great or not?
Does anyone here use rsync palace? Their prices look good, but there is not a lot of company information, which I may need before recommending this service.
I seen these two mentioned in a thread, but doing a search on either one here brings up nothing. Just thought I would get some opinions if anyone here uses either of these companies.
I'm a non-techie trying to choose a dedicated hoster. From searching through reviews and prices, I've come down to Lunar Pages or Liquid Web. Would you please give me your opinions of these two, and if there are others that you feel strongly about instead, mention those as well? I would really appreciate it -- I'm very anxious about choosing a reliable company with good service, b/c I'll pretty much be at their mercy! (Life is hard for the non-technical
My programmer gave me these requirements: managed hosting, windows server 2003 or 2008, web edition, 2 GB ram, ms sql server 2005 or above, quad core processor from 1.8 - 2.4 ghz, firewall, automatic backup -- 10 GB, remote desktop connection.
new colocation provider, and so I've started a thread for each one that I'm seriously considering. I hope to draw on your collective experience to help me with this decision.
Anyone had any experience with Layer42 colocation in Santa Clara?
Thanks, Matt Olson Ruby Cloud
Some background on my requirements: I'm looking for a single cabinet with 40amps and a pretty small bandwidth commit for now -- probably 1-2Mbps, but increasing to probably 20 early next year. I'd want 24x7 access, and really just need space, power, and network, not any managed services. I'm looking for a reliable provider with full redundancy throughout, good security, and a nice multihomed bandwidth mix on a single 100Mbps drop. I want to work with a stable company with a good reputation for constant uptime and good service.

Anyone had any experience with ethr.net colocation in MPT?

I had the chance to work with the summit24 switches, and I personally liked them. It is straight-forward in my opinion for the Web Interface compared to others I have seen and the pricing seems to be reasonable.
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with any of their switching devices.
What do you think about this cabinet style's ability to cool say 18-20 1U core 2 duo servers? [see attached jpeg.]
its got a fan in the ceiling of it. I have read that ceiling fans don't do much and its the front to back cooling that really makes a difference. Is this true?
If you don't like this type of cab, which type do you like?
