As the title says, 1 of the accounts on my server is getting the following error message - error number 0x800CCC79 server response 451 temporary local problem -
Yet other accounts on the server are sending and recieving fine?
what would cause this error? Its not tempory as its been 48 hours

I am facing a problem with my mails. I have hosted a new domain on my server and that domain is getting a lot of bounce messages with the following error message: Message is waiting at <Mail server name> for delivery to <recipients SMTP>. Message delivery has been delayed to the following recipients: Recipient: [SMTP:<recepients email id>] Reason: Remote SMTP Server Returned: 450 <Senders email id>: Sender address rejected: Domain not found Also when I try to check the DNS settings of that domain from network-tools.com I get the error message as: Retrieving DNS records for <domain name>... I am moving domains from one reseller to another reseller, both with WHM/cPanel so moving domains *should* be relatively easy. First two were. Every one since has been a problem with email (and email only) Once I do the transfer, change the DNS, delete the account from the other WHM, and wait for everything to resolve again, I get a peculiar email error: ERROR: Requested action aborted: error in processing Server replied: 451 Temporary local problem - please try later That is from SquirrelMail, but get a similar error in Horde and still the same error when using POP in Entourage. This only happens when I transfer the account from old server to the new server. I do notice some .lock.xxxxx.server.xxx files in the /mail folder of the domains I am transferring. I do not know if this has anything to do with the issue. Once I noticed this lock file, I deleted it before initiating the cPanel move; that did not fix the situation. If I delete the account and create a new one from scratch on the new WHM the problem goes away. I have ruled out DNS and MX entry errors, as it all works as soon as I create a fresh account.

"Can't Connect To Local MySQL Server" + "IPS Driver Error"
During peak times (especially weekends) many of my site's users have been reporting intermittent 'IPS Driver Errors' in the forums and the following error in the coppermine gallery: Quote: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11) (The forums and the gallery are the main parts of the site). I'm assuming that the site is having problems handling the number of users trying to connect to SQL. I tried increasing the max_connections and max_user_connections settings in my.cnf but it doesn't seem to have made a significant difference. What do I need to do to fix this? Would I need to upgrade my server specs or is it something to do with the server settings? my server specs: AMD Dual/Dual Opteron 270 with 4GB RAM.

unable to get any php5 error logs Here are my settings in the /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini file: display_errors = On display_startup_errors = Off log_errors = On log_errors_max_len = 1024 ignore_repeated_errors = Off ignore_repeated_source = Off report_memleaks = On error_log = /var/log/php5/error.log However unfortunately I never see any error log being generated in the /var/log/php5/error.log file? Also with my shared hosting site one thing which I noticed was, due to some configurations set by them, the error.log used to generate in the folder where the error occured. This is a cool thing which they used to do, but I just dont understand how did they do that.

I installed the MySQL binary packages in /usr/local/mysql/ after removing the MySQL RPM package. MySQL is functioning when I executed /usr/local/mysql/bin/safe_mysqld. SSL Library Error: 218734605 Error
I could not get Apache to restart. It kept failing. Narrowed it down to this error: [Tue Jan 22 16:09:03 2008] [error] SSL Library Error: 218734605 error:0D09A00D:asn1 encoding routines:d2i_PrivateKey:ASN1 lib Removed the SSL portion out of my virtual host file and Apache restarted. But if I put the SSL portion back in, Apache fails. All paths in http.conf and ssl.conf files are correct. And the SSL Cert is valid. This is Centos box with Apache2 with OpenSSL 0.9.7. Any suggestions on why this happened out of the blue and how to fix it?

For one of may domains I'm receiving the following error when someone tries to send mail to it. Also I never receive the mail as it seems to just sit on the server. When the permission were changed on the file, it seemed to have changed back on its on when ever a new address is added. SSL Email And SMTP Error - WHM/cPanel - Retail Host Certificate
We have a few users that use SSL email and we decided to purchase a cheap single-root SSL cert over at namecheap for the host name so that it would end the "self-signed cert" whining. We got the cert installed and it works great for WHM/cPanel and also works for SSL over IMAP and POP3, but the very first email anyone sends (SMTP) per day gives this warning (Outlook Express): The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified. A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider. It seems obvious that the cert used by the SMTP system is not the new one we installed. We used WHM's SSL/TLS -> Change Server Certificates link to install the cert. We then made sure that: /usr/share/ssl/certs/host.domain.com.crt /usr/share/ssl/private/host.domain.com.key /etc/exim.crt /etc/exim.key ...all contained the current cert or key as appropriate. Just for grins, we even made sure: /usr/local/cpanel/etc/cpanel.pem ...had the correct pair. We restarted all the mail services and even restarted the whole server. Email Issue: Local Users Can Not Email Each Other
I am having an email issue and I can not resolve. I am hoping for some assisstance here. One of my local clients are not able to email each other in their office. (About 10 employess I believe) They are using Outlook mail client, and using ISP's SMTP server. They are able to send/recieve email to other users externally, but not intenally. Using webmail works perfectly fine. I spoke with my host and the said everything is working fine. I checked with the ISP to see if they are blocking the IP address on the SMTP server. They said they were not. I have a personal account on the same server and tried to send email to another local email account, and it did not work either. Tried to send email to my clients email and they did not recieve anything. I am on the same ISP as my client, so Im still not sure if its the ISP or not.

Hosting Without Number Of Email Restriction
I have a custom made server side bulk email application. My current hosting service does allow unlimited emails (most restrict to around 3-500 per hour) but im having other problems with them. As such I need a new host for this tool. I send around 45,000 emails as newsletters to my site members about 10 times a year. I know that a dedicated server is a obvious solution but I dont want the management headaches and higher costs that go with it. Has anyone got a shared hosting solution that doesn't restrict email numbers or atleast has much higher limits?

Email Bounce With "full" Error
I have a user that has most of the emails sent to him bouncing back. The bounced email error is that his inbox is full. I know it is not full, I looked at it myself, and his quota is set to unlimited. Any idea what could be the cause? Where should I start to figure this one out?

Emails In Response To Autoresponders Going To Two Email Address's
Anyone here got any experience with autoresponders? An autoresponder is setup, so that anyone emailing to admin@example.com, gets an autoresponder from enquiries@example.com asking for a couple of details, the person then replies to the autoresponder with the details, they then receive another autoresponder from enquiries@example.com confirming receipt of their last email. That's what should happen, but instead, the person keeps getting an autoresponder from enquiries@example.com asking for more details, even after they've already emailed the details? If it's any help, when I've been testing this, when replying to the first autoresponder, I notice in the 'to' line it mentions both email address's, in the following format: Enquiries@example.com <admin@example.com>

500 Internal Server Error
I run a proxy. First, I was on shared hosting. Worked for 2 months. then, bam! 500 internal server error. I moved to a smaller VPS with 128 MB RAM. Worked for 30 min, then 500 internal server error again... So now I moved to a larger VPS with 512 MB RAM, 1 GB burstable. Worked for 2 days, and now the 500's is back... Rebooting the VPS usually fixes it, but I can not be sure I can continue rebooting it, as I expect it getting worse later. It usually starts with lighttpd goes insane. One minute it's using 30 mb RAM, ok that's good. Then suddenly it uses 300 mb. then 500 mb. Then the 500 internal server error occur. So any ideas of how I should configure this so it would work in a better way? Error Connecting To Cpanel Server
I seem to be having problems every 20 accounts i create through clientexec work fine than i whole bunch dont i seem to be able to fix it by using a new hash key. However it happened again at 44 accounts i dot have any idea what to do! i get a error log saying this. If it helps all the signups are over 2 days. Sorry, we could not create the account. I installed new apache (2.2.6) and mod_security 2. I wish to block some file globally by: SecRule REQUEST_URI ".*(some_file).php?.*" but how to NOT BLOCL for some folder / account? DNS Error [Name Server Setup]
I've problem setting up name servers. I'd tried to setup up name servers but they're not working. Details are, Code: Domain Name: wordrumble.com Main IP (shared IP) also IP for this domain: 209.40.198.70 NameServer1: dns1.wordrumble.com IP: 209.40.192.236 NameServer2: dns2.wordrumble.com IP: 209.40.197.69 I've added name servers in my domain CP, I've also redirected domain to IP 209.40.198.70 but nothing seems to work.
