Cant Login On FTP Client
Dec 7, 2007All of sudden my ftp client cant connect to my servers at all. It just says server connection closed.
And i try to reconnect, same thing.
Whys it doing this? It hasnt before.

Client Area Login Script
Aug 5, 2009I want to create a "Client" only area that a user will have to supply a User-id and Password to gain access to and to ALL of the web pages within it. If a user does not have a User-id and Password, I want them to be able to Register for one, and if they are a "Client", then I will Activate their access.
My question is: Can someone recommend either a Free or low cost script that will allow me to do this. I would want the script to have an "Admin" function to Activate a user request, Cancel a Users access. I would also want a "User" function that would allow the user to change some of the registration data (Password, Email). I would prefer that the script is PHP.
Can't Login In Client Mailbox Account
Sep 4, 2007I have installed Squirrelmail and configure IMAP, Now when I create new mail domain then I can successfuly login in it. But when I create user level mailboxes then I can't login. Can anyone know the reason behind it?

Jul 24, 2014I have a problem with one of my Plesk Panels for windows (v. 11.5.30 Update #47). One of the clients is getting "Redirect loop" error when tries to login to his panel. The funny thing is that this is only happening to one account. I've tried to change subsriber for his subscription, but there was no result, since the same thing happend when I tried to login with the new subscriber's login.

Sep 10, 2014I installed the SiteProBuilder (from the www.site.pro page) in extensions of the Parallels Plesk Panel 11.5.30. I installed from .zip file on administrator account of Plesk Panel. The extension SiteBuilder was shown in all administrated subscriptions. On administrator account the extension works properly but when I log into the Plesk Panel as a client of one subscription then extension doesn't start and message is displayed: "Error: access denied".

Browse to www.mydomain.com/webmail and get login box > login accepted and taken to Horde/Squirrelmail choice screen > choose Squirrelmail and get login box ... login not accepted! > Retry and choose Horde ... login not accepted!
The login is correct and the results are the same when logging in as root, or through /cPanel or /Webmail.

I know that there is the motd file in /etc that i can put a message but i see it when i full be recognized by the server.. (after putting the password).. How can i put the other 2 messages?
Plesk Automation :: Login As User From Admin / Actual Login As User Are Different
Jan 3, 2014when I find the subscription from the admin side of PPA, if I select "Login as user" I've noticed that it is different from actually logging in as the user - for example - "add domain alias" is missing when I login as a customer - but not as an admin... I need my customers to add their own aliases and manage them - how do I add that feature to the client login side?

Client Can't Log In To Cpanel
Jul 16, 2009I've got cPanel 11.24.5-R37127 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9
CENTOS 4.7 i686 standard on server
A hosted client suddenly can't log in to her cpanel. I can login just fine with her user/pass and another gal can too. But she can't. She says it just keeps asking for the password over and over.
I had her clear her cache and cookies, and reboot her pc, but that did no good at all.
Might this be a server issue or a browser issue?

Nov 28, 2008I got a problem where mine is stuck acquiring an IP. I have a 64bit OS so I have to use Vmware 32bit os to use the program and my firewall is setup to be open for that particular VM but still it cant grab an IP. Ive left it enabled for around 30 mins it doesn't time out or stop or error. Someone else uses it who is in another location and was in the system yesterday so I'm not sure if she had any issues but said she had no problem getting in so it must be my setup.

Dec 23, 2007My company runs an extremely successful ecommerce website but we are currently unhappy with our current provider for reasons I will not list here. We are looking to move to a carrier neutral location (possible switch and data because it is in the same building) or other options are Equinix and?.
The problem is going from one provider and a /29 to trying to balance two or three providers. No one is going to do bgp with someone only using three ips. We have 2 cabinets with 40 servers (60u total) but most everything is nat'd.
What options are available? Management wants 99.999% uptime (yes i know unrealistic) but downtime is lost $$$ when 100% of sales come from the web. They are willing to pay to keep downtime at a minimum. Multiple data centers around the country is planned for later in 2008 or early 2009. Server cost is not the problem but making the website and back end databases work in a multiple data center environment is the problem.
Any suggestions? Is Internap a possibility? During my searches here at WHT, I seem to see either Equinix, Server Central, or SteadFast mentioned as the favorites. Pricing looks fine at Server Central and it looks like they may have their own network. Steadfast pricing is cheaper but the amount of outages in the outage forum scares me.

How To Capture Client Ip Address
Dec 28, 2005i am using tomcat server and am running a web application. I am trying to capture the clients ipaddress who ever are accessing my server. i used the method request.getRemoteAddr() .but i see always 127.0.0.1 instead of the clients ip address.i tried accessing my server from different machines having different ip address but my logs show me 127.0.0.1.
i guess something is wrong with my tomcat configuration.
Client Threatning To Hack
Apr 9, 2009I just had a client whose hosting account was automatically suspended due to him not paying the hosting bill. He opened up a ticket and asked why his site is suspended. I informed him that he didn't pay the bill and the system suspended it automatically. I told him that the system generated e-mails as well and he said he didn't get them while I looked in WHCMS, it said it DID get sent to him. Client said his website was DDOS'd because it used 3 GB of BW in one month and i told him there was no DDOS attack. The kind of site he had (100+ users online at one time, vBulletin forum), it was common to use that much.
The client is now saying that he is going to hack attempt the servers to see if they are DDOS Protected or not. Of Course, my servers are protected (WiredTree), so should I be worried?

Feb 10, 2009I have SSL enabled site on IIS.I want to access it from my PocketPC(Win mobile).But when I try access it, I have been prompted to install a certificate.
Unlike when I try to any HTTPS site (Banking sites) I have never been prompted to install any certificate.
Why am I being prompted with security message with "Yes,No,View certificate" options on it every time I try to access my own server(desktop) via my WIN mobile using active sync.
Unlike When I try to access banking site(https) I was never ever prompted a mesage like above.
How to have same functionality for my application also?
FTP + File Permissions For Client
May 24, 2009I have set up a ftp server for my clients to upload files.
I have setup 2 users, client and administrator.
When a client logs he uploads his files to a folder called upload_files.
But he cannot view files in that folder.
If I log in as administrator I can see all the files and folders.
But I can only delete files uploaded to the upload_files folder.
If the client uploads a folder with files into it, then I cannot delete it since the folder owner is client.
Ex:
/upload_files/image.jpg Can Delete
/upload_files/new_folder/image.jpg Can't Delete
