I got this Problem after install a New Plesk Server.
Current: CentOS 6.5, Plesk 11.5.30, PHP 5.3.3 (Default install), PHP as FastCGI (I Tried also with Plesk 12.x).
What I did: in IP Tables i set al Ports for Plesk; I set in /etc/proftpd.conf the Ports "PassivePorts 65000 65200"
Problem: Each file ore folder created by an php Application i cant see ore override by ftp.
Example: I Upload a new installation of Joomla 2.5 (CMS) by ftp with a User created by plesk. Then I start the Installation by using the Webbrowser. In this process Joomla change some files and create also an configuration.php. All done by php Scripts. Now I check the configuration.php on the FTP -> Cant see it. -> I check by SSH and the file exists. If I Check the Permissions it seams, that all file have same permissions, owner and group.
-> Configuration.php can not see by ftp ore be overwritten -> htaccess.txt I see by ftp and i can manage ->> Permissions seams to be the same "?"!"

I see in the plesk documentation that the screen to enable SPAM filtering for an individual there is an option to "Move spam to the Spam folder". I don't see that option so I am wondering if it is only available on some versions of Plesk, or in combination with certain mail servers. How to make that option available?
All the mail sent from your server is going into the JUNK folder of other servers, such as Hotmail, GMail, Yahoo, etc, not reaching the inbox What are the steps needs to be taken to prevent mails going JUNK folder
I have enabled domainkeys in the mail server and all the emails going out of the server are signed by domainkeys. Yahoo confirms the domainkeys as verified for each message sent to their servers. However, Yahoo still delivers the emails to the spam folder instead of the inbox. I have done the domainkeys setup only an hour ago. Does Yahoo take time to recognize the sender server as genuine and deliver all the emails to the inbox or is there some other reason for the emails going to the spam folder? One thing is sure, Yahoo sucks and it sucks big time.
Emails generated by my site scripts go to the junk/spam folder of gmail/yahoo etc
I am using the Google Apps for email of my domain (means that I have pointed the MX records of my domain to Google) but the emails which are being generated from my site just use the server capabilities to generate the emails (means that the emails generated by script don't pass through Google email servers)
I suspect that this might be causing problems with spam tagging ? and what can I do to get around this
I am having trouble with all mail from my web server being delivered to the Yahoo! spam folder. After doing some reading, I have set up an SPF record and domain keys on the server, but the messages are still being sent to spam.
Here are the headers from an e-mail I sent to Yahoo! that was marked as spam:
(Note: I've made a few replacements so that my server's identity and my identity are not obvious.) ...
I have a problem with my server. If you send any message to any gmail account, that message will only arrive in spam/bulk folder. I tried changing subjects, and no use any message that you send only goes to the bulk folder. Ip of the server is not blocked in any know database, I checked.
The Plesk panel indicates that the Spam folder can be retrieved using an email client. We are using Outlook 2013 and can not figure out a way to make this happen. We can see the Spam folder using Webmail, but the contents never shows up in Outlook...
After some yum updates last night one user and group called xfs were created on my dedicated server. Does anyone know what this group/user is used for?
I'm in the process of configuring my company's new server and I've hit a slight stumbling block. What's happening is that PHP is creating its sessions like normal with the exception of no permissions being set for them. This then means that errors are thrown up when PHP attempts to open the session files. Can anybody tell me why this is happening? I have set the sessions directory to octal 0777 for the time being.
I am designing a site for a client and in all the years I've done design etc, I've come up against a phenomenon with their VPS server they have. It's linux and uploading files I am using WS_FTP Home.
I am uploading files and folders to their public_html/domain.com/ (*I use domain here for their privacy) and in some folders (directories) after doing so, a mystery folder suddenly appears that is named 5" and as you enter that folder, you see the path directory show up "public_html" and if you go into that one, you come up to the domain.com folder again, and if you deeper into that one you start to see this phenomenon of mirroring folders of the one you go into. Example:
public_html/domain.com/images/5"/public_html/domain.com/images/file ***the file whether it's an image jpg, png, etc is created as the last directory as a folder, not a file. I should also mention that as you go deeper in the 5" mystery directory folder, you no longer see the path in the FTP anything past the 5" one even as you go further in.
Oh, and it doesn't allow you to delete these 5" folders regardless of what permissions. And this folder seems to show up in many areas of this website's directory structure...mostly where images are (don't know if that is just a coincidence).
So hope all this makes sense....anyone seen this before and what the cause could be? Their host doesn't seem to know the reason and says they cannot see it even though others can. They said it's the FTP program as the cause and not their server.
My comeback to that is that I've used this FTP for years and never before seen this happen. It's only with this one client's server.
