I uninstall webmail horde and fail2bn.. When I tried to reinstall have this error:
The Yum utility failed to install the required packages.
I am trying to upgrade my Plesk 11.5.30 install to 12.x but I keep getting an error:
Exception: Failed to solve dependencies:

Error: The Yum utility failed to install the required packages.
Attention! Your software might be inoperable.
Please, contact product technical support.
I have run the boostrapper repair but the error remains.
I installed fail2ban via the autoinstaller today. I got a failed install. There is no /etc/init.d/fail2ban file, and no /usr/bin/fail2ban-server.
On the other hand yum-search tells me it's installed:
plesk-fail2ban-configurator.noarch : plesk-specific jails and filters for fail2ban
fail2ban.noarch : Scan logfiles and ban ip addresses with too many password failures
I tried to remove it in autoinstaller:

We have a Windows server that we are deploying the PHP package onto. In the Packages Repository, there are two PHP packages (5.3.10.4 and 5.2.17.0-1). When I deploy a package to the new Hardware Node, it only shows me the latest version of the PHP package (5.3.10.4). Is there a way to select the older version of the PHP package that is in the repository (5.2.17.0-1)?

I'm trying to make use of the multiple PHP versions in Plesk 12, however the newer versions are missing some packages my websites require.
When yum installing them it just tries to install to the default PHP5.3 version so says it is already installed.
As I didn't compile these php versions how can I install additional PHP packages to the supplied additional versions in Plesk?
My Centos server running Plesk12 is running scheduled backups every sunday 3AM.
The backup is configured so that it's created as a multivolume backup with a volume size of 2047MB.
The backup is placed on my Personal FTP repo (another plesk12 server mounted with big storage).
The backup content is configured to backup server config and content (all).
The problem I have is when the backup is running I can see that it creates the volumes and stores it locally. After it send all the volumes the the external FTP repo it will delete the local (tmp) data. See my attached screenshot for storage health during backup.
Is this behaviour normal? This way we can never run a backup to an external FTP repo when our server passed 50% storage. Is it not normal to:
- Create a volume
- Send it to FTP repo
- Delete volume locally
- Repeat until done

I don't know the exact meaning of the displayed result , does it mean bad sectors? How much the e2fsck is reliable? Is there any better Linux utility to check bad sectors on Western Digital HDD?
Wondering if anyone know how to install all the packages for the @Base category in the CentOS 5 install from yum. I did not check this during install and can't figure out an easy way to see and install all the packages in the @Base category.
Also tried some searching and can't seem to find a way to install package groups from yum.

I'm trying to recover a 8 Gb backup via Ftp as you can see in the attach 2.png.
Ftp begins recovering correctly and after 1,5 or 2 Gb aprox, PLEX shows a message like attach 1.png.
I translate the message: "Operation is taking too long..."
After error message, we can see Ftp working till the end but after that there is nothing restored.

About my system:
os: debian 7.8 64bit
plesk: 12.0.18 Update #47
We have a problem with our plesk servers. I executed "/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all" and now the plesk interface shows an error message:
Template processing failed: file = /opt/psa/admin/conf/templates/custom/server.php,

I found out that all domain configs were generated correctly, but the psa database shows an error (select * from Configurations where status = 'error'; ) for file /etc/apache2/plesk.conf.d/server.conf.
Lately I've been spending a lot of time grok'ing the Postfix logfile (i.e., /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog) and I've been noticing a lot of authentication failures (and even one successful break-in).
Most entries are just a simple pair of log entries that includes the source IP address and then the details of the mailbox name, like this one:
Code:
Aug 12 08:08:18 www postfix/smtpd[4805]: warning: unknown[162.255.86.250]: SASL LOGIN authentication failed: authentication failure
Aug 12 08:08:20 www plesk_saslauthd[4434]: failed mail authenticatication attempt for user 'media@example.com' (password len=6)
[Code]....
How are these entries generated? i.e., Why mailbox name given right away some times (like the first example) while - other times - the account name isn't displayed for several seconds - almost ninety seconds in the second example?
I dont know where is the problem.

Initially I was able to connect via FTP. Then all of a sudden I started getting 550 SSL/TLS required on the control channel. Why did it suddenly required SSL/TLS when I did not do anything extra?
Now when I'm trying to connect via FTPES using FileZilla (tried both active and passive) on Linux Mint Debian, I'm getting the error below. I'm really stumped. I have tried to Allow incoming from all on port 49152-65534/tcp via Plesk firewall, but still no go.
The worst thing now is, I can't even get FTP to work anymore. Of course I would prefer to have TLS working.
