May 3, 2009I had a thread about this several years ago here but it petered out without a satisfactory resolution and when I tried to restart it the Sitepoint bot suggested I start a new thread . . .
Briefly, I'm into lots of stuff - software, art, poetry, business, etc, so I want to have different email addresses for each activity but I want them all to go to the same inbox so I don't have to log into n different accounts to check my email.
My website is hosted by HostMySite but their webmail offering ("Smartermail") is lame. I don't have the option of installing a different email client (at least not for what I'm paying) but I DO have the option of routing my email to a different provider while retaining my @pnArt.com email address.
Aliases don't solve this because if someone sends email to an alias, e.g., myalias@pnart.com it goes to my root account inbox, say, myroot@pnart.com so when I hit "reply" the recipient sees the mail coming from myroot@pnart.com, not myalias@pnart.com. Furthermore, if HE replies it goes to the global "reply-to" address which is a THIRD address because I don't want the root address in general circulation, to minimize spam to my root email.
I'm getting complaints from clients and customers about this because they're not sure which email address they're expected to use.. Is there any third-party email provider that lets me have multiple aliases or identities that I can process from ONE inbox, but where the alias or identity is applied in a consistent way so my clients see just ONE email address from me?

Now I want manage all server with single nameserver example all server working with ns1.newnameserver.com and ns2.newnameserver.com ....
I have licenses for my server of Plesk no limits...how check if PPA is installed in my server ? Otherwise how to install PPA or other software for DNS Manager?
Managing Multiple Providers On A Small Scale
Mar 20, 2007We are consolidating several of our servers (6-8) into one location. Collectively, they'll probably use about 15-20 Mbps. We'd like to keep all of our VoIP traffic on premium bandwidth, but the rest of the servers (web, mail, etc) on something like Cogent.
My question is this: Is there anyway to keep it all on one switch/router but be able to specify certain IPs or MAC addresses to use a specific provider? Is BGP the only option? It would be nice to be able to have that level of control. If BGP is the only way, it doesn't yet seem realistic on this scale.
I'm proably being completely overzealous, and should just stick with two Layer 2 switches (one for each provider) and put each machine on one or the other, then setup a seperate VLAN for them to talk to each other. However, we'll probably be hosting servers for customers in the near future so having a router wouldn't hurt, we could use the traffic shaping, QoS, etc. in the long run.
Plesk 11.x / Linux :: Can't Sync Subscription With Command Line Interface
Dec 9, 2014I have a subscription and I'm able to switch the subscription to a given service-plan, but I'm unable to sync the subscription with the plan, using the CLI. These are my commands:
/usr/local/psa/bin/subscription --switch-subscription <domain.com> -service-plan Hosting
result => The subscription <domain.com> is now associated with the service plan Hosting..When watching the webinterface in Plesk, I see the domain is "connected" to the service plan, so far so good. However, I notice that the subscription is not synced.
Back to the CLI, I've tried some combinations, but I can't get the subscription synced. The webbased interface keeps telling me that the subscription is unsynced. Here is what I've tried:
/usr/local/psa/bin/subscription --sync-subscription <domain.com>
And I also unlocked it (just in case it was locked) like so: /usr/local/psa/bin/subscription --unlock-subscription <domain.com>
The funny part is that the CLI tells me: "Subscription <domain.com> was synchronized with the associated service plans." but unfortenately it's not if I look through the GUI. Only if I click the sync-option webbased the subscription get synced. we have to transfer over 1000 domains and need to sync these domains with a given service-plan.
Plesk 12.x / Linux :: Upgrade From 11.5 To 12.0.18 Completed OK But No Interface Page - File Not Found
Jul 11, 2014Upgrade from 11.5 reported it had completed but when I log in, I get the grey bar on the left with various options - Hosting Services, Tools & Settings etc. (only Profile & Preferences works) and a main white screen with the words 'File Not Found' in large font black lettering.

Sep 11, 2014I just installed Plesk 12 Web Admin Edition, installed and activated all licence keys and everything works fine.The only thing, I can't find the "Service Provider View" in the Interface Settings, there is only a "Power-User" view provided, even I've selected the Service Provider View during Plesk Setup, I was moved to the Power User view and now I can't switch the interface.I am really missing the server health monitoring from this Service Provider View like got it on all other servers I have.

I am getting certificate error for the second domain when I try to check email (using MS Outlook). I can't permanently "accept" certificate, it complains again and again. Certuficate I created and self signed for imap.domain1.com, but the second email server is imap.domain2.com, so it complains.
How do I set separate email certificates for two domains? Is it possible at all?
Managing Two Servers In One Domain
May 28, 2009I'm trying to set up a new site on a new server, primarily informational, while maintaining the old order-taking and database functionality of the existing one. This new one is an Ubuntu vm with samba and apache all set, but the old one is running Tomcat and basically takes java programming to update. How can I properly route incoming requests to the proper server, pass back and forth login information (which resides on the old server), etc? I'm a relative newbie to all this, so the solution might be blindingly obvious, but it's a bit daunting to get them working in tandem.

I have noticed that the CPU on my VPS maxes out. This occurs when there are many concurrent visitors to any of the 7 domains. 6 of the domains run Wordpress and 1 runs php-bb forum. When I run top during high cpu I see multiple "php-cgi":

Oct 26, 2014On a plesk11 server (migrated from plesk9) I see multiple locations for the logfiles:
/var/www/vhosts/<DOMAIN>/logs
/var/www/vhosts/system/<DOMAIN>/logs
They don't seem to be (hard)linked. Why store logfiles on 2 different locations? Is there a way to make this more efficient?

Dec 17, 2014I installed Nginx and PHP-FPM through the Plesk Autoinstaller.It works well with the default PHP version installed originally with the CentOS 6 system (5.3.3). I also installed manually following your KB [URL] .... additional versions of PHP. It works well, and I can use those additional versions through the Plesk UI.
Therefore, I was wondering how to use them with PHP-FPM? As when I activate a domain for Nginx with PHP process (PHP-FPM), it switches the PHP version to 5.3.3 and I can't change this parameter.

Dec 28, 2014I am looking for a replacement to my existing ISPConfig 3.x installation and have heard a lot of good things about Plesk, so I decided to put up a test server with a trial version of Plesk 12.The server is running Centos 6.5 64-bit minimal install with all system updates applied before installing Plesk. After installing Plesk I used the commands from the attached text-file.After compiling PHP 5.5.20 with no errors displayed on screen I created a new subscription plan as a copy of the #default domain" plan and changed the name to "PHP 5.5 website" and in the Hosting Parameters I changed PHP to run still run as a FastCGI application but use my compiled PHP 5.5.20 instead of the OS vendors PHP 5.3.3.The configure options used are the same as I did use for my ISPConfig 3.x servers.I also tried the configure options shown here: [URL]... But the command ends with a "configure: WARNING: unrecopgnized options: --enable-fastcgi"
If I compile with the attached script I get a HTTP 500 error when visiting the selected website (which is a clean installation of Drupal 7.34) and in the error_log for my test site I get this:

Jun 16, 2014I am running a VPS through 123-REG, Plesk version 11.0.9 with CentOS 6.4
I host 3 websites of my own (with 14 mail accounts)
4 websites for clients (with 10 mail accounts)
7 websites for clients (with 0 mail accounts)
The problem I have had in the last 2 weeks is that the server has been compromised once again by spammers.
2 weeks ago we had another instance and the support was even worse than before, I decided that the best way forward after irradicating the problem and correcting the source, and in the interest of each of my clients I decided to asign each client with their own IP address in the vain hope that if one client account is compromised the others will not be affected, 123-REG agreed that this is a solid solution so I purchased 5 additional IP addresses for the clients I host mail accounts for, (all of the said addresses were blacklisted when I was given them!!!) the reverse DNS was not set up correctly, and couldn't be through their control panel and some didn't match the SMTP banners, then I found out through them that the mail was still sent out through the Primary IP address anyway so if one client gets blacklisted they all still do.
Now they tell me that I can in fact configure Plesk to use each IP address for each client exclusively and they sent me a link to a support article that doesn't actually tell me how to do it.
I can do the following so far:
Log into puTTY and use the command: nano /etc/postfix/master.cf
Find the "smtp" record referenced in the article [URL]
1.1.1.1- unix - n n - - smtp -o smtp_bind_address=1.1.1.1 -o smtp_bind_address6= -o smtp_address_preference=ipv4
2.2.2.2- unix - n n - - smtp -o smtp_bind_address=2.2.2.2 -o smtp_bind_address6= -o smtp_address_preference=ipv4
although mine looks like the one below:
1.1.1.1- unix - n n - - smtp -o smtp_bind_address=1.1.1.1 -o smtp_b$
Is there something missing from the entry I have?
Assuming that 1.1.1.1 = the relevant IP Address for the client do I need to create an entry for each of my IP addresses?
Do I need to do anything with SMTP banners? If so how do I do it, and what do I need to do?
The article also mentions the default settings being restored each time you reconfigure mail settings and to consider a scheduled task, does that mean each time I set up a new mail account or a new client as I assume that I will need to repeat these steps in that case anyway, mainly because they will have a unique IP address that needs to be set up.
