OSMicrosoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 Panel version11.5.30 Update #47
We have a few hosting plans setup with different "allowances" for each. The website permissions allow basic html and PHP.In Windows Advanced: The website settings allow for html, php, asp and asp.net
When we change a Basic Hosting plan to Windows Advanced using "Change Plan", it will reassign the subscription/domain to use the new plan, but it will not add-on the extra features in Hosting Settings.
I have a Plesk 12 server running that works great. But the problem is that whenever one of my shared hosting customers changes something out a domain or subdomain, all the other sites on the server give a 502 error.
The reason why is clear to me: apache is reloading its config while nginx is still active, but sees apache as being down and therefor throws a 502 error.
Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Because it's happening a lot and people are sending in 'site down' reports while there's actually nothing wrong with the server or their site.
When I change an email address on a user's account I get this error?
Internal error: mailmng-mailname failed: Unable to open dir /var/qmail/mailnames/mydomain.com/stevebrown/@attachments: No such file or directory System error 2: No such file or directory
Message mailmng-mailname failed: Unable to open dir /var/qmail/mailnames/bullochrec.com/stevebrown/@attachments: No such file or directory System error 2: No such file or directory File Agent.php Line 243 Type PleskUtilException
When I try to set a domain's hosting type from "Forwarding" to "Website hosting" I get the following error:
Error: Unable to start (/c ""C:Program Files (x86)ParallelsPleskadminbinusermng.exe" exist [username]") at Plesk impersonation(PipeServer::ServerThread::runAs line 886) at Unable to execute applicationzif_plesk_proc_open line 1274)
What I tried: - Using different usernames; - Checked plesksrv.exe permissions [URL] ;
And right now I'm running the PP Reconfigurator tool, option Plesk File Security, cause I think this issue is related with permissions.
My System: Ubuntu 12.04 Plesk 12.0.18 Update #18 Only Webserver no mail
What I want: I have an old sha1 certificate and I would change this for the whole server.
What I have done so far: I have already uploaded the new sha256 certificate with a new private key to plesk (I can not simply replace the old one, plesk does not allow me to upload a new private key).
Then I set the new certificate as standard certificate and pressed the "secure pannel" button.
After that the panel uses the new certificate.
Then I set in "Tools & Settings -> IP Addresses" on both IP addresses the new certificate.
But now the "Tools & Settings -> SSL Certificates" shows me that the old certificate is still used 2 times somewhere. But the Interface does not show where it is used. How can I find out where this certificate is used? I want to remove the old certificate from the server.
I am Using Plesk 12 and Centos ... I have moved my name server to my domain registrar and also moved my email.
I removed the webmail and the mail hosting and named and the result would be the Plesk Panel would also get removed automatically.
I restored the recent snapshot and I would like to disable the following services permanently or remove webmail, named and mail hosting service without affecting plesk panel.
SMTP Server (Postfix) Courier POP3 server Courier POP3 server with SSL/TLS support Courier IMAP server Courier IMAP server with SSL/TLS support Courier IMAP authentication daemon DNS Server (BIND) SpamAssassin Plesk milter (Postfix)
I did chkconfig servicename off but it doesn't work.
I`ve got a problem with plesk when hosting Wordpress, when using Wordpress navigating between the pages (front-end and back-end) server time seems to be 15 sec.I`ve checked CPU usage and that stays under 5%.
When I install Drupal or Concrete5 or any other application that uses PHP with MYSQL it runs very fast.I`ve already fine-tuned PHP / Apache2 / Nginx & Mysql to get the max possible performance out of it.
What i`m using for hardware: i7 920 2.6Ghz 24GB Ram LSI Raid controller 9260-8i RAID 10, 6 WD Black disks (internal speed goes about 450mb/sec) RAID 1, 2 x Samsung SSD Evo 840
Software: ESXI 5.5, optimised for maximum performance. (no standard config) PLESK VM has 8 cores, 16GB Ram and I/O access priority set to max.
If I move the PLESK VM to the SSD datastore it makes no difference.Again, the problem only happens when i`m installing Wordpress..I Also did a manual install of Wordpress, same issue..I`m going to try the older version of Wordpress (3.9) so see i`m having the same problems..Using the latest plesk 12 on Ubuntu 14 with trail license at the moment.
I have been a solid cPanel / WHM user for the past 2 years, we have now since downsized our hosting requirements and also wanted to cut our panel costs and so we moved to PLESK 12 Web Edition. The server is on a trial license and has been working fine with no problems for the past 2 weeks. Today all of a sudden none of the websites are accessible, although I can ping all IP's on server and login via SSH.I cannot access any websites or hosting control panel, I have disabled IP tables as this was the cause of a problem last time.
Why this happened was there an update at around 5AM this morning which could have caused this?I have restarted the server, I can successfully ping / resolve address from SSH.
Is it possible to buy a dedicated server off eg Dell and host your own website on it from home ie with a www prefix to the url- Do ye know any good tutorial on it. Would 20Mbit bandwidth be enough bandwidth for a fairly busy php ,mysql site? Completely new to this.
