I'am partner with cloudflare I have the follow question:
As my subject says how can I install cloudflare for PA? (I already install the addon extension ServerShield Plus by CloudFlare) but pretend install CloudFlare for PA [URL] ....
Where I can get:

POA IP, POA API, etc?
I deleted the Domain from Cloudflare but did not deactivate it before from Plesk. I add again the Domain and try to deactivate it but you can deactivate it.
(Error) CloudFlare can not delete domain.tld from this interface. your Plesk server is not the authoritative partner with CloudFlare for your domain.
What is the way to deactivate and uninstall Cloudflare?
I have a client on a dedicated IP, today we needed to downgrade the web hosting plan. As the web hosting plan puts users on a default shared IP, this plan change also changed the dedicated IP to the shared one causing some propagation issues for a small period of time.
I have contacted WHMCS about this asking if they had a way of changing the clients plan but keeping the IP address intact as this could lead to some very undesirable outcomes. They explained that it is not their fault and to contact Parallels.
I know I can change the plan directly in Plesk however by initiating the plan change via WHMCS, everything is automated.
I wonder if there is any chance to change the domain that is being shown as the incoming/outgoing mail server to users of the Plesk Panel, when clicking on the "Info"-Icon near an e-mail-account in the mail list (see screenshot).
We only have a SSL certificate for one domain and want our customers to use this domain in their mail client settings, so that the client trusts the domain.
So, the thing is that I have Parallels Plesk 12 installed on my server running on Ubuntu 14.04. The webmail we are using is roundcube and it has a plugin that allows users to change their passwords. Theoretically the plugin connects to psa database using poppassd. Aaand it almost works, because when you try to change the password and you enter the current password it detects it as good, but it tries to apply the new password it fails.I found this info but it didn't worked for me: URL....
On the other hand, when I open the "Filters" tab i get an "Unable to connect to sieve server".
I want to transfer an account from a windows server to my linux server.

I just got a vps server with plesk 12 on it. I've added domains and so far so good. But I can't figure out how to install the email accounts.
I've made de email accounts and when adding these accounts to my mail program I wanted to use mail.domain.com or imap.domain.com But it doesn't work? And I need to use the smtp host of the internetprovider?
How can I use imap.domain.com and smtp.domain.com to get and send my emails?
Also Is there any way how to check if my server is installed ok and there are no security issues? Because I'm a noob I don't know what the best settings are?
I configured Cloudflare in admin panel, I then logged in using my test customer account, I tried to install CloudFlare application (without license key for free mode) . I got the following error:

I am having issues setting up CloudFlare on out PPA system. I have is setup under Hosted Applications. I have setup a Resource for CloudClare and added it to the service templates. When i go into a clients Control Panel to install the app, I get a couple different errors. When i try to use a previously setup administrator for the subscription, which is listed under "Grant administrative access to existing user," I get the following error:
"Error: Installation of CloudFlare For PA failed. invalid values passed for settings of application resource; details for setting with id 'admin_username': The "CloudFlare username" setting value 'xxxxx' is already in use. Please provide unique value." Is this because I am logged in as the user?
When I create a login under "Use administrative credentials not connected to any particular user," I get the following error: "Error: Installation of CloudFlare For PA failed. Invalid structured output returned by script: Failed to parse structured output. Structured output: '<output xmlns= URL.... WARNING: A connectivity error occurred while contacting the service. I do get an email from CoudFlare with the setup instructions for the new account.Under the PPA control panel, I am using the IP address for the Management Node in the "POA API IP" field. Is this correct, or should I have entered localhost?I am running 11.5 Update 8, and CloudFlare For PA (3.0.2-18).Setup instructions for Plesk or POA does not quite cover everything for a PPA installation.
Not sure if I labeled that correctly, but I am looking to setup a multi-server where I offer a cloud ssd hosting plan, and sata hosting plan. The current setup has ssd hosting, but id like to add another ip address, as well as its hard drive to host other websites on that specific server, which is sata based.
For example, I add a domain to my plesk 12 admin account and choose the added Ip address (the sata based one), where it points to that server to access the files for that specific website.
At the moment, cloudflare handles all of my dns settings.. but I am totally lost on how this needs to be setup and if I am required to purchase another plesk license. I am trying to avoid purchasing another plesk license and having to setup a whole new plesk installation just to do this.. This is a vps by the way, not a dedicated server...
I have a server with two hard disks.
The centos operating system and plesk (and also apache webserver) are installed on the first hard disk.
I have mounted the second hard disk (6 TB with ext4 file system) in a folder under /var/www/vhosts/AHostingAccount directory.
This folder is accessible via plesk's file manager but i cannot access it via ftp.
In moving my site to Drupal, I have had it on a "Beta" account on the same server. I need to move the DB to the "Live" site. How do I re-assign it using the master PHPMyAdmin through WHM to change the owner of the DB from "Beta site" to "Live site"?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have installed a new SSL cert and tried to assign it to an IP address.
Plesk says "Information: The properties of the IP address .... were changed."
But it seems the SSL cert was not changed.
Running in mysql the following query
select d.name from domains d inner join hosting h on h.dom_id = d.id where h.certificate_id = <id of new cert>;
gives:
Empty set (0.00 sec)
I changed the cert for the IP where all my domains are so it should show the domains using that IP/cert. Running the query using the ID of the old cert lists all the domains on that IP/cert.

At some point, not sure when, PHPMyAdmin's (as accessed through the admin panel by clicking on a customer, manage hosting, databases, etc) permissions have changed such that I cannot view, edit or add MySQL routines/procedures. This appears to have occurred system-wide, though I have not checked every database on the server.
Is there a fix to get the permissions set so that I can make these changes again?
Are that possible to change root password on plesk?
I have a man so work for me on my server and install double php version on my server and maybe it`s best and change password to root!
So no one have access to my root more.

I found a solution on the internet and updated the records with phpmyadmin [URL] ....
When I click on Login at the the WordPress Installations I'm still being navigated to the old website url. It supprices me that there is no option to change it on Plesk level after wordpress is deployed.
How can i change or update the wordpress path once it is installed in Plesk?
I'm using CentOS 6.2, maybe there is a config file or an database for Plesk?
I dont find where or how can I change default mailbox size, traffic and disk space for each domain in Plesk 12 Web App Edition, I only have unlimited by default.
View 15 Replies View RelatedWe have installed our plesk servers using parallels plesk mage from AWS market place. We are unable to change the system time from default NOVT.
$ date
Mon Nov 10 13:28:25 NOVT 2014
When we tried changing time to EST from plesk tools / by linking /etc/localtime to /usr/share/zoneinfo/EST
We can see the logs are updated with the EST timings but 'date" command still shows the NOVT.
Due to this installed fail2ban is not working properly due the difference in the system time with logs time.
I am trying to move a particular domain to a different subscriber but am getting an error. I haven't had any problems with this function before.

There is a way to change where the backups are temporary until the hole backup is on the server? In case the only thing to do is to change where the tmp folder is mounted. This is a production server, I won't like to do it without knowing all the steps.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWe have a website under httpdocs/. We can change/delete files with a ftp user : "ftpold". All is ok. We must create another ftp access for another company which can access only to httpdocs directory (not to logs/, error_docs/...).
So we have create a ftp access in Plesk. But with this ftp connexion, we can not update/delete files ou update rights.
So we decide to change rights on the files/directories under httpdocs with the new ftp access :
httpdocs# chown -R ftpnewsacln *
The is no errors but the files:directories are always with the old ftp user :
httpdocs# ls -l
ftpold psacln ... libs/
ftpold pscln ... index.php
Why ? How can i create another ftp access ?
I need changing the nginx port. I've followed various threads and have created a custom nginxDomainVirtualHost.php file at: /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/templates/custom/domain, while the website indeed moves to the port I have set, a second nginx thread starts at port 80 and takes over in it's place.
I need to put varnish at port 80 and cannot do so until all services relinquish control on port 80.

Turn's out to be able to change the nginx port to a non-standard port you need to edit 6 files
nginx.php
nginxDomainForwarding.php
nginxDomainForwardingIpDefault.php
nginxDomainVhost.php
nginxDomainVhostIpDefault.php
nginxWebmail.php
For the time being i disabled SSL support for my test domain as I didn't need it. The line you need to look for the in above files is:

To get this to work you'll need to create a custom directory at: /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/templates
And copy the files over from the root of /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/templates/default
Not sure why, but for some reason lately our Plesk installation randomly sends us notification emails about alarm level changes which go from Green to yellow, yellow to red, then goes back to normal over time. No changes were made on the server for these constant changes and emails to occur. We have a customer who also has the same issue.. Both focus primarily on nginx with little to no usage of apache.
