Jul 11, 2008Recently the Apache recompailed with eAccelerator after that the below error log has created and also the Apache got crash when reach high traffic.

[notice] child pid 13054 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
Due to this problem I ran the /scripts/upcp --force and again recompailed the Apache with eAccelerator.
later the signal Segmentation fault error not created but instead of above error the following error has been creating. And also again recompailed the without eAccelerator still the below error creating.

Plesk 12.x / Linux :: Exit Signal Segmentation Fault
Jan 16, 2015Parallels Plesk autoinstaller emailed me 03:34 to confirm that Parallels Plesk was successfully updated, but ever since then /var/log/httpd/error_log has entries every 5 minutes stating 'child pid xxxxxx exit signal Segmentation fault (11)'.

Mar 4, 2009Every limestone say of servers are making spam, in my one month of company again, i have new case, but this is high wrong.
Company simple poweroff and send e-mail with "Terminated Server", why? If your company don't can make nothing, i can, if your Windows and Network is not secured i have anything with this?
If your company don't provide services control, i don't can make anything?, if your company don't announce i can make nothing?
Wrong company relations, have only price and good hardware.
StartLogic Account Terminated
May 22, 2009My StartLogic account has been terminated by their "Legal Team" saying that I am violating their TOS. Actually, They've terminated it because I've been using too many resources lately, and they don't have the courage to tell me that their unlimited plan are limited.
Anyway the account is now terminated/suspended/inaccessible and I'm now in progress of moving to a VPS.
I'm contacting them now for several days to download just one database, and then let the account go! But they are not responding No emails received, and when I contact their Live Support chat they have only one one thing to say "I have updated the ticket, one of our specialist will contact you soon." Come on What ticket are you talking about? The account has been already terminated, I want to download a database so I can move my website, I don't want any file as they said we can't backup your files because they violate our TOS, it's Okay, I would like to download a DB, they're just ignoring me

Jul 1, 2008Ok, I have services at Veritynet on a vps, They have terminated our server that is fully PAID for a year without refund, due to a dispute I opened in paypal because of services being down for a week.
I talked with their customer support for three days to get my services back online, and finally said enough is enough, I want a refund to take my service elsewhere, Now he has totally cut off our services even tho the paypal dispute ended in no refund being given.
What is my course of legal action?

Sep 10, 2008We're running two servers with identical configurations, both running Lighty 1.5.0 and PHP 5.2.4, however one of the servers is generating the following error in the PHP error log:
looks like the fastcgi-backend (/) terminated before it sent a FIN packet
We've been Googling all morning and found nothing so I was wondering if anyone perhaps has had the same problem or might know what we could do to fix it. It's quite strange as it's only one of the two servers which generates this error.

Apr 9, 2004Someone posted some code similar to below, I made modifications or two after trying to detect PHP "nobody" users, after dumping a few printenv I found PHP exports PWD when calling an external program such sendmail. Basically the PWD will show the user directory that is coming from, which is enough to detect who is sending SPAM even as nobody! It's not 100% secure in that they could wipe /var/log/formmail but I don't imagine any spam will notice the logger, they presume any cPanel server (or other CP for that matter) is the same.

I run a site that does a lot of transfers AND uses a lot of CPU resources. I think I would like to get two different hosting plans to deal with these different patterns of usage, but where can I find a good host offering lots of bandwidth that is content to have it actually used? I've been with DreamHost for a while but they don't allow "data archiving" or whatever (and I have arguments against their claims but it's neither here nor there). So, really, where the heck can a guy find a good host offering plenty of space and bandwidth? Keep in mind I need pretty much no CPU power with such a plan; the web server can be stone cold stupid for all I care, as I can just get a VPS to run the CPU-intensive part of my site!

Weve deleted the common logs we always notice, but thats only gotten us down to %94.
