Mail() Is Running VERY Slowly On All Of The Linux Packages Of My Reseller Account

i am at my witts end here. mail() is running VERY slowly on all of the linux packages of my reseller account. Runs fine on windows, but not linux. The odd thing is that it also takes forever for some forms to load too. For mail(), if i switch from my hosting provider's email account in the to section of mail() to my isp or gmail or anything else, it will run fine. What could be the problem here? My host says he checked all the server records and levels and everything is fine, but my scripts can't be the problem either - they have been untouched for years!

I know some hosting companies will let you resell web hosting as well as dedicate servers. I was curious to know if there were any VPS reseller packages out there? And if so what companies offer such solutions?

Weird problem in whm (cpanel 10x)
Reseller packages show all 5 in list packages or delete packages, but not in upgrade account, where it shows only one.
What could be the cause? I already did /scripts/updateuserdomains and forced cpanel upgrade.

I ordered a dedicated server for Windows VPS testing (XEN). I ordered it with CentOS 5.

One of my domains has been moved to another hosting company, and now I need to export all emails from the mail account in Plesk in order to import them to the new mail system. I figured the easiest way to IMPORT is to access the new mailbox via Outlook, and import as a .csv file. But I need exporting all the emails from the inbox and sent folder into a .csv file.
I've found the location of the mail box (var/qmail/mailnames/domain.com/user/maildir) but now I'm stuck and don't know how to proceed. Is there an easy way to export all emails?
I've tried through webmail (Roundcube) and there is a "download mail" feature that downloads the message in eml format, but that doesn't work on bulk, only for one mail at a time (and this isn't an option for me since we are talking +1000 emails). Also I'm a bit usure on how to import eml files to outlook (drag'n'drop doesn't work), so a csv option would be perfect.

I registered a domain name and setup a Linux server on GoDaddy, choosing Plesk panel with Power Pack. Inside the panel I created an email address, which I can access from the webmail interface without problems. I decided to setup my clients as well, using the IMAP configuration, as I'm using multiple devices.
I followed the instructions for Outlook express and I was able to setup the account on my virtual machine, with Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail.Though, speaking of the host machine, a MacBook Pro, I normally use Apple Mail that comes with MacOS. Instructions for setting up Mail are updated back to Snow Leopard at least and they do not work properly. I tried various configurations, but I was only able to receive mail on the account, while sending won't work at all.
I'd like Parallels to update the guide or, at least, to open a KB page with the solution(s) to this issue: I googled it and found out that it is a common issue.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
When triggering the events 'Mail account created' or 'Mail account modified' the returned variable NEW_MAILBOX will always state TRUE regardless of the mailbox option being ticked or not ticked on the 'New mail account' option located on the 'Mail' tab of a subscription.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1: Log in to plesk.
2. Select 'Tools & Settings'
3: Select 'Event Manager'
4: Select 'Add New Event Handler'
5: Select Event 'Mail account updated'
6: Enter in '/usr/bin/php /root/scripts/dbmail/mail_mod.php' to the Command box.

ACTUAL RESULT
[NEW_MAILBOX] => true
EXPECTED RESULT
[NEW_MAILBOX] => false
ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I submitted this with parallels support and they stated that the variable NEW_MAILBOX will always return as TRUE regardless of if the mailbox option is ticked or not. They also stated the NEW_MAILBOX variable will be true regardless of any action taken on the panel with mail accounts.
The actual documentation on this variable is very sparse

We previously had some code that would trigger on this variable and would create a mail account on our mail server with or without a mailbox.

At some point this variable has stopped working with newer versions of plesk. Having a variable that is always true regardless of what is done when creating a mail account seems pointless and requesting a new feature that was already there in older versions doesnt seem like something that should be requested on a new feature request.
QUESTION: Is there anyway to get this functionality restored other than requesting it gets re added via [URL] ....

In Plesk (V. 12.0.18) there is no possibility to create mail accounts for subdomains via web interface. The KB article [URL] ..... describes this problem. The article suggests two possible ways.
I don´t want to use option 1 (create subdomain as additional domain) because a subdomain as domain wastes a domain in the license model.
Instead of that I tried the second way (command line interface). I can execute the first command without problems. When I try to execute the second command, I get the following error: "An error occured during mailname creation: Unable to set password: Domain of type subdomain selected".

I'm curious, how do you all Cpanel server owners setup reseller accounts for clients? I find myself doing it this way (providing 2 static IP's, for ns1/ns2)
1. create reseller account
2. ssh > edit nameserverips and manually add ns1/ns2 to the two select IP's of choice
3. change account IP to first main static IP, in whm
Any one else do it this way, or another method? I use WHMCS also, which creates the account automatically, but I have to edit nameserverips and appy ns1/ns2 manually in whm (A dns zone) manually.
Also, I'm wanting to upgrade some of the PHP 4 / MYSQL 4 boxes to PHP 5 / MYSQL 5. Is it worth it, or not? If yes, what methods could I use to assure no side effects for some clients' scripts, or at least some method to help them should an issue arise?

Me and a friend decided to switch from 2 reseller accounts and get a dedicated box.
What is the best way to set this up? If I understand right we will need a root domain and then create 2 reseller accounts under that.
Is there anywhere I can find a tutorial on this, or can someone point me in the right direction.

I know how to make backups and to transfer each client account separately, but I am just wondering if it is possible to transfer all customer accounts in WHM at once. You see, if for example I have more than 200 customers (hosting accounts) and wish to switch to another hosting company it will be difficult for me to transfer each account separately, that’s why I am asking this question. Has anyone had reseller account transfer experience?

I didn't know where to put this question so please forgive me if it is the wrong section.
I received an email yesterday from the abuse department of my reseller hosting saying I was overusing the resources. I asked what was causing this as my sites are small and built with cubecart.
I got a reply today asking me about something called mode.exe which is causing load and increasing limits at Average usage stats.
I have no idea what this is so can any of you tell me what it is and how I can resolve this issue as the abuse person recommended a VPS package to me which will cost me a fortune and is something I really shouldn't need for such small sites.

I currently have a series of websites hosted with HostGator. The thing is, having a series of shared hosting plans starts to add up after a while. What I was considering was purchasing a reseller account (which will save us about $15/month) and then just hosting all our websites from there, obviously, not reselling the plans, just using them internally. For the savings, it seems like a logical thing to do. When we purchased shared plans, I bought bigger plans than we need, expecting the sites to grow (which some have, others have not).
Has anyone done this? Do you suggest it? Would there be a better way than buying a reseller account (We can't afford a dedicated server quite yet)?

They say they've completed it but I can not find any config files for mod_dosevasive in my httpd.conf file. Is there a way I can check to see what packages or software or tools are installed on the server?

I'm trying to make use of the multiple PHP versions in Plesk 12, however the newer versions are missing some packages my websites require.
When yum installing them it just tries to install to the default PHP5.3 version so says it is already installed.
As I didn't compile these php versions how can I install additional PHP packages to the supplied additional versions in Plesk?

Does anyone know of a hosting Linux package (must be UK based) that has the usuals (PHP, MySQL, subdomains, email, Apache ModRewrite) that is geared towards hosting lots of low bandwidth sites?
I use several great hosters but they limit the amount of addon domains or charge you through the roof for extra ones. I'm thinking a package that will let me do 15 - 25 domains. More would be a bonus. The bandwidth allowance is not a problem. A lot of my customers' sites use less than 100 MB a month.

I am having a reseller hosting with a host. This host provides private DNS. Hosting provider remains Anonymous. So when some one search for whois they will not know I am running a reseller hosting biz.
Now I am planning to change the hosting provider to another one who provides higher capacity and higher bandwidth but they will not provide DNS. I need to use their DNS.
How do I provide get a my own DNS so that host remains Anonymous?

With my new VPS, I am trying to disable Statistics software (Awstats & Webalizer) for one reseller account (and all account under it).
So I went to
"Statistics Software Configuration" --> "User Permissions" Selected the user and under "configure" unchecked both option. Is that enough??
When I view "Statistics Status Summary" for all users, it still shows them as "green" for that user.
I haven't actually moved anything to this VPS.
