I'm on plesk 12.0.18 Update #53 and have run the plesk reconfigurator to check for permissions issues.
I have a problem with my plesk v11, when i create a new subdomain and upload my asp.net application to that and make a request to view my web page it get Server Error 401 :
401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.
But my main web site have not any problem and works fine, my changes that didn't work :
1) change in web.config file :

</authentication>
2) change in web config file :
<authorization>
<allow users="?"/>
</authorization>
Another question that i have is this happens because the Plesk's default permission assigning to the main domain so the users can view content without problem, but the permission isnt assign to the created subdomains ?
If this is the problem, how can i fix it so my users can see the content with our Windows Authentication or Forms authentication or anything else?

We have a little issue with the API, when we want to add an subscription, then we became "Error: Permission denied. (1006)" - but the subscription was added. The status Icon of the Subscription is a "!" and they say (tooltip), that the Plan wasn't correctly synchronized, but we don't use a Plan for this. The Reseller has all rights, there are now limits.

I don't know when we had this problem the first time, but i know that if had worked in Plesk 12 correctly - i think the problem came up with the last 4 - 6 MU.
We actually have Plesk 12.0.18 Update #16 and running it on Debian 6.0.9.
Recently we had to rollback the Plesk database and Plesk version files to their pre-upgrade state, and rerun the upgrade procedure as it is described in the knowledge base [URL] ..... The update process then worked smoothly and we are now using the newest version 12.0.18 on CentOS 6 with the newest microupdates 1200150615.10.
But right after this update procedure we are not able to access some domains with the filemanager anymore. The browser shows the following error message:

What I did so far was the following:
1.) I checked out the knowledge base, specifically this entry was worth looking at. But /usr/local/psa/bin/repair --restore-vhosts-permissions didn't solve the problem.
2.) I found a similar problem in the discussion board but the approaches they took weren't successful in my case.
Due to the fact that the file manager worked before the rollback of the database and the major upgrade, I think there might be a connection.
From my point of view the permission settings should be right. Other domains using exactly the same permissions and they are working fine.

We are having a dedicated server with Windows 2003 and Hosting Controller on it with MS SQL 2005 Express Edition.
Since last few days, we had this problem that MDaemon mail server would go down on some pagefault and server used to get hang, and when we investigated Event Viewer, we find 100s of errors of the following message.

We replaced HDD, and reinstalled windows 2003 and built the server back with every peice of software we had it earlier, but now the old HDD is still there as D drive, but not in use, still server got down today. We belive its no longer the HDD issue, but now problem is how to get root of this problem and how to monitor?
I had minor hint from searching on google that some trojan would create too many handles would cause system to go down this way, but here we rebuilt the entire server with fresh installations downloaded from vendors websites.
If MDaemon is creating too many handles, how to monitor and how to restart it in such an event?
I migrate from plesk 9.5 to another server with plesk 12.0.18, and then outlook and mail default from iphone don't work, but tunderbird and webmail work well.
In outlook when i put the same configuration than tunderbird and i try to send mail out from my domain said this error:

I don't know if outlook is bad configuration but with plesk 9.5 worked well, and now nothing.
I can recive mail but not send.
One of my users is unable to connect to his database using phpMyAdmin. The query is:

And mysql reports:

The funny part is that I can connect without any problems from a shell like this:
mysql -u <USERNAME> -p<PASSWORD> -D <DATABASE_NAME>.
This server has been recently migrated from plesk9 to plesk11.5, running on a centos6 OS.
On the dashboard (intro page) there is the option "Outgoing Mail Control" and there the link "See report". When clicking on "See report" I get a "Warning: Permission denied." error message when being logged in as the full administrator. Is this due to an error in an update or what is going on here?

I installed the SiteProBuilder (from the www.site.pro page) in extensions of the Parallels Plesk Panel 11.5.30. I installed from .zip file on administrator account of Plesk Panel. The extension SiteBuilder was shown in all administrated subscriptions. On administrator account the extension works properly but when I log into the Plesk Panel as a client of one subscription then extension doesn't start and message is displayed: "Error: access denied".

I seem to have an error with backing up to my personal FTP repository. I have only just noticed the issue, but i believe it originated when I upgraded Plesk Panel 11 to Plesk Panel 12. I am currently running version 12.0.18 on Cent OS 6.5.
Note whether i check the "Use passive mode" option makes no difference to my problem.Below is what I get from the panel.log under /usr/local/psa/admin/logs

After setting up a new server on Plesk12, I successfully ran some test mail outs using phpmailer using the SMTP server on this machine
However, there was an issue in creating new local mail accounts in plesk with an error message each time.
Investigating this issue led me to a solution that I should run mail_restore from the Plesk scripts
This cured the problem of setting up new local accounts but outgoing SMTP mail is always failing with 'relay access denied'.
How can I allow only one ip or a list of ip addresses to access port 8443.I need to limit access this port to few ip addresses and not everyone
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm using Plesk 12.0.18 version with Windows 2012. I need to backup files to remote ftp server. Remote server configuration is Windows 2012 with IIS server. It works with ftp clients very well.
But, i have a problem about Personel FTP Repository. I open Personal FTP Repository Settings and write all boxes with true information about remote ftp server but it says "Transport error: unable to list directory: Curl error: Login denied".
Ftp server works fine with ftp clients and cpanel backups.
Upgrading was started not half an hour ago from the time this post goes out, all went well until the MySQL was started up. I rent through OVH, so we don't get support access or anything. We just get a 15 site license and that's it so I don't know who to turn to for this.. I haven't ever touched anything in regards to SQL and the likes, all I did was click the upgrade button and this failed me. And now I've pretty much lost everything until this is resolved.

I want to make outgoing authentication activate instead of allowing some iprange or domain for relaying through /etc/mail/access.
I am installing a .NET application on a client's server but they don't know much about IIS and neither do I.
I am having an access denied issue when browsing a recently installed website on a fresh .NET framework. The "%systemroot%Microsoft.NETFrameworkv2.0.50727Temporary ASP.NET Files" folder appears to have the correct rights, I read that incorrect rights could be a reason for this issue. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a strange problem that I encounter sometimes. I have 3 websites on my hosting account. About once a week, I will try to access one of those sites and I will get a timeout or connection error in my browser. I will not have any problem viewing any other websites and as soon as I restart my computer, I can view my sites again.
It seems like either my computer, wifi router, isp or webhost decides to block me from accessing any of my 3 sites for no apparent reason. Restarting my computer fixs this. My ip does not change when I restart my computer so I do not know why it would suddenly allow me acces again but it does.
What is this problem likley to be? A bug on my computer, a bug on my server? My isp being retarded? No one else seems to have any problems accessing my site, I would guess it is a local issue. What I can not figure out though, is why it only happens to my own websites on my hosting account. This never happens when trying to view any other websites except my own(on my hosting account). This cannot be a coincidence. It is a big mystery to me.
I've setup a mysql user and assigned a password for it. When I try logging in to it with

I have many accounts on my server, everyone can connect via FTP but when they try to upload something they get "access denied", i get it too, sometimes it works for a few minutes and goes back to giving me access denied. I have not changed any settings since it was working just fine before. I checked the folder permissions, user permissions, used chown command to make sure the folders belonged to the correct users/groups and I disabled the firewall same thing, any ideas what might be going on? do you this I have a virus on the server? it's a linux server

I get this message for any email address i send externally.
