Changing PHP Settings through control panel for domain not take effect to domain through phpinfo()
I'm trying to change upload_max_filesize and post_max_size through control panel but it don't take effect on the website.
I recently purchased a dedicated server with Godaddy, I also registered a domain with same Godaddy.
Now when I tried to add a new domain in plesk, I got a warning message that "the domain is pointed to 192.198.XX.XX" which is different from my dedicated server IP. The message also says I should edit the DNS.
Now my question is What do I need to edit from the default dns plesk has assigned to my domain? Do I need to use the domain's default IP. I want to be able to host multiple website on my server...
I received an error message "Error: Failed to remove mobile site: Can't delete a site that's not active " when try to remove a mobile website in Plesk control panel and if i try to edit site content i received another error message "Can't access a site that's not active" from [URL] ....
These notification messages are originating from UNITY Mobile platform. The reason is actually hinted in the messages themselves - both the site and the editor account have been already disabled and there are no handlers anymore to modify their status further, so the messages are correct from UNITY Mobile platform's standpoint.
It appears that Plesk control panel has somehow retained in its configuration information about the site availability and is giving the plesk control panel the option to configure the mobile site despite the fact that UNITY Mobile platform is returning "deleted" status back to Plesk. Plesk should be given an option to create a new site instead now.
I would like to know how to manage Plesk in this situation.

I added users directly to mailenable (using their migration utility to import from an old mail server which plesk does not support). The domains exist in plesk but not the individual email users/mailboxes.
Now I want to add those email users to plesk but it doesn't let (not surprisingly), when I try to add a user it returns an error: "Unable to update the mail account properties:mailmng failed: MEAOPO.Mailbox.AddMailbox failed"
My question is: How can I add the users that already exist in MailEnable to the plesk configuration? (i.e. ignore the error and add the user to the plesk database, or even better yet if plesk can read the configuration and add all users)
Tthe plesk kb articles suggest running mchk.exe but that is designed to take users from plesk and add them to mailenable, I need the reverse).
I've tried to install the DotNetNuke 7.0.6 appl. over plesk. if i call the website, i get a configuration error

I recently upgraded from Plesk 11.5 to 12.0. I also just got an extra IPv4-address for my server (provider is Strato), unfortunately I have some problems with adding it to Plesk.
The IP should be assigned automatically through DHCP, but when I did a Reread IP in Plesk, nothing happened. I tried to manually add the IP, but then Plesk manually configured it and I lost the IPv4-connectivity (IPv6 kept working though).
Now when I want to remove the IP, I get the following error:

I'll be using dreamweaver on my windows machine as usual and in the past have always used a windows platform with hosts. Unfortunately my mate has gone for a linux package with his host.
I have issue on my windows server 2003..
I have a file hosting script, but server uploads only 2MB...
I have edited my script to 100 Mb, but still same issue...
Than i tried editing php.ini file and increased:
Max Upload size to 100 Mb
Max Post Size = 100 Mb
Than Rebooted IIS.. and even server.
but still same issue... i can't upload a file larger than 2mb on Windows server...
New to Plesk in general so I don't know for sure if the "Register Domain Names" feature is part of our 'Web Pro Edition' or comes by default.
Also, is the domain registration option showing up because when installing Plesk I enabled the "Enable access to premium commercial apps"?
So my question is, can we still set it up so users have access to install applications (free and commercial), but disable the domain registration option?
I was creating an Plesk extension and I need to edit root's crontab for the extension to work properly. While doing some experiment I understand that the Plesk extension works with the permission of psaadm . So I cannot use shell_exec to do this. Is there any api or cli interface where I will be able to do this. Is there any possibility to override the restriction of psaadm user through extension.

I'm on a windows vps with 640mb of ram and I'm always at high level of usage of ram and 100% of cpu.. obviously the website slows down and it takes about 15 seconds to show up!
I've tried to put some indexes to my db but I'm not really expert in that.

In my computer (Windows 7 Ultimate) I host my sites with Apache 2.2.25 - mod_fcgid-2.3.6-win32-x86 and PHP 5.4.28. In "httpd-vhosts.conf" file from Apache I have my domain set as follows and work fine (http://www.example.com or http://example.com):

Error.log files for "director.example.com" and Apache is empty. How can I configure the subdomain to work?
All my PHP script can't upload file. I have tried to set CGI Application or FastCGI Application to my domain, but I can't resolve this issue.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a big problem concerning the file upload limit (I need a large size, around 2Go) : I was using my app in /var/www/vhost/default and it was working perfectly, I decided to change it and use /var/www/vhost/mydomain.com to have it throught the plesk panel, and there I have an upload limit than I need to push. I can't upload files larger than 128Mo and I don't know why.
- I have checked all php.ini files (with locate php.ini) and they are all correct.
- I used plesk panel to set php conf -> done.
- I put :
php_value memory_limit 2000M
php_value upload_max_filesize 2000M
php_value post_max_size 2000M
in my .htaccess in htdocs

I reload/restart apache2, psa, ... And it still doesn't work, I have no more idea every conf file seems correct. It's not a permission problem because I can upload some 80Mo files but not 500Mo ...
We are having an issue upload a 300mb mysql database to phpmyadmin.. With direct mysql file, t stops and only copies a few tables, stating to reupload to continue (which it doesn't and states that there are pre-existing tables). With zip file, it does the same.. at one point at 504 error occurred.

I did not try editing last_httpd.include as it was recommended that this was not edited in the post above.
Is there something I am missing!
The Parallels version is 11.0.9 on Linux. It is a VPS package. Is it possible that the host is not allowing the increase or is it all down to my setup?
I have install FFMPEG on my server today and all is correct as patch, installing with more. But when i try and upload video to to network so stay there only:

I have check in my sitepanel and patch is correct. After install i restart my server but i can not upload nothing video.
I have 1 domain so i will use upload script on but there is some issue when i try and upload file.
I have upload 1 file so was 11MB &
1 file so was 6MB without problem.
And try with a file so was 17.46MB and this will not upload. It seems to me that it is a barrier for some space 16MB of uploading! Since that work and upload file so was 6 & 11MB but when I try and upload a file so is 17.46 or higher it stop.

I'm running Plesk 12. I install it today, using the ISO which parallels provides, which includes centos 6.5 and preinstalled Plesk 12 in my vps. Then I logged in plesk, and I did everything it wants. Then I upgraded my php, to php 5.4.36 according to the manual that Paralells provides, and then I tried to increase the max upload file size for phpmyadmin. I have edited my /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/php.ini file and tried to restart using with 3 different ways using terminal:
1st: service sw-cp-server restart
2st: /etc/init.d/psa stop
/etc/init.d/psa start
3st: reboot (which rebooted all the vps)
My php.ini file is:
