The page you are requesting cannot be served because of the extension configuration. If the page is a script, add a handler. If the file should be downloaded, add a MIME map.
I have setup Nginx to serve static pages. I cache some pages and therefor they are static and should be served by Nginx. Now, how can i check if a specific page actual was served by Nginx and not Apache?
View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a problem with my plesk 12 Installation on a Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard machine.
When I select a Website and want to change the php settings for that page it wont apply the new settings.
I placed a phpinfo() file in the Folder of that Website to test that. The weird thing is when i change the memory_limt value it is visible on the phpinfo() but when i change post_max_size or upload_max_filesize nothing changes.

All settings of the custom error page were made and worked correctly, however the next day the setting was lost after reset again and returned to work.
But stopped working again, I use Plesk 11...

I recently upgraded from Plesk 11.5 to 12.0. I also just got an extra IPv4-address for my server (provider is Strato), unfortunately I have some problems with adding it to Plesk.
The IP should be assigned automatically through DHCP, but when I did a Reread IP in Plesk, nothing happened. I tried to manually add the IP, but then Plesk manually configured it and I lost the IPv4-connectivity (IPv6 kept working though).
Now when I want to remove the IP, I get the following error:
Is this a bug or a problem with my specific configuration?
I'm unable to access my plesk control panel .its giving this error "Unable to read Control Panel configuration file";tried all available solution for permissions but the problem remains.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI run a the polyglot website [URL] .... and my question is about "how to serve a page in the language preferred by the user, if available?"
At the moment I use Multiviews to add a language code to the requested URL according to the AcceptLanguage header (e.g. if "tr", serve index.html.tr instead of index.html), but this information doesn't always match user wish and I was told that serving different filenames for the same requested URI can prevent proper pages indexing by search engines.
So, I will now store web pages in each language in a specific directory, e.g. subdirectories en, it ru, tr, etc. For instance /tr/index.html will be in Turkish.
On every page, user can change language clicking on a link showing e.g. "uk" for Ukrainian. Now I want that once they do that all pages requested by the same client be served in the same language, unless/until user click on another language link.
I know that I could set a cookie or use HTTP-REFERER for that, but possibly the browser can be set to refuse cookies or not sent the Referer HTTP header.
So my question is : knowing that when a user click on a language link we serve a page in the corresponding directory, how could I reuse that information for next request of the same client (same IP address), including it in a RewriteCond directive so that I can serve requested page in the same language directory, if it exists.
I wish to avoid server side scripting (at present the website is 100% static).

I have a problem with one of our websites. For some reason, only that one website won't load and shows an error page. This domain is not propogating, nor has it had any changes to any DNS records lately, and it was working around five minutes ago.

One of my customers faced a problem to send emails from one of his local mailboxes to another of his local mailboxes! I have install Plesk 11.5.3 on my Windows Server 2008 r2. I want to try Mailenable on the PleskServer, so i installed the feature, but know when I am calling the webmailer with http:webmail.domainname.de works fine, but when I try https://webmail.domainname.de i become a Not found: HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found
Whats wrong? On my linux Server its work fine...
I've just recently installed Plesk Panel 11.5. Previously I was using a basic IIS Mail Server with the current server allowed to relay messages for my Web Sites.After installing Plesk, I went to Tools & Settings -> Server-Wide Mail Settings. In there, I have relaying set to Authorization is required (SMTP) and for the relay access I have the following 3 entries:

I have a problem with my server. I am trying to make a subdomain, and it isn't working. I create it like how in all tutorials says here( click here ) . I completed all fields, but when i try to open the subdomain in a browser page, it's telling me, page not found / page doesn't exist. I have a dedicated server on window server 2008 for my website with a dedicated IP.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm running PP 11.0.9 on Windows 2008 R2 and I've tried to add a PHP extension to the additional directives box of the PHP settings page (domain), however this has no effect on PHP. If I add the extension manually to PHP.ini then it works fine, but adding it to the "additional directives" box does nothing - I've confirmed this on 3 different servers, it does the same on all of them.
I did some searching and it looks like others have this problem too: [URL] ....
when trying to uninstall this extension I get the following error: Executing /opt/psa/admin/plib/modules/panel-news/scripts/pre-uninstall.php failed.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI installed Route 53 extension to manage a slave DNS server but when a add or remove some domain the process does not complete, Plesk stays loading without finish domain creation.
When I disable the extension, Plesk create and remove domains without any problem.
What could be happening?

I create a new domain then use Plesk Applications tab to install Wordpress. It shows the message:

The 'mysql' extension was not found.
However, php is installed and phpinfo shows that the mysql extension is installed. I try different versions of php, cgi/fastcgi but ll fail with the same error. I install Wordpress via FTP and it works fine.
There are knowledge-base articles relating to this error but they are for Linux and the solutions don't work in this case:

Maybe the Wordpress database has to be created before using Plesk to install Wordpress? If so, what should the database name be? How does Plesk know what the name of the database is that it should use? Why doesn't Plesk just create a database to use?
The problem is that i want to hide the php extension from the visitor so that no one knows what scripting language lies beneath..

I've been trying to install a new WHM/cpanel in a clean machine with RAID 1 and in the middle in the install (its a long process as u may know well) throws me some strange messages like this
Apache restart failed. Unable to load pid from pid file and no httpd process found in process list.
If apache restart reported success but it failed soon after, it may be caused by oddities with mod_ssl.
You should run /scripts/ssl_crt_status as part of your troubleshooting process. Pass it --help for more details.
Also be sure to examine apache's variouse log files.

I have following problem when I try to cange the configuration file for Nginx in Plesk.
Details:
- Using Wordpress
- vServer
- PHP is handled through Nginx
- Memcached is enabled
To use the caching plugin "Cachify" in combination with memcached, the nginx configuration file must be edited. Following config should be used:

Yesterday I migrated a domain with the migration tool from a Debian 7.6 Plesk 12.0.18 MU35 box to a Debian 7.6 Plesk 12.0.18 MU35 box
This domain have a simple DNS configuration. The A registry for the domain.com was an own IP instead the IP of the server. Rest of the DNS configuration was the same.
After migration the A registry for the domain.com was an own IP too (as expected) but also the A registry for mail.domain.com
Before migration, in the old server:
A domain.com x.x.x.x (own ip)
A mail.domain.com y.y.y.y (server ip)
After migration, in the new server:
A domain.com x.x.x.x
A mail.domain.com x.x.x.x
The migration had changed the IP for mail.domain.com for the IP of the A registry for domain.com
Very strange. I double-checked it (as the domain in the "old" server was suspended)
Client don´t have access to the control panel, so no changes done.
I have installed Parallels Plesk 12.0.18 installed on my Windows Server. I have found issues with my DNS and SOA records having issues it says I have not configured my DNS and SOA records when I do a DNS diagnosis.
