I'm trying to add a new subscription and I get the error
Error: Discard mode not supported
I've tried adding a test domain to other clients even my main admin and I still get this error. Panel version 11.5.30 Update #31, last updated at Jan 30, 2014 04:02 AM
I believe that is the only thing that changed between my last domain creation and today's attempt. Anyway to rollback ? Or anyway to get more information on this error ?
I'm running on Plesk's auto-update and I have it set to "Late adopter release"....

Is there a way to restart IIS via the Plesk 11.5 service provider panel (windows 2008 server with no root access).
I am trying to setup custom error pages and the documentation says to restart IIS after you make the change. At i dont have root access i currently have to ring Webfusion and ask them to do it

Why don't they put their contact address, phone numbers etc. in their website.

Tho I never sold a hosting but would be nice if the reselling option just on the list..
I really didn't wanted to change the current host, been with them for 4 years!!! but they are oldies, and paying about $75 a year for a mere 200 MB space.. its a win 2000 server; and separate cost for sql 2000.
Guess what, I need reliable peoples, and a Great customer service.
talked to IXwebhosting. boooo. Even it was a sales chat. you got to wait a long time to see what's the next text could ever pop up. I didn't like that.

I tried adding an apache service node to PPA Admin Node.
I referred to the specs at [URL] ....
Specifications of the Apache server node are:
RHEL 6.4 64bit
RAM 3GB
CPU 2.5GHz
Free Space 18GB
Ports Opened:
80, 443: HTTP, HTTPS
8352-8999: Communication between a service node and PPA panels
22: Communication through SSH
20, 21: FTP connections
But when I tried adding it as a service node, PPA says The Linux platform installed on the remote host 'xx.xx.xx.xx' is not supported. Please, check the list of supported platforms.

I have a new CentOS 7, with Plesk 12, CentOS 7 by default has XFS filesystem.
I try migrate sites from another Plesk Server but Plesk agent say: "hard disk quota is not supported due to configuration of server file system" (my CentOS 7)
My CentOS7:
CentOS Linux 7.0.1406 64 bits
Plesk 12.0.36
My fstab
[root@ns ~]$ cat /etc/fstab
/dev/mapper/centos-root / xfs defaults,usrquota,grpquota 1 1
UUID=ba391bd5-786c-4ae7-8bbd-f36f831ae6eb /boot xfs defaults 1 2
/dev/mapper/centos-swap swap swap defaults 0 0
I added "usrquota,grpquota", then mount -o remount / ; but when I try quotacheck -fmv / I gest this:
[root@ns ~]$ quotacheck -fmv /
quotacheck: Skipping /dev/mapper/centos-root [/]
quotacheck: Cannot find filesystem to check or filesystem not mounted with quota option.
but quotaon command works:
[root@ns ~]$ quotaon /
quotaon: Enforcing group quota already on /dev/mapper/centos-root
quotaon: Enforcing user quota already on /dev/mapper/centos-root
The problem here is why Plesk does not recognize quotas as enabled on CentOS 7??
If I try this command it seems good:
[root@ns ~]$ /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/usermng --isquotable
0
Also I do this:
- Disabled Selinux
- Check all packages as quota, etc.

Has anyone had issues with Level3 honoring their discard community recently (3556:9999)? We had to null 2 IPs earlier in the week. The first one they didn't pick up the route when advertised via BGP (or if they did, it took hours). We ended up having to call and get them to filter it manually. The second IP we were able to null route fine using BGP. Now we have another IP being attacked and it looks like Level3 isn't going to pick up the route and discard traffic.

I am trying out Plesk 11 for windows, so far I like it and will most likely buy it. I am having a problem with a new domain, however. I just created the domain, and I installed wordpress on it using Plesk's application page. If I go to [URL] .... it will not load, however if I go to [URL] .... it loads just fine. I even edited the directory to make sure that IIS looks for index.php first, but this didn't fix it. What am I missing?

I have a fresh install of 11.5 on Windows Server 2008r2. I have setup a domain from a 9.5 backup. Everything _looks_ okay, php settings look fine, but php pages give the following with detailed error reporting:
HTTP Error 404.3 - Not Found
The page you are requesting cannot be served because of the extension configuration. If the page is a script, add a handler. If the file should be downloaded, add a MIME map.
Note that this happens whether I select php 5.2 or 5.4

For self diagnostic I delete all files on my root directory (C:Inetpubvhostsmydomainhttpdocs) and put only 2 files

When I browse for index.html. It display properly. When I browse for index.php the error persist. What could be wrong?

I am new to Parallels software, more specifically Parallels Panels. I have installed a trial copy of the software on my Windows 2008 R2 SP1. This is a Dedicated machine with no other users on it. I presume installation of Panels was successful because I can log in and see the admin control panel. I created a customer with success. I am now trying to create a subscription using the default service plan. After entering all the appropriate info on the new subscription page and submitting it, a few moments later I receive the following error:

Trying to restore a database in plesk 11 I got the following error.
Error: dbbackup failed: Unable to restore database 'database_name'Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo, Version=11.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
There is no wrong with the db, when I restore from it on local machine everything works.

Every time a customer create a website with presence builder, after publish, he gets "Error 503, service is unavaliable" for it's site. We try to develop the website with another software, most like presence builder (PB), and upload the files to plesk. It works like haven. if we go back to PB, it gets the error.
Server: Virtualbox - windows 2008 STD - 3.5GB of memory, 50Gb of HDD (data only and 80% free), 50Gb of HDD for windows (40% free), 3 cores 3.5GHZ;
Host: windows 7 ultimate, 16GB of memory, 2x 500GB HDD raid 1 (data only - 80% free), 8core, 3.5GHZ.

While attempting to migrate from previous version of Plesk Panel Windows to current (Windows 2012 R2 with Plesk Panel 12) version, following error appears which stops PMM to proceed further.

This error is generated for all subscriptions which we are trying to migrate and above file can indeed be confirmed missing.

When I try to set a domain's hosting type from "Forwarding" to "Website hosting" I get the following error:

What I tried:
- Using different usernames;
- Checked plesksrv.exe permissions [URL] ;
And right now I'm running the PP Reconfigurator tool, option Plesk File Security, cause I think this issue is related with permissions.

I started a migration from HELM3 to Plesk 11.5 for a client.After 12 hours it failed.the error log says ERROR:()Unable to download dump files to local store.

I finally got to the spam point I had to need to disable the "catchall" email accounts on postfix. I simply removed the catchall lines from /etc/postfix/virtual, and it works correctly, however I want postfix to tell the spammer that the message was accepted but really silently discard it.
right now it discards their email correctly, but postfix emails a reply back to the "from" address (which is most likely faked or some innocent user)

how do I get postfix to silently trash their message, give the smtp reply code that it was successfully accepted, and not email the user back.

When restoring a backup on Plesk 12, the error below is generated for some sites and the sites are only partially restored. Although the message talks about disk space, there is in fact plenty of free disk space - i.e. many GB. The backup was created on Plesk 11.5. The restore on Plesk 11.5 works.
I noticed that all the failed domains exceed the disk space allowed by their Service Plan. However, the 'Overuse is allowed' setting is selected. Strangely, I tried changing the Service Plan and retrying the backup and restore, and the same errors were generated.

We have just installed the plesk version 12. All the installation completed without errors . then we restarted the server . and when we tried to open the plesk through the desktop shortcut we get the error " HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable."

I just configured the plesk server to only allow ftps connections.
When I try to access with a ftp account on the server itself it works well, however when I try to access it from a client PC it get these errors :

On the client PC I configured Filezilla in Passive mode with "Require explicit FTP over TLS".
Normally for the firewall only the port 21 is needed or am I wrong (with explicit FTP and passif configured)?

SmarterMail: v10, v9
Plesk does not read any IP addresses from the server. I can't get past the first webspace setup page that requires a Website IP as the only thing in the list is "None".
The PR Reconfigurator tool doesn't list any IPs in the top section, yet it does list all the server IPs in the bottom right section.
I've tried re-installing Plesking, Repairing, Re-reading IP addresses, all result in the error message below about mailmng.
Neither the latest SmarterMail v10 or v9 are working.
I'm not sure if the issue is with SmarterMail not being able to populate the IP address, or if the issue is with Plesk v11 not being able to read Server 2012's IP addresses.
