Can anybody recommend any online website building script for a web host to use for his customers. I have tried sitestudio but found it impossible to install amd its java based so takes up alot of resources.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION : Permissions assigned to the site are getting reveted after creating/updating page via "Web Presence Builder" STEPS TO REPRODUCE : Login to Plesk > Click on the domain > Launch Web Presence Builder > Upload new page or make any changes in existing page and publish. I have plans of introducing a website so that I can start my online business. The site will be dealing in computer accessories and all the hardware stuff that is related to the computer field with an online purchase facility. But, before that I would like to know the pre-requisites that are needed to run a website of your own that has an online payment option, as I was informed about the SSL certificate issues by my developer and would like to know more on this from you people.
Now that I have learnt what I guess is enough to build a web site (including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Photoshop), I need to know what are the steps to put a web site online. I need to know everything:
1- Purchasing a domain and what are the different possibilities.
2- All about Web Servers (Buying - Renting - different operating systems and platforms)
I was wondering what kind of web hosting I need to have to build an online shopping cart site? Does a shared hosting package work? The site will need to process credit card transactions so it needs to be secured. I'd appreciate some recommendations.
My company is going to launch four online retail site and in need for a dedicated server service provider that can provide us with room to grow from minimal traffic to possibly 2-5k traffic an hour.
Every time a customer create a website with presence builder, after publish, he gets "Error 503, service is unavaliable" for it's site. We try to develop the website with another software, most like presence builder (PB), and upload the files to plesk. It works like haven. if we go back to PB, it gets the error.
Server: Virtualbox - windows 2008 STD - 3.5GB of memory, 50Gb of HDD (data only and 80% free), 50Gb of HDD for windows (40% free), 3 cores 3.5GHZ;
Host: windows 7 ultimate, 16GB of memory, 2x 500GB HDD raid 1 (data only - 80% free), 8core, 3.5GHZ.
I am trying to put all the pieces together. I get a web host with plesk, (currently looking at hostgator VP servers) and I upload my site files to the FTP that they provide. Now I have a hosted website and plesk 11 as the control panel (hopefully).
I am currently learning dreamweaver to build sites, but my questions is this : How to i integrate everything ? i.e.. the hosting plans, web presence builder etc. automatically into my site ? in other words, how do i put lets say a button on my page that the customer would click on to open the web presence builder. or click a button to choose a specific plan specified in the plesk panel and proceed to payment.
Are there some sort of codes to put in div tags in the design of the page that would achieve this ?
I created a New Client Default Domain by copying plesk's original Default Domain. This template is for clients we move from older versions of plesk up to servers with plesk 12.x. Under resources for that "Service Plan Name"
I have Sites published with Presence Builder set to 0 and.Allow customer to create trial Presence Builder websites. Not checked. When I log in as the client I still see Presence Builder with edit Website.I also confirmed the correct plan was picked for that subscription by picking the new "New Client Default Domain" and under add-on plans I picked "remove"
But when I log in as the "client" to see what they would see I see Presence Builder and Edit Website available. How do I get rid of that selection?I can see a client clicking on it and basically over writing their current website.
I have Plesk Panel installed in server 1 and mailenable in server2. I disabled mail service in server 1 and configured external mail (by the way, I cannot start it back) - Tools & Settings -> Mail -> External SMTP Server to my server 2.
Every contact form created with Presence Builder never worked, and I do not know why. Is there any work around? When Plesk is going to handle e-mail forms with a PHP file?
I am facing the following issue: Web Presence Builder icon is missing from Customer Control Panel.
I tried to apply the following solution from the knowledge base: [URL] ...., however I ended at step 2, because there is no "Sites published with Web Presence Builder" parameter in any of my Service Plans.
I am running plesk Panel 11.5.30 instead of 10.x. and step 1 tells me the parameter "Sites published with Web Presence Builder" equals 10.
Today I wanted to configure server for colocation and I went to both HP and DELL, and everything was ok until I started to configure HDDs. Price of regular 1Tb HDD is about $500 on both DELL and HP, while same drive costs $84 on newegg. Whats the catch? I mean processor, RAM, and everything else has normal prices, but HDDs are 6X more expensive than normal price.
Do you know any good site where I can configure server and order it to colocation address. Also it must be very cheap ? Best would be if I could order components from new egg, send them to company which assembles everything and then send it to DC.
I hope this is in the correct section. Secondly, here is my issue that I am hoping someone can help with. I run a fairly successful video streaming site with several thousand members, and several thousand videos. I am trying to determine how many users I have online at any given time. Does anyone know of a piece of software/code out there that can provide me with this information in real time?
I'm in the process of putting together an online radio show, which will require live stream for a small audience at the beginning. I'm not familiar with online stream so I would like to hear from some of the expert on how to proceed.
I am currently shopping for web hosting for an online store (that would provide software - mostly automatically downloadable upon payment).
My estimates for initial operation of my web/online store are:
Storage: (10MB/app x 50 apps) + 50MB overhead = 550 MB Monthly transfer: 5000 purchases/month x 10MB/app = 10 GB Number of email accounts: up to 10
By "initial" I mean first year, not first month.
My intent is to develop my own osCommerce based web store for downloadable software that I develop. PHP and MySQL support are must. My estimates are not carved in stone. In the beginning I will certainly use much less "monthly transfer" than I specified and in the long term I hope to be using much more "monthly transfer" (as marketing evolves and the business becomes more established)...
The most important factors to me are (in the following order):
1) Reliability (up-time, security) 2) Tech support 3) Expandability (room to grow)
The company that registered my domain name provides web hosting with much more than I initially need (5GB space, 250GB transfer, 50 email accounts) for under $3 a month.
This is a price that I can afford. However, I am not sure whether it is a good idea to have both the web hosting and domain registration provided by the same company? Any opinions/comments you have about this? Is my doubt in this regard unfounded?
Secondly, is there some independent source (user/customer reviews OK) that compares the reliability of web hosting providers? (I would have given the name of my registrar here but I am unsure whether this would constitute advertising. If mentioning names or asking for references is allowed please let me know and I will post it here so that I can get your opinions about it).
Thirdly, is there any significance for where, geographically, the actual servers are located? Main consideration is access speed for customers...
I have been looking to talk to BurstNET reps about a possible purchase (gunna attempt to maybe negotiate a deal - trying to choose between VolumeDrive and BurstNET) but I have yet to find their chat to be online in the past week or so; I have checked during all hours of the day (meaning at different times of the day... not literally every single hour).
Furthermore I tried dropping their sales an email but have not got any sort of response yet (albeit its only been over a day but not even a confirmation or anything).
I will probably try to drop them an email again but was just wondering if anyone has ever had a live chat w/ BurstNET reps before?
I am making a plan to make an website that will have an radio fucntion that will play whatever the user would like play, from what I have made available and the radio would have different channels. Also there will be an Forums section and an article section.
The article section woulbe be articles that I wrote.
I would like some advice on what technology should I used to acheieve my results. Also what type of web hosting would I need? From the above specs would I need a database?
i'm starting an online advertising business and I'm looking for some kind of site-builder that facilitates web directory sites. Not just textual links.. but whole listings.. picture, menu, stuff like that, a google map to show location.. a proximity search feature.. anyone know of any site builders that have built-in templates to facilitate this? I suppose it's possible to pick a regular site builder with an ordinary template and start from scratch.. but it seems easier the other way.
I got several online pharmacies which i promote by SEO methods ( not SPAM etc. ) Need some advices where can i host them in Netherlands, Luxemburg or other eu countries not prohibiting pharmacy hosting.
I have a problem with my godaddy account, At this time my credit card is expiring within a month. when i try to log my hosting accounts and domain manager. It says to give a call for Godaddy billing support number. I tried it, but very busy. I sent few emails and no replies yet. So i couldn't access my account. I paid all bills. Luckily i don't have any expiring domains within few months.
Is this safe? because i need at least 2 weeks to get new credit card? When i check my domain by a whois tool it says like "Prohibited", something.
