My Domain Went Back To Showing The Parking Page
I started up a brand new site just over a week ago and set the DNS settings to point the domain to my site. It's been that way ever since. Now I try to login today to update my site and see that every url with my domain goes back to the GoDaddy parking page. Is this more a problem with my host, or GoDaddy?

Stats Showing Internal Page Views To Different Domain Names
I have a customer who is having trouble with his account and would like to help him out. He has a VPS from a totally different provider and his Bandwidth usage is 20x normal. In his awstats, the internal page views is showing a huge number of views to totally different domain names such as Yahoo.com etc Has anyone ever dealt with this before or have any experience with what it is and how to stop it?

Forum Is Showing A Blank Page
A few days ago i was transferred to a different server within my hosting company. All of my sites remained the same except the only forum i have (phpbb3) now displays a blank page. All the files and database are still intact and nothing has been changed. Any suggestions as to how i would fix this problem? would it be best to backup the database and reinstall a new copy of phpbb?

Changed Dns, But Still Showing Parked Page?
I changed the dns for a domain I purchased yesterday to a parking service at parked.com Last night I changed the name servers to my hostgator ones. It worked. I was installing joomla, and publishing the site. Everything was fine when I went to bed. So I wake up this morning.. now when I go to the site it shows the stupid parked.com parking page instead of what I was working on. I deleted all the cache, history, temp internet files, cookies, everything.. I tried in firefox, and IE. I tried on two different computers. I can't get my site to load up. I called hostgator and they said the site is fine and they don't see a park page. They told me just to clear my cache again. the site is www.wiispecs.com I would appreciate it if someone could check it out and tell me what site they see. I could use any ideas on how to fix this so I can view the page too. I tried switching name servers to godaddy and then switching back to hostgator. I also emailed parked.com tech support.

Showing As Home Page Without Index.html
Is it possible to show a default page as the home page of the web site, without setting it as index.html or default.html? This is only on a shared hosting account , so the client does not have access to the apache conf or anything like that. Here is the site. But, when I move the whole account over to my server, it doesn't show as the home page.

Domain Parking - Wildcard Domain Name Server (DNS)?
We have a lot of unused domains that we'd like to setup domain parking for. To keep it simple, we'd like to just change the namesevers to ns1.domainparking.com and ns2.domainparking.com (not real nameservers!) and the domains would then automatically show a simple web page. We use cpanel servers and are wondering how easy this is to do? I've seem mention of wildcard dns? Is that the answer?

Domain Parking With Win2k3 Domain Name Server (DNS)?
i have about 8 different domains i'd like to point to a nameserver (ns1./ns2.mydomain.com) on Win2k3 server, but i can't get them resolved through my nameserver without creating a manual forward lookup entry for each *parked* domain separatly.. Does anyone know how to resolve "parked" domains automatically on Win2k3 DNS?? I just can't find any answer for this, everything i've found required manual creation of lookup entries.. anyone?

I have got a VPS with basic LAMP installed. I want to park my domains, and create subdomains etc. I don't have any control panel, because I don't know how to install it. My VPS provider provides me a free (public? they use it for all of the VPS they host) name servers, but I don't know how to use them Does anyone have any links to tutorials, or anyone could explain me how to do it? There is some BIND9, but I don't know how to configure it. Lets say my site is stored in /var/www/page1 so is it posible to park domain to display content in that folder? Also I heard about some A records and CNAME, is it better solution? I know that you have to create A record pointing to IP address, but what to do next? I dont have a lot of money to pay my provider (they charge quite a lot for servers configuration, because its unmanaged services) Maybe any trusted person can configure my VPS? (ftp to create users, dns, or explanation how to use A records, secure php; GD). But I cant pay much, only $10 - $15 paypal

I am moving content from old.domain to new.domain However I am at the same time retaining the old.domain to keep the older links working I want that the old.domain/link redirect to new.domain/link Please advice what would be best to do for the old.domain - 1) Domain forwarding 2) Domain parking or Both the above (The other thing is that I would like to do 301 redirect - would this happen automatically by activating the above options - or something else has to be done)

Parking A Domain Under A Subdomain
I have 2 domains ie. red.com blue.com. They are both on seperate servers. I want red.com to be a subdomain for blue.com. I went ahead and created an A host for red.blue.com, I then created a virtualhost and everything is working, I can pull up red.blue.com and it pulls up the same data if I were to go to red.com. Here is my issue. I want to have red.com pull up red.blue.com by default so blue.com gets credit for traffic, I am moving red.com and moving it all into blue.com. Hopefully this makes sense. Also, I want to make sure nothing breaks my current search engine results.

Will the nameservers work if the nameservers are pointed to a parking page? For example: I need to change my nameservers to ns1.mywebhost.com and ns2.mywebhost.com (nameservers are made up) These nameservers are from my web hosting service provider. VPS For Managing Domain Parking
I have 65 parked domains that are reasonably high traffic (26000 hits per day). I'm looking to run my own VPS server to manage these domains. I would like to have all the domains nameserver records pointing to my VPS and redirect traffic from different Countries to different parking companies based on a php script. Domain Shows Default Green Cpanel Page
I don't know why but a domain is showing the green default cpanel page instead of its own homepage. The domain has been hosted on this box for a long time. DNS is fine, ran udpateuserdomains without error. No dns changes have been made. IP it is set to pings fine. Tested via 3rd party proxy, shows green cpanel page still. Shows proper IP in httpd.conf

Refferer's Landing Page And Source Page
Right now my stats system only shows from what website traffic is coming. I have google analytics aswell, and with all its functions, it does not tell me from exactly what webpage traffic is coming, and to what webpage the traffic is coming to. So, let say someone is sending me traffic from www.reffererxxx.com/cool_video.html to www.mysite.com/super_cool_video.html My statistics would only show that www.reffererxxx.com is sending traffic to www.mysite.com Is there a way(a script/service/program) to find out exactly from what webpage the traffic is coming, and to what webpage of mine the traffic is going to? (I do not have server logs / webalizer / awstats as my server cannot handle the log processing due to high server loads)

Showing VPS Uptime
I have a VPS and am looking for a way to show existing and potential clients the uptime levels of the server. I have a basic uptime page provided by WHMCS, but I want to go a little beyond that. If I were to choose an uptime reporting service such as siteuptime.com, hyperspin.com or site24x7.com, what would you recommend that I monitor? Obviously HTTP, FTP, POP3 and MySQL, but anything else? Do these services monitor the server load also? Also, is it a good idea to display these stats publicly?

My server is centos 5 with cPanel. When I go to [url](xx.xx.xx.xx being an IP on my server) it shows a random web hosting account that is on that IP? How do I stop this and put one page there or the "great success, cPanel and apache are working on your server" page there?

Hacker :: Pages Showing Errors
It seems like someone has hacked into my server, and all of the pages for one of my domains are showing errors. Each page on my site is showing a PHP inclusion error, each file on my site is trying to include an unknown file /tmp/blah.php for example which doesn't exist on my site, therefore creating errors and not showing my site. I checked my site in ftp, it isn't in the code. So it is definitely in a server file somewhere. What could be doing this? Its for a single domain only, I've created the file it is trying to include as a temporary fix, I have checked php.ini and there seems no reference to the included file there.

Php Showing Code Not Executing
i have a vps account and am trying to setup my website i installed php 4 from a control panel where it auto installed php and there is mysql and i installed all of them but when i upload my script and go to install or go to the index of my site it shows the php code and does not execute. my permissions are right on i also made a testphp file and used this code <?php phpinfo(); ?> and still nothing just shows the php code when you browse to the file i even went further i installed from the control panel another program called phpmyadmin and when i log in it does the same thing just shows php code so what the hell is going on you think i need to contact my host provider for this issue i sent an email out but waiting for a responce

Private (local) IP Addresses Showing Up In My Logs
I just discovered this completely by accident on my new vps visits (via apache) from 10.16.x.x and 10.28.x.x These aren't backups but actual website visits. What on earth is going on? Is my host browsing my website though their network? Their behavior seems harmless but I just want to make sure this is not a security issue with a neighbor somehow doing something.
